Lady Gaga used her musical talents for good. The singer helped broker an astonishing $5 billion in trades at BCG's annual charity earlier this month. Spies said the secret to her success had nothing to do with keeping a poker face, but everything to do with singing to clients on the phone. The event raised over $10 million for charities including the Wounded Warrior Project and the Children's Institute.
Ga does have to earn a living, so in New York, she, along with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, and Monster officially launched the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga.
She explained why she chose the design of a triangle to exemplify the three things she would die without: love, fashion, and friends. Like with any genius, there is a method to their madness. Monster insures that the quality of the sound is still rich, despite being 'fashion' earphones. And even though these are likely to be labeled for women, Lady Gaga herself describes the Heartbeats designed to be 'unisex.'
