I'm not sure if Kate Hudson didn't think that because she has small breasts that she didn't need to use double-sided tape with her low-cut gown, but she did. When she leaned over to that microphone, she gave the world a view of her right nipple.
She also got a BIG kiss from Alex Rodriguez backstage at the American Music Awards. According to People, after the pair palled around with Fergie in the chilly outdoor backstage area at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, "A-Rod gave Kate a big squeeze to keep her warm," says a source, "and a sweet smooch."
Hudson was, "beaming, glowing actually," adds the source. And perhaps feeling a bit nippy.
However Taylor Swift was not there, but she's apparently incredibly popular. She beat out Michael Jackson to win Entertainer of the Year and took home a total of five American Music Awards.
The highlight of the night for me was Whitney Houston's performance of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength." While the rasp was present throughout the performance, the girl knows how to command a stage. She belted out the performance until she was almost out of breath. It was a powerful moment.
Michel Jackson ended up with four awards. Other multiple winners included hip-hop acts Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas, with two each.
The Black Eyed Peas were named favorite group in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories. Jay-Z won favorite male artist and favorite album in the rap/hip-hop categories.
Punk rock trio Green Day was named favorite alternative artist. Rascal Flatts won favorite country group for the fourth year in a row.

That's what Alex Rodriguez thought when he purchased a pricey Louis Vuitton white-gold ring encrusted in jewels for his girlfriend. The gesture is supposed to be an expensive thank you to Hudson for supporting her main man during his journey to the World Series this year with the New York Yankees.
A source dishes to In Touch magazine, "He has a World Series ring, and now she does, too. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry and very unusual...He clearly knows her style and has great taste...She thought it was such a romantic gesture."
Ooh, you know what would be even more romantic? A painted portrait of Kate as a centaur.

2009 has been quite a turbulent year for Yankees slugger, Alex Rodriguez. He acknowledged that he'd used steroids years ago, dated Madonna and experienced more than a few ups and downs during the baseball season.
Shortly after jumping off a parade float, A-Rod chatted with press about the past season on Friday, which resulted in his team taking the World Series while his movie star girlfriend, Kate Hudson, cheered him on.
Rodriguez said he was a better player by focusing more on baseball and less on talking. More than once, he expressed a desire to be "one of the guys." Except that he would like to continue to date women like Madonna and Kate Hudson.

After following their baseball-playing boyfriends throughout this season, Minka Kelly and Kate Hudson helped the Yankees celebrate their 27th World Series Victory by partying it up at the NYC club, 1Oak.
Hudson joined slugger boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, and his mother, Lourdes Navarro, and sister, Suzy, at the event. The couple arrived together at 2 a.m. and while Kate only spent half an hour at the gathering, A-Rod didn't leave until 5 a.m. Minka and her sweetie, Derek Jeter, were in it for the long haul, both staying until around 5 in the morning. A witness claims, "Minka and Derek seemed really happy."
Additionally, it seems that the relationship between Kate and A-Rod is still pretty hot and heavy. A snitch tells Us Weekly, "They love sex! Kate gets graphic talking about his body, even to her parents."
And Kate's not the only one who's a fan of Alex's physique. In fact a former flame claims that the professional athlete has decorated his bedroom with "two painted portraits of himself as a centaur." The snitch adds, "He was so vain...It was ridiculous."
He probably thinks this post is about him.

Kate Hudson made a bold move at one game and moved from Alex Rodriguez's front-row seats along the third-base line to sit with three other wives -- and they eagerly mugged for a Post photographer with the movie star.
Typically, movie star girlfriends like Derek Jeter's girlfriend Minka Kelly are shunned by the long-suffering wives.
"She's a great girl," Amber said. "She's super cool."
"We love her!" Laura cooed. "She doesn't act like a superstar. She's on the field, she's in the family room, she's really becoming part of the group. They're happy, and it shows in the way he's playing. I think it's great."

We're just all about the maybe baby news today aren't we? InTouch Weekly reports that Kate Hudson is already hoping on board the "I want to have Alex Rodriguez's baby" train. Although the two have only been dating for a few months, she's ready for a family.
A close friend told InTouch, "She just turned 30 and she's ready to have her second child. She wants Ryder [Robinson] to have a sibling, so she brought up the idea to Alex and told him that they would make a beautiful baby together, and that she would assume all financial responsibility." However, it seems that A-Rod may not be quite ready for one yet.
Still, the two have been quite the pair the past few months. Kate joined Alex on a trip to Toronto for a game where one insider claims, "Kate and Alex had a major romantic dinner date at the Bymark - a very high-end restaurant," explains the insider. "After dinner they went straight back to their suite at the Hyatt, and she didn't surface until 2 the following afternoon!" I think we all know what that means! It was one wild night of Monopoly, no?
Even Kate's mom Goldie Hawn and her partner Kurt Russell are fond of Alex. The three of them attended the Yankees vs. Red Sox game last week and onlookers said Alex kept stealing glances at Kate. Really Alex, keep your head in the game. No one will want to date you if you start to suck at baseball.
I'm still upset about Kate's divorce from Chris Robinson. I liked the two of them together. Look how cute Ryder is! Hopefully Alex and Kate's baby will be just as beautiful.
