Nene Leakes may just be one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but when she was in her twenties, the lady as a stripper. She talks about all of it in her autobiography Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, and doesn't feel it was a mistake at all. "Yes, I was a stripper - let the judgments ensue. I'm no ashamed."
To her, the stripping is no ones business because it doesn't affect them at all, and obviously she did it for a good reason. "[I stripped] for the sake of my son, and to restore my confidence in myself. My son was in private school, his father wasn't chipping in for pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out. It was about survival." Survival of the fittest my friend. Charles Darwin would have been proud.
But it wasn't just the surviving part that Silk liked. Oh, sorry, yah Silk was Nene's stripper name. For her, it was the power she wielded over the people she stripped for. ""I could make $500 off one guy just by turning him on. These men were obviously there to see what I had, and I quickly realized that those men weren't there to make me feel bad about myself." So stripping will give me self-confidence? That's good to know.
Stripping isn't the only ting Nene talks about in her book; she's quite positive that her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mate and former friend Kim Zolciak is insane. "I'm not sure if she's been clinically diagnosed," Nene says in her book, "but I'm convinced that if she were to lie down on a doctor's couch, a psychiatrist could surmise within minutes that Kim is a wack job." I definitely don't like Kim on the show and I agree with Nene that Kim is "without question [is] the most superficial person I have ever come across in my life. If Kim doesn't have labels and nice cars and an expensive home, she will literally die ... gag me with two spoons."
Two spoons? Nice. Wait, when did you become a Valley Girl? No one says gag me with a spoon anymore Nene. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake twice. Haha! Did you see that? I put the title of the book in my joke! I am obviously so funny.

I want to ask something - is Nene missing her bottom teeth? It looks like she is and when the camera got up close in the last show it looked like she just had her bottom front 4 teeth and the rest were gone...was I seeing things?
