Television: 2009 SAG Award Winners

30 Rock rocked all three comedy categories of the SAG Awards in a clean sweep. This is becoming a habit for Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, who both won for best actor and actress in a comedy series as well as best series.

The critically-lauded Mad Men snagged the best drama series cast prize, Hugh Laurie from House won for best actor in a drama series and Sally Field from Brothers & Sisters was recognized as best actress.

HBO's John Adams took the actor and actress in a miniseries awards, which were handed to Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney respectively. The stunt ensemble award went to Heroes.

National Board Of Review Awards: Classy, Sexy Ladies

The swank National Board of Review Awards gala attracted a host of curvy ladies such as Salma Hayek, Heather Graham, Anne Hathaway and Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri.

Held at Cipriani on 42nd Street in NYC, the event marks the Centennial of the NBR and was sponsored by Bulgari. Ah yes, that explains the gorgeous actresses. If you're looking to attract beautiful women, just throw a pile of diamonds somewhere and they will come. It's like a salt lick.

Tina Fey Called Out Actual Haters

Comedian and Alec Baldwin keeper Tina Fey is a cool-ass chick (yes, I know the backlash is about to begin in T-minus....) and proved herself so by clowning on actual people who have hated on her on the Intenet during her Golden Globe award acceptance speech.

During her speech, which was pretty amusing she mentioned how whenever she gets too sure of herself, she goes online. She looks to see what the HATERS, sorry, H8ERS are saying about her. And then she called those dicks out!

Someone calling themselves "dianefan" has repeatedly been cutting up Fey on the LA Times' Envelope awards site with comments such as "This Tina Fey love fest is a bloody joke at this point. I am rooting for anyone else in that category" and "Tina Fey was simply like the pimple on my face - just there .... I think that the key issue here is the fact that when Tina is at her best, she's just not that great."

And Tina mentioned her and "babson lacrosse" out by name! She's brilliant! Fey logged on to namedrop H8ERS and prove herself even more down to earth. She's just like one of us - vindictive and cruel!

The Mens: 2009 Golden Globes Red Carpet

Pierce Brosnan, now there's a man who just looks like he came out of the womb, dressed in a newborn-sized tuxedo.

Ugh seriously? Sunglasses, Ashton Kutcher? Granted, Brad Pitt's just as bad for wearing them, but at least he's Brad Pitt.

I gotta say, I've never been a big Tom Cruise fan, but he sure does clean up nice. I just wish he would have worn the eyepatch I've become obsessed with. If Janice Dickinson can make it work, I'd love to see what Tom would do with it on the red carpet. Also, when do we get to see Suri Cruise on the red carpet?

And I'm loving the balance that Golden Globe winner (for In Bruges) Colin Farrell has found between sexy scruffy and polished. He's got all the hair under control and I'm highly appreciative. Speaking of scruffy, Robert Downey Jr. was looking a little bit much with the wacky hair and the Ellen DeGeneres-style suit, but since it's RBJ, he can get away with it. Sunglasses and all.

And of course Alec Baldwin is wearing a perfectly-tailored tux. It's after six. What is he, a farmer?

2009 Golden Globe Awards: Television Winners

Television was dominated by 30 Rock and HBO's John Adams. For the musical or comedy category, rumored-to-be warring co-stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are clearly doing something right off-screen because they both won. The show itself also took the prize as well.

It was nearly a clean sweep for John Adams, winning the Miniseries or Movie category, Laura Linney taking the actress award, Paul Giamatti taking the comparable Golden Globe for his acting in the film. Tom Wilkinson took the Supporting Actor prize for his turn in the period piece.

Snazzy Mad Men won for best drama series and Steven Spielberg won the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Yes, him and NOT Steven Spielburger. They are often mistaken for one another. Much like how I included that award in the "television" and not the "film" post.

Tina Fey Needs To Give Alec Baldwin A Beatdown

All is not kosher on the set of 30 Rock, which is probably the funniest show on TV. So if these two wreck it, I'm back to watching Golden Girls reruns on Lifetme. Oh, who am I kidding, I watch them religiously anyways. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin got nasty on the set of a photoshoot with each other recently. Did he call her a "rude little pig?"

"Get ready to do a lot of airbrushing," Baldwin commented. Fey wasn't about this, so she asked "Something wrong with my face?" and he told her it was her entire body!

Look, sexy or not, he better shut his child-abusing mouth! Tina told him he had a double chin and thought Sarah Palin was hot. Which means that he wants to eff Tina? Good one, Tina. But I so would have called him a "rude little pig" and told you were calling DYS on him.

Reese Witherspoon Would Love To Visit '30 Rock'

In case 30 Rock is looking for another high-profile guest star, Reese Witherspoon is offering her acting services to the NBC sitcom.

When the Four Christmases actress was asked by E! if she'd consider popping in on the show, Witherspoon responded, "Oh, sure. Yeah. I love Tina [Fey], and I think she does such a great job, and she really understands comedy for women."

If she'd like to get on the show, she should try putting on a Salma Hayek costume. But then again, Alec Baldwin probably wouldn't ever let her leave.

Alec Baldwin Strenuously Trying To Get Some Off Salma Hayek

People reports that 30 Rock hotness/really bad parent Alec Baldwin is totally making a play for chesty actress Salma Hayek.

"She was literally the most fabulous woman that I've ever worked with," Baldwin said about the mother of 1-year-old Valentina.

And she felt the exact same way back. Salma plays Alec's love interest for five episodes of the Tina Fey-created sitcom.

"We had such a great time!" she told People, "I love Alec to death. He energizes me ... because he's so talented. He really, truly inspires me."

Oh noes, they totally did it.

"This is the gift that Alec gave me," she said of a pashmina wrap, "just for being his girlfriend for five episodes. I feel like he's coming with me tonight!"

Ok, first off - he's funny and a great actor but he's a troll to his one child. Secondly, who in the 2001 hell gives pashminas anymore? Damn!

News Bites: Jordan Sells More Lingerie

-Katie Price has bills to pay and a marriage to save, so launching her latest lingerie line mysteriously entitled the Katie Price Collection kills two birds with one sexy stone--curling iron gun sold separately.

-Alec Baldwin describes his kissing scenes with 30 Rock guest star Jennifer Aniston by saying, "It was the greatest day of my life." He was very thankful that the Friends star graced the series with an appearance, calling her "a doll."

-50 Cent and Taco Bell continue to duke it out in court with the rapper accusing the fast food chain of using his name for publicity. In response to Fiddy's $4 million federal lawsuit, Taco Bell's lawyers said that the rapper "has a well-publicized track record of making threats, starting feuds and filing lawsuits." Uh oh. Taco Bell's gonna catch on fire, if it's not careful.

Comedy Winners: 2008 Emmy Awards

Sweeping the category almost completely, 30 Rock took the prize for outstanding comedy series. Alec Baldwin took home his first Emmy for lead actor in a comedy series and his co-star Tina Fey nabbed the prize for lead actress in the category.

The role of the sassy mother to Christina Applegate's character in Samantha Who? earned Jean Smart best supporting actress in a comedy series. Kathy Griffin repeated her success at the Creative Arts Emmy when her Bravo series My Life on the D-List won outstanding reality program.

Jeremy Piven took home another Emmy for his performance as super-sleazeball agent Ari Gold in Entourage. Looks like Mark Wahlberg has a lot to celebrate this month. Oh yes, and The Daily Show won for outstanding music, variety or comedy series.
