Of course, when Adam Lambert puts on a suit and tie, it's never as simple of an outfit as it sounds. The American Idol runner-up jazzed up his ensemble with some sparkly earrings, heavy eye make-up and loads of thick rings on his fingers.

His jet-black hair was swooped up into a fancy pompadour for the 2009 American Music Awards, which he accessorized with a wink and a smile.

Adam Lambert, season eight "American Idol" runner-up, is the glam rocker with rule breaking style and crooning vocals. In an interview with Reuters, Lambert details the where "American Idol" exposure has lead him; his music, his way; and his debut album "For Your Entertainment" releasing Nov 23.

Lambert describes "For Your Entertainment" as having throwback elements reminiscent of the 70s and 80s. And although he's known for his classic rock on "Idol", the majority of tracks are commercial pop. That doesn't mean he's giving up the glam rocker inbred in him. He intends on filling the male performer role needed, keeping to theatrical and over the top performances. Just look at the album cover, which he calls a "whole David Bowie-Ziggy Stardust thing where you think he is an alien."

Although he found success in musical theater, making the decision to audition for "Idol" gave him the opportunity he sought. "I wanted to be more active in the creation of what I was performing... I just wanted to make my own thing," said Lambert. Since then he's become a recognizable face, making headlines when he publicly announced he was gay and enjoying the life of a Hollywood.

Still, Lambert claims, "when I'm just living my own day-to-day life, I roll out of bed and I'm a guy." Hmm... a guy who wears eyeliner, four finger rings, blue plaid shirt, black nail polish, and black calf length boots. Blaming it on promotional stuff, Lambert really know how to optimize girl time!

"I'm nice. But I'm weird. Maybe eccentric is a better word. I'll pick that label."

Always the showman, Adam Lambert is making sure that his over-the-top persona shines through on his new music video. These pictures taken from the set show Adam with his trademark spiky black hair, eyeliner and lots and lots of leather for a single off his album, For Your Entertainment.

The American Idol runner-up is taking full advantage of the crisp, southern California fall weather in Los Angeles in his long, leather trenchcoat, which would be murderous to wear any other time of the year.

However, his extras aren't as lucky, showing off more skin than anything else in skimpy outfits that show off a plethora of tattoos and in some cases, everything but the kitchen sink. One outfit that sticks out features a hairless man wearing a chainmail loincloth. I'm just hoping he's taking the necessary precautions to protect his junk, because chainmail is not a particularly forgiving fabric.

With the launch of Kris Allen's first album just around the corner (check out the tracklisting), the American Idol winner is doing rounds of promotion for the CD. Tomorrow you can catch Chris as the main act at the Dolphins' tailgate stage on the Grand Plaza on Sunday, October 25th prior to the Dolphins-Saints game at 4:15 p.m.

"As a HUGE football fan I'm thrilled that the first gig for my band and me is at the Miami/New Orleans tailgate party for this Sunday's game," said Kris Allen.

The track listing for the debut album from season 8 American Idol winner, Kris Allen, has been revealed by Entertainment Weekly. The self-titled album is set to hit stores November 17 and includes thirteen songs.

The singer confirmed the news that he had finished his part in the recording studio to Yahoo! Music in a video interview. Allen explains, "Not that it was a weight, but it's just nice that it's over." Check out the video after the jump.

9 of the songs bear Kris Allen's name as writer or co-writer of the tracks listed and Allen's version of the Kanye West song, "Heartless" is being included as a bonus track.

American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, has played it coy in the past whenever he's been faced with questions about his sexuality. However, his confession to Rolling Stone that he is gay has done little to dissuade his female fans from doing their best to arouse his attention.

Adam tells Details magazine, "It's flattering. I've never had underwear thrown at me before. Clearly there's something significant about it, because there aren't a lot of openly gay men in the entertainment industry."

The singer confesses that sometimes it's gone beyond a simple exchange of underwear. One stunning woman in New Jersey started kissing Lambert on his neck and then, Adam claims, "She gave me a note that said, 'I want to make out with you, here's my number,' and I was like, wow, this is crazy. But again, it's cool. Because yeah, I am gay, but I like kissing women sometimes."

Not only is the Twilight movie still being enthusiastically pored over by obsessed fans and now the film is getting critical recognition. Well, at least the music is. The tween vampire flick's soundtrack is one of a list of nominees for the 37th annual American Music Awards.

And who better to take to the stage for such an occasion than the raven-haired American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert? This will be the first time the singer will be performing since his appearance on the reality TV competition show yet before his album is prepped to drop.

What do ya know, Katrina Darrell, American Idol's "Bikini Girl," has landed Melrose Place actor Victor Webster. The two were seen sharing some sushi and saki in Los Angeles.

Katrina obviously new to the sushi experience, had to be taught by Victor how to work her chopsticks. Later on, Katrina worked Victor's chopstick.

American Idol first season runner-up Justin Guarini tied the knot this past Saturday in his hometown of Dolestown, Pennsylvania. Guarini married his former high school classmate Reina Capodici.

"The wedding went off without a hitch," said Guarini's rep. The nuptials, which took place at a private estate along the Delaware River, featured musical arrangements by the Vitamin String Quartet and included a reading by Capodici's 4-year-old daughter, Lola. Guarini and his new bride wrote their own vows for the "spiritual" service.

Guarini and Capodici, who make their home in Pennsylvania, decided to get married last December when Guarini was in Florida at Disney's EPCOT Center filming his "hosting clips" for the "American Idol Experience" ride.

Wow, still doing the American Idol thing. Whatever pays the bills I guess?
