Style-conscious American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, is set to debut his debut album, For Your Entertainment, and is prepping for the event with a stroll on the red carpet for the premiere of 2012. The singer's song, "Time for Miracles," is featured in the soundtrack for the disaster movie.

Lambert chatted with MTV News about his participation with the film, "I really feel honored that they came to me and asked me. I think it's obviously a risk on their part because this was before any sort of album had been completed or hardly even started."

As for other attendees of the event, Thandie Newton and Sofia Vergara looked absolutely stunning in their strapless dresses. Yowzah. John Cusack was in his usual all black ensemble and Woody Harrelson looked dapper in his suit and fedora.

Another one bites the dust. Adam Lambert has split from boyfriend Drake LaBry. First reported by Just Jared, Usmagazine.com has confirmed the Adam has split from his interior designer boyfriend.

"They're still friends, and it's totally mutual," the source tells Us. "They will still talk and see each other."

And there's very little drama behind the split, the pal says. It's all about timing -- and Lambert's on-the-launchpad career. "Adam is crazy busy right now getting the album done and squeezing in rehearsals," the source tells Us, referring to Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment, out Nov. 23. "They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit."

Adam Lambert has a lot to say about his forthcoming album, and he took to his Twitter account to give details.

The much discussed album cover: Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an homage to the past. It IS ridiculous.

About his first single: The upcoming single was produced by Dr Luke!! Debut single is called "For Your Entertainment" get ready to shake yo asses to this song. It'll make ya dance for sure. :)

Other album details: There is also a song called "Soaked" written by Muse! Also a tune called "Music Again" written by Justin Hawkins of the Darkness! I also wrote on four songs on the album. "Strut", "Aftermath" "Broken Open" and "Down the Rabbit Hole" (iTunes bonus track).

It was a windy day at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, but if you were a celebrity, or had a really good publicist, this is where you were at last night. The premiere of Michael Jackson's This Is It was where all of Hollywood was.

Director Kenny Ortega said the film's goal was to "tell a story for the fans."

Creating the film "was powerful. There was laughter, there were tears," Ortega said. "This is not the journey that we thought we'd be on, but we had to do this for the fans. This has been very healing."

Michael's brothers -- Marlon, Randy, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie -- walked the red carpet to support the film, which they said they had not yet seen.

"This is what Michael would like to share, his work. He'd be most proud," Jermaine said. "I want the film to show that with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything."

Pop icon, Madonna, has reportedly given FOX musical sensation, the thumbs-up to use her songs for use in an "all-Madonna-music episode," according to Entertainment Weekly.

If the series stars give Madge's songs the same treatment as they did their cover of "Don't Stop Believin'," then viewers are in for a serious treat.

Speaking of pop star power, the show's co-creator, Ryan Murphy, admits that he is hoping to get American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, to sign on for a guest appearance. Well, wouldn't that be just fabulous?

American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, has played it coy in the past whenever he's been faced with questions about his sexuality. However, his confession to Rolling Stone that he is gay has done little to dissuade his female fans from doing their best to arouse his attention.

Adam tells Details magazine, "It's flattering. I've never had underwear thrown at me before. Clearly there's something significant about it, because there aren't a lot of openly gay men in the entertainment industry."

The singer confesses that sometimes it's gone beyond a simple exchange of underwear. One stunning woman in New Jersey started kissing Lambert on his neck and then, Adam claims, "She gave me a note that said, 'I want to make out with you, here's my number,' and I was like, wow, this is crazy. But again, it's cool. Because yeah, I am gay, but I like kissing women sometimes."

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert is prepping for his debut album, set to be released next month.  MTV.com reports that Lambert is dropping hints to his fans on what to expect, as well as his struggle with the album's sound.

Working with everyone from Pink to Idol's own Kara DioGuardi, Lambert was able to just let go of any inhibitions about the album.  He didn't box himself into a genre, but instead let the album go in all sorts of different directions.

'"The album will span many genres', Lambert said, so he doesn't get stuck in one lane. 'I don't think an album has to have one sound. ... I don't like boxing myself into a genre,' he said. 'But if I had to pick one major style, the classic-rock stuff is where I was most comfortable on the show -- or at least that's what people saw me as the most.'"

"'I wanna rock, I want people to dance.  I want people to cry, I want people to smile and laugh,' he said. 'I wanna play dress-up!'"

Yeah!!! I love playing dress-up! For the record, I voted yes to Glambot Lambert on American Idol.
