Life on the D-List doesn't look so bad. Kathy Griffin, a self-proclaimed D-Lister, is virtually swimming in work opportunities these days, and even if not all of the offers are exactly panning out, the 49-year-old comic's dance card is almost full.
First, her cult TV show on Bravo, My Life on the D-List has just been renewed for its sixth season. For those of you who are sensitive to vulgarity and have no gay friends, D-List, "documents the comedian's adventures in Hollywood, where she sometimes gets the star treatment and sometimes does not." It's hilarious and a guilty pleasure.
On the not-as-bright side, ABC has nixed the November launch of Let's Dance, a reality/competition show Griffin was pegged to host. The show would have featured, "celebrities attempting to re-create memorable dance routines," musicals and music videos. I find this missed opportunity a true bummer especially when I envision Kathy, her mom, and the rest of team Griffin recreating the finale dance number from Dirty Dancing, or replicating the choreography from the Thriller video.
Last, and hardly least, the funny lady will be guest-starring in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit this February, in which "she will play a lesbian activist." Of course she plans to prepare for her role in the method acting technique.
Life on the D-List seems so fine that even if invited to the C or even B-List, Griffin might just want to stick with D and sit pretty.

Who Watches This Crap III (the third) says:
I find it hard to believe someone thinks this lady is funny. Please don't come near me.
Seriously?
Who Watches This Crap is a DICK says:
Everyone in the industry watches her including the head of NBC who gave her the show on Bravo. Also, she sells out ALL of her shows including the ones at Madison Square Garden that she does every year. Oh, and her memoir was #1 on the New York Times non fiction. So... A LOT of people find her funny. Seriously funny. Funny enough to give her two emmy awards as well.
