Is Ben Affleck back? The actor has been getting some of his best reviews in years for his role as George Reeves, the original Superman, in "Hollywoodland." However, he doesn't want to call this film a comeback.
"I never use the 'c'-word -- it's impolite," the 34-year-old told reporters after a press screening of the film.
"Nowadays ... people pay attention more and more to actors' private lives or personal lives or even the most mundane aspects of their every day lives in a kind of parallel track alongside their movies," said popular tabloid target Affleck.
"Even the movies sometimes become incidental pit stops or commercial breaks in the soap opera of their life. I think that is bad for the actors, definitely, because it makes it difficult to suspend disbelief when you go and see their movie."
He called fame "just the dance you have to dance."
Ben's actually looking pretty good right now. He's lost some weight, cleaned himself up a bit. The fact that Ben's maintained a pretty low profile since he married Jennifer Garner, has done wonders for the public's perception of Ben as a person and as an actor.

A very reliable spy spotted Lindsay Lohan and Adrian Brody leaving Bungalow 8 together, and they were acting all flirty with each other. This was the second time that they were seen together in one week. It's love, people. A source close to Lindsay told Star, "It's not been officially announced yet, but she's definitely landed the job."
