Having struggled for years with endometriosis, Emmy-nominated host of Bravo's Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi is pregnant.
Her rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly, stating, "As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi's privacy at this time."
In fact, model and author, Lakshmi, helped co-found the Endometriosis Foundation of America to help those suffering from the medical condition that affects a woman's ability to conceive. While the news of the pregnancy has been confirmed, the identity of the father remains a mystery.
Looking back, these pictures of Padma at this year's Emmys, we should have noticed her little baby bump. But to be fair, those flowers were distracting--as they were intended to be.
