This is kinda hot. Every celebrity you've ever thought of touching you showed up for Stand Up To Cancer event at the Kodak Theater in LA yesterday. Tons of celebs such Jennifer Garner, America Ferrara, Marlo Thomas, Abagail Breslin, Rob Lowe, Sheryl Crow, Salma Hayek, Christina Ricci, Neil Patrick Harris, and well....just name one!

The actual telethon aired on all three of the big networks last night, while the selfish celebs were over at Fashion Rocks. Shame on them!

"This is an absolutely historic night, thanks to the unbelievable generosity of the three networks," producer and cancer survivor Laura Ziskin told the audience.

A glowing America Ferrera hit the red carpet at he NAACP Image Awards, where she went home with the prize of Outstanding Actress in a Comedy. On stage to accept her award, America expressed her gratitude for the recognition, saying, "It feels really good to be in this room with such wonderful, beautiful, colorful faces." That's how I feel about perusing the red carpet here.

The awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, with D.L. Hughley playing host. I LOVE that CCH Pounder showed up to the event with a giant, red, heart-shaped purse. Probably part of the reason that I love it so much is that she's got that big grin on her face in stark contrast to the serious characters she always seems to play on-screen. Also, her name is so awesome.

Kate Walsh was there, with "Grey's Anatomy" up for some awards and I LOVE her dark hair. Her make-up and dress are flawless as well. Too bad I'm too lazy to watch her new show.

Whoah. Eva Pigford looks like she ran over to the awards right after a guest spot as a sexy alien being on some Star Wars spin-off. Seriously, what the hell is going on with that hair? It can't decide what texture it wants to be. Actually, it doesn't look bad in the full-length picture.

And I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to question the integrity of the NAACP Image Awards if friggin' Omarosa and her fake-ass boobs and personality were actually invited to attend. Luckily, though, they make up for it with a stunning Tia Mowry. I heart her and "The Game" and I don't care who knows it.

It all comes down to the dresses doesn't it? Other than Kate Hudson's peacock inspired gown, and Kate Beckinsale's caked on makeup, I say the women looked lovely. You can tell I haven't had enough sleep when my blog titles start to get real punny. Announcers of the SAG Awards nominations were a very happy-looking Jeanne Tripplehorn and Terrence Howard, who excitedly revealed that "Into the Wild," the drama based on the real-life story of a young man who decided to journey into the Alaskan wilderness had earned four nominations. Of its four nominations, the film, starring Emile Hirsch and directed by Sean Penn garnered the best ensemble cast nomination. Both "No Country for Old Men" and "Michael Clayton" earned three nominations, while "Atonement" and "Sweeney Todd" were surprisingly absent from the list of nominees. Additionally, best ensemble cast nominations also went to "American Gangster," "3:10 to Yuma" and "Hairspray." According to TheEnvelope.com, "SAG pulled some major surprises here. This really shakes up the (Oscar) race." The awards are set to take place January 27th in Los Angeles.

On Saturday night, the stars of Disney's new film, "Enchanted," Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams stepped out at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood for the opening of their film. The film takes a self-deprecating look at the Disney animated genre, with Amy Adams cast as cartoon princess who finds herself in the very real world of New York City inhabited by Dempsey's character. And finding her proved to be quite a feat, with over 300 other girls being considered for the casting of the film before Adams walked in, nailing the earnest tone the film's producers were looking for. According to Adams, these are the most important qualities exhibited by a Disney princess.

"She has to be very full joy, full of song... and have a rebellious streak."

Seriously, guys, that's so me. As long as you replace "joy" with "spite" and that's about right. But they weren't the only stars at the red carpet, a number of Dempsey's "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars showed up to support their castmate at his movie premiere. And if you look very closely, my favorite member of my favorite fake band, The Monkees, was also there. That's right, in case you're wondering what Micky Dolenz is up to these days, we've found him.

As you may have read, the Writer's Guild of America is currently on strike. Wait, should I be on strike? They never actually asked me to join their guild so screw em'! I'm scabby, yo! People on the picket line are peeved because Ellen DeGegeneres' show is still going on. Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, and simpering whitebread jackass Jay Leno have all halted production on their shows to show solidarity. Ellen doesn't want to turn away her studio audience. That's a nice thought, but not a great way to ingratiate yourself with your colleagues.

"I just rolled into NBC Burbank and the picketers are chanting 'Ellen ain't no friend o' mine/ She danced across our picket line!' as her PA's are ferrying audience members through the line. Pretty catchy, especially considering they're largely her writers out there."

The last thing Ellen needs on her plate since the dog fiasco is some "Friday Night Lights" writer getting up in her lesbian grille. Her and Portia need a relaxing weekend off. Give yourself a vacation, and don't have scabs from the janitorial staff write your program.

Blake Lively is crediting her "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-star, America Ferrera, with aiding her in the transition to New York City to begin work on her series, "Gossip Girl." According to Blake:

"She's a mother to me," the 20-year-old told OK! at the Viva La Cure event held at NYCs Sea Grill Restaurant on October 17. "When I decided I was going to move to New York for the show, she sat down with me. I knew I wanted to live on the West Side, and she said, 'No, you need to live on the East Side because of this, this and this.' She makes lists of pros and cons about why I shouldn't get another dog. She's like 'This is why you shouldn't get one.' America's always very nurturing with me, which I appreciate very much. She's awesome!"

Meanwhile, I'm sure that America's very much flattered that Blake is so thankful for her maternal attributes, you know America's got to be thinking--at least somewhat--"Seriously, you couldn't just say big sister? Why do I have to be the mom? Or at least make it out like we're the Judds. Yeah, like why couldn't I be her MILTF? Sigh." Or maybe not.

Here's Ugly Betty accepting a "Latina Leader" award during the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's award ceremony yesterday. This took place in our nation's capital. America Ferrera is a lovely lass, and there's little to no snark here. As long as doesn't start copping an attitude, she'll always be sweet and pretty to me. Seriously, she keeps her legs closed, does her job and she's not puking up sushi on TMZ. And you know if she had kids, she'd get to keep them. Compared to some of these other slutbags, she's Golda Meir.

How I wish it were the entire country addressing these women. Alas, it is but one person, America Ferrera of "Ugly Betty" that I'm talking about. Ferrera recently gave her two cents on what she thinks it the solution to the chaotic lives experienced by so many young Hollywood starlets like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. America clearly believes in the old adage, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop" and had this to say about the situation:

"My advice to anyone who gets into too much trouble is, 'Get a job!' "I can't get into trouble because I'm working all the time...I'm too busy working and focusing on what I'm doing to be out partying."

I can totally see where Ferrera is coming from and that she has a point. The only problem is that these girls don't know how to GET jobs as well as they GIVE them. Hey-OOOOO! Get it? I'm being filthy.
