Back to the business of making music, Chris Brown is on the roster of performers scheduled to take to the stage as part of a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna.
Brown will join singers Natalie Cole and Mary J. Blige as well as Jackson's original dancers and band on September 26, with a total of 25 performers expected to take part.
The gig will take place just outside a 17th-century palace in the city. Let's just hope that it won't violate Mr. Brown's parole.

Bernadette says:
You are kidding me, right? Who wants to see that asshole? The Jacksons are so tacky. Poor Michael!
Karmen says:
What the fuck? I hate this asshole. Why is he not the social pariah that he should be? Shame on Hollywood for not letting this piece of trash rot.
Martiniman says:
"Headline" was a generous title Lisa based on the other performers involved. Although, we'll all be looking forward to Chris' cover of Beat It.
nauseous says:
Gross, no. I can't believe how acceptable domestic violence is to these people. Me, I'll just listen to Thriller that night, thanks. But if someone could post a list of advertisers so I'll know who to boycott, I'd appreciate it.
aw! says:
This asshole doesn't belong there. If fact, this asshole doesn't belong anywhere. Why, after he has beat up a woman, is he allowed to perform?
Jp says:
I'm disappointed that he's still getting work.
Whalona Wont's says:
Don't blame the Jackson's for CB, Michael should be honored! I think they maybe doing it for the people whom loved him. I know hardcore "REPUBLICANS" that were more broken up over his death then I was...Did people talk shit about the folks that exploited the events of "Sept 11, 2001?" Oh... Lets sell some flags and all that... Chris brown is an entity onto himself. Let question the next chic that gets with this D-bag to boost her profile. Leave the Jackson's alone.
Bernadette says:
Um, why shouldn't I blame the Jacksons, Whalona?
He was already denied to pay tribute to Michael at the BET awards and that was the right decision to make. So, why should he be allowed to perform this time?
The tribute should be all about Michael and his legendary talent as an artist and shouldn't be overshadowed by a discussion whether it is right or wrong to let a man who beats women and doesn't even have any kind of honest remorse about it pay tribute to an icon like Michael.
I bet that there are enough talented black music artists left to take Chris Brown's place.
It also sends are wrong signal to boys and men who have the same issues as Brown and could be led to think that it is not a big deal to beat up a woman and young girls could get the impression that boys/men have the right to beat them up and that nobody will care anyway so that they don't even think about reporting them the next time they get hit in the face with a fist.
