Once again, Kate Hudson has busted out the mascara and pensive poses for a photoshoot for Elle magazine. Dressed in a black one-piece swimsuit and racer gloves, Kate shows off her muscular build in this pictorial. 30-year-old Hudson tells the mag that she had to shed 20 pounds from her already thin frame, in order to play the role of a terminally ill patient who falls in love with her doctor.
As part of her weight-loss program, Kate confesses that she's had to give up alcohol. Hudson tells the mag, "I love my glass of wine. I love tequila. To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I'm not sure I've ever done that!"
As for her views on altering her looks surgically, Kate admits that she would have no problem with getting some work done. She gushes, "The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I'm glad it's there for when it's time."
Hmm, maybe someone had a little chat with her Nine co-star, Nicole Kidman.
