The press in the UK seems to frequently make up exclusive stories to sell copies of newspapers and magazines.
The U.K.'s More! magazine featured a Britney Spears June cover story billed as an exclusive one-on-one conversation with the singer.
Instead, the "interview" was more like a greatest-hits collection of every publicly issued statement Spears had delivered over the past year, with such banal revelations as "I'm just not that into going out late at night or going to clubs anymore" and "There are so many things that I am grateful for."
So much for the exclusive. So what is Britney doing with her time now that she's not going out to clubs? Tending to her new Parakeet should take up some of her time. She purchased the bird yesterday at a Casablancas pet store after her failed attempt at shopping at Target.
