'Ugly Betty' Is Back [PHOTO GALLERY]

Despite Ugly Betty's horrible time slot on Friday night, the show is experience a creative resurgence this season. Hell, I'm even enjoying Daniel's storyline. Plus, they've added the hunkalicious Adam Rodriguez to the cast, at least temporarily, and it's amazing what he can do when he's not having to analyze a crime scene.

'Ugly Betty' Cast Continues To Promote

Back from the Bahamas, on Sunday night, costume designer Patricia Field (The Devil Wears Prada, Sex and the City) and America Ferrera, Becki Newton, Michael Urie and Vanessa Williams from Ugly Betty sat down for a conversation with Horacio Silva from "T: The New York TImes Style Magazine" to usher in the new season of the show, which shoots in the Silvercup Studios in Long Island City and locations around town.

'Ugly Betty' Season 4 Premiere Delayed A Week

The premiere of the fourth season of Ugly Betty has been pushed back one week. ABC has been reworking its fall schedule and after the special two-hour episode, the series will be moved to its regular 9 p.m. time slot on Fridays.

While it's unclear what effect the schedule switcheroo will have on viewership, but there certainly are plenty of upcoming season highlights intended to entice audiences into tuning in like a guest appearance from Colombian pop star, Shakira.

Meanwhile, the stars of the show glammed it up to celebrate the forthcoming season in the Bahamas.

America Ferrera Has A Big Sausage

Sporting what looks like a designer hot dog costume, America Ferrera, filming along with co-star Michael Urie looked all kinds of Oscar Mayer glamorous on the set Ugly Betty.

The actress was obviously in costume for her role on the ABC comedy, which has her dressing up like she's ready to roll around on the BBQ grill and pop into a bun later on.

I have to say that for an outfit of processed meat, she actually looks pretty stylish.

'Ugly Betty' Is Looking Fabulously Stylish

Well, it looks like we can't call her ugly much longer. It looks like America Ferrera's Betty Suarez on the show Ugly Betty is looking quite polished and put together. While filming in New York City today, America looked fantastic as Betty with a quite put together red ensemble. She almost looks as good as America usually does when she's hanging out.

Sure, she had on some yellow ankle socks, but you can't expect Betty to change that much, can you? She's still got the braces and glasses too, which I love. All of this new found fashion must stem from the fact that Betty is no longer an assistant but Features Editor for fictitious Mode magazine. Seriously, I cannot wait for this new season. It's going to be so good!

Oh, and her new TV boyfriend played by Daniel Eric Gold is so entertaining. Those two are extremely cute together. Look at them kissing! I love it! Yay Betty! Hope ABC keeps up the new look during the whole season, since everyone loves the Betty look so much.

America Embraces Michael Urie's Theater Pursuits

Ugly Betty stars Michael Urie and America Ferrera are spending their seasonal hiatus from television at the theater.

Michael got some backstage support from America after performing in an off-Broadway production of The Temperamentals at The Barrow Group Theater. The sold-out play is in limited run that was extended until August 23.

Meanwhile, these two certainly seem to be getting the most out of their summer vacation. America's sporting a tan, some snappy summer fashions and a big smile. And Michael looks like he couldn't be happier to have his cast mate by his side.

America Ferrera Tells 'Gotham' Magazine 'Ugly' Is Becoming Hip

Ugly Betty actors Becki Newton, Vanessa Williams and Tony Plana showed up at the Gotham magazine party to celebrate their costar America Ferrera landing the cover.

Dressed in a light blue silk dress with a plunging neckline and capped sleeves, America looked flawless at the event. She topped off her look with some red lipstick and a half-up, half-down hairdo.

The stylish star lamented in her interview with the mag that her character Betty Suarez has turned into something of a hipster fashion icon. "Go down to the East Village. You'll find 25 people dressed like Betty. Now our problem is, how do we keep her Betty and not make her look too cute? Because her crazy style is everywhere."

Ah, looking too cute. A problem that has plagued me since birth. Sadly, I can't suggest anything short of taking a hammer to her face.

The only representative from the Ugly Betty cast at the 2009 Kids Choice Awards was its star America Ferrera. Looking chic in a flattering, ruched coral dress, America rarely misses the mark at these events. Loving the hair, the peep-toe shoes and perfect face.

Ginnifer Goodwin's Gigi Is 'Resilient'

The New York Observer revealed that during Ginnifer Goodwin's travels down the red carpet at the New York screening of He's Just Not That Into You, her word of the day was "resilient."

When describing her character in the film, Gigi, to reporters, Goodwin had her response well-rehearsed and explained, "I humiliate myself in front of men on a daily basis and I do embrace rejection like Gigi. I just wish I was as open and resilient as she is."

The science of a rejection isn't an exact one, folks. Meanwhile, it looks like Ginnifer was in charge of holding down the fort because I don't see any other members of the star-studded cast.

America Ferrera: 2009 SAG Awards Red Carpet

Hell yeah! Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is bringing the side-ponytail back and in a big way. The flowing, diaphanous gown is a Vera Wang creation, clearly inspired by the designer's Spring 2009 Bridal collection.

Although I wish her dress would have been a more dramatic color--ooh, imagine if this had been a deep green--she looked amazing with her sideswept hair, red lips and matching nail polish.
