During her stay in India, Jessica Simpson liked her newly-acquired henna tattoos on her hands so much that she's still wearing the intricate designs after her arrival back to Los Angeles. But then again, it's not like she can just rub them off.
The Mehndi designs are usually applied with turmeric paste and are typically Indian, according to a rep for the pop star, who adds, "It's a big style statement too. The really intricate designs take hours to apply by hand using just a brush. The artists are very skilled."
Additionally, the spokesperson explains, "They're worn at wedding ceremonies and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India."
I'm going to go on a limb here and predict we start seeing more of these tattoos on then hands of "single eligible women" in Hollywood. Some of them seem as if they can use all the good luck they can get.

The only reason why any non-indian young girl would go to india, would be to change their luck or life by voodoo.. Most of hollywood are wearing red "kabblah" string around their hands, not so much because of Kabbalh, but more of a evil eye voodoo reason to take away the evil eye. So Jessica obvioulsy no reason to go to india other than to break the curse of her life and when they go to india that is the reason why. I am 99.9% sure she went to a gurgi and had her life turned around from all the bad luck she was getting, because 1st her hand tattoo thats the 1st sign and 2nd her evil eye braclet, so these are all the rituals that are done to someone to change their luck and indians are known to have the best black magic ever to change someones life. watch how her life will change from bad to good after she comes back from her so called reality tv trip, belive me her luck will def be turned around.. just watch her closely!

India is a beautiful place. I've only been there once but I'd love to go back there again. Unfortunately henna is pretty hard to get off so Jessica will probably have that on her hand for a while. It'll gradually wear off.
