Janice Dickinson On Paulina Porizkova's Departure From ANTM

In the wake of the news that Paulina Porizkova will not be returning to America's Next Top Model next cycle as judge, Janice Dickinson gave her two cents on the situation, which she knows all too well.

The similarly jilted former ANTM judge was blunt in her appraisal of the situation. Dickinson told MTV News, "Tyra rolls like that. She likes to fire people just about when she's promising them large amounts of money, [then] they get the ax, like I did. And then she takes the money and runs."

Those are harsh words indeed, but Tyra's just lucky Janice didn't swat her to death with her scarf the last time they met.

Paulina Porzikova Will Not Continue As 'Top Model' Judge

America's Next Top Model judge Paulina Porzikova seems to have fallen out of fashion with the show's executive producer Tyra Banks. When Porzikova chatted with talk show host Craig Ferguson on the Late, Late Show, she revealed that she was in Los Angeles, "Because I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday."

Porzikova explained that she was told she was being let go in order to "cut some fat." In addition, the 80s-era supermodel added, "So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn't aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."

Well, she had to know it would happen sooner or later. There can only be one queen bee on that show, honey.

2009 GLAAD Media Awards: Tyra Banks Is Excellent In Media

Talk show host and reality television producer Tyra Banks received the Excellence in Media Award, presented to her by American Idol star Clay Aiken. You know those two were probably inseparable, talking wigs all night long. But jokes aside, Tyra looked hot with her long, super-straight hair and tailored tuxedo. Very sexy talk show host, Ms. Banks.

T.R. Knight was also all dressed up to present the Vito Russo Award to my personal financial hero, Suze Orman. As he always does at these events, he looked tiny and well-dressed in his tux. Go Suze!

Vanessa Williams, Michael Urie, Judith Light and Ana Ortiz represented for the Ugly Betty cast while their co-star America Ferrera stepped out at the Kids' Choice Awards. For a bunch of people starring in a show with "ugly" in the title, they sure do look consistently pretty.

America's Next Top Modeling Is Dangerous

A casting call for America's Next Top Model in midtown New York City turned chaotic when someone started yelling, "There's a bomb!" A riot ensued, which resulted in injuries for six women. Screaming and running in heels, the contestants tried to leap over barricades intended to separate the crowd from street traffic.

According to a witness who talked with the New York Daily News, "The girls were running like it was 9/11 part two. I feared for my life." To be fair, they probably assumed it was an impromptu challenge by host and creator Tyra Banks. Cant you just hear her saying, "You never know when you might be on the catwalk at the same time as there's a bomb threat. You have to be able to work it. One time, when I was at a fashion show in the Gaza Strip..." and well, you get the idea.

I'll be the first to admit that I think the expression "fashion disaster" is thrown around way to easily, but I'm pretty sure that's the only way to describe what happened here.

'America's Next Top Model Obsessed' Launches On Oxygen

Poor little cracked-out Jael Strauss showed her ass on the red carpet to launch of ANTM Obsessed on Oxygen. Seriously, of all the sad characters to have walked the halls of Tyra Banks' dormitory for model wannabes, Jael seems to be the most tragic at the moment. Honey, at least wear some panties that contrast with your skin, if you know you're going to be flashing.

Jaslene Gonzalez actually looked pretty good. When she looks good, she looks like Janice Dickinson in her prime and when she looks bad, she looks like JDick now.

OK, Cycle 2 winner Yoanna House looks like she has officially gone crazy. Between the clumpy mascara, circles of blush on her cheeks and her glazed eyes, I'm starting to wonder if maintaining a size 2 physique hasn't started to wear on a the girl's psyche.

Radiating a glow over the whole proceedings is the raspberry, faux-wrap dress clad Tyra Banks, whose glorious cascading waves of caramel hair, perfectly-placed false eyelashes and well-practiced smile refused to go unrecognized.

It's a testament to her that even when Ms. Jay Alexander shows up wearing Mickey Mouse ears, Tyra's still the most striking presence on the carpet.

Heidi Klum Searches For Germany's Next Top Model

Going international with her status as a reality television fashion icon, Heidi Klum attends a red carpet event for the series Germany's Next Top Model. The Project Runway host hit up the Do Brazil bar and restaurant in Munich, Germany for a photocall for the fourth season of the show.

Having the show in German and not hosted by Tyra Banks must make it an entirely different animal completely. Someone please tell me she at least has two men who each go by Fräulein J and...well, how would one say "fierce" in German?

She better at least have a respectable wig collection she employs during taping.

America's Next Top Model: Slow Boat To Amsterdam

Previously - Sheena got low, swept the floor with it and went home. Elina got even more irritating. I liked her better when she was more controlled and spoke less.

Elina mentions her "stiffness" and Marjorie finds that she's not trying. In fact, she feels like Elina thinks she's doing everything perfectly. Did Marjorie's French-osity prevent her from noticing this quality of Elina's before?

Samantha is doing the Running Man (I hate that) around the house because she's happy to still be in Amsterday and have the intellect of a Cub Scout. McKey is cooking in her Renfair dress, it's like she's late for the jousting so got dressed before making dinner.

America's Next Top Model: Lesbian Bath Moment In Amsterdam

Previous - Song of the South Joslyn got booted. After yakking up in a trash barrel. Elina and Marjorie formed a cool kids/victims club around being European. Sheena told them what's what. Oh, and the girls are off to Amsterdam for some kind bud. Stony, man.

The girls run home chanting "AMSTERDAM!", hopefully before Joslyn's left. McKey is sick of the middle and wants to be on top. She's really taken the ANTM theme song to heart. Samantha's really excited about hash brownies. "We're going to Holland, see ya later, California!" Like Cali is some sort of dust bowl of misery. Please, it's the land of dreams. A dream called Pink's hot dogs and that guy in the horrible Spider-Man costume on Sunset Blvd. that charges for photos.

America's Next Top Model: East Vs. West

Previously - Tyra signed her "signature" on the girls' bodies. Somehow, Lauren Brie Cheese got tossed off despite her kickass photos. This is probably so Tyra can exploit Majorie's awkward Gallicness some more.

LA Women! Sheena talks about her bottom twoness. Marjorie is now parlaying the discovery of her loser French attitude (hey, Paulina said it, I didn't) into some sort of counseling gig as she tries to comfort Elina's tears not being enough for the judges last panel It was kind of a kick in the animal activist when Elina broke through her steely Ukranian bisexual front to emit a single tear and she was told that her breakthrough was for naught. It's even worse when you look so pathetic that even Marjorie is pitying you.

Project Runway: Drinks On This Brotha!

Previously - Say bye-bye to Jerell and whatever fabric and costume jewels revolution he was trying to start with that wedding dress. Don't even start me on that flowers on the head situation. A women's going to win this one and we're all praying it ain't that rockabilly bitch ingrate Kenley.

It's 3 days until Bryant Park and couldn't you just pee your lady drawers in anticipation? No? Yeah, no kidding - this season was about as exciting as the time Clay Aiken came out. We knew that Ronald McDonald's playground voyeur brother was a big queen, we know Leeanimal is going to win and there's just no magic left. And it's like Lifetime is going to lift this show back up to its rightful place in the reality tv show firmanent. They have Rumer f*cking Willis guest-starring on Army Wives. This is not a network you can run to for bold ideas and strength.
