Angelina Jolie & Jennifer Aniston Are Best Box Office Babes

The women occupying the number one and two spots or Hollywood's list of top earning actresses are none other than Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his current squeeze, Angelina Jolie.

Jolie narrowly squeezed out Aniston from the number one spot, raking in $27 million in the past year, while the longtime television star took home an impressive $25 million. Profit sharing in her action film, Wanted, as well as a hefty upfront sum for her upcoming movie, Salt, ensured Angie's place in the top spot.

However, Jennifer's no slouch either. The romantic comedy regular saw an impressive take-in from her role in Marley and Me, as well as for her future project, The Baster. Forbes.com added, "Aniston also still earns money from (reruns of TV series) Friends and she gets a nice paycheck shilling for Glaceau's SmartWater."

And Jennifer's showing no signs up letting up, as you can see her hard at work on the set for her current film, Bounty Hunter. When that one's not working, she's working out. Regardless, pesky calories are always being burned.

Angelina Jolie Speaks On Behalf Of Refugees

Actress, activist and charitable giver Angelina Jolie appeared today alongside UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres to call on the world to recognize millions of victims of conflict around the world not as a burden but as a potential gift.

As an American, she said, "I know the strength that diversity has given my country -- a country built by what some would now dismiss as asylum-seekers and economic migrants -- and I believe we must persuade the world that refugees must not be simply viewed as a burden. They are the survivors. And they can bring those qualities to the service of their communities and the countries that shelter them."

"The refugees I have met and spent time with have profoundly changed my life, "Jolie added. "Today, on World Refugee Day, I want to thank them for letting me into their lives."

Jolie was supposed to meet with Hilary Clinton today, however the Secretary of State fell and fractured her right elbow. She'll now have more time to take Maddox and Pax sightseeing in Washington D.C.

Hillary Clinton Breaks Elbow & Cancels Angelina Jolie Meeting

You would think that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is engaged in the same kind of on-screen action hero antics as Angelina Jolie, since an unexpected injury prevented her from meeting the A-list actress.

A statement from Hillary's chief of staff Cheryl Mills said in a statement, "On the way to the White House late this afternoon, Secretary Clinton fell and suffered a right elbow fracture."

Before this, Clinton had been scheduled to meet up with Angie to present awards at the American Foreign Service Association for a World Refugee event.

Lucky for Jolie, however, she brought her own entourage to keep her company. The humanitarian star arrived in D.C. with Pax and Maddox Jolie-Pitt by her side. They're like her mini-me Secret Service.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Give Away Another Million

This time the winning cause were the aid refugees in Pakistan. The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has pledged $1 million to aid refugees in Pakistan, where continued violence in neighboring Afghanistan and the resurgence of the Taliban have driven millions of people in the region from their homes. Last week the Brad Pitt family donated $1 million to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at St. John's.

Jolie will talk about her work in aiding refugees Thursday when she and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton celebrate World Refugee Day in Washington D.C.

I'm happy that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live by my motto, "if you have it, give it."

Megan Fox Thinks Comparisons To Angelina Jolie Are Silly

Transformers star Megan Fox is flattered that people are comparing her to Angelina Jolie, but doesn't think it's a very accurate portrayal. She shrugs it off by asking Entertainment Weekly, "Because I have tattoos and dark hair and I was in an action movie?"

The 23-year-old Tennessee native expressed her admiration for the Changeling actress in her interview, telling the mag, "She always seems otherworldly in her power and her confidence."

Fox adds, "I'm sure she has no idea who I am. But if I were her, I'd be like, 'Who the f--- is this little bulls--- brat who was in Transformers that's going to be the next me?' I don't want to meet her. I'd be embarrassed."

I tend to go back and forth on this one, but that last bit kind of endeared her to me. We have such an on-again, off-again one-sided relationship, me and Megs.

Angelina Jolie Calls For More Action In Darfur

The most powerful woman in show business, Angelina Jolie, calling for more action to end the crisis in Darfur. The actress and activist has written an article for Time magazine. She writes:

"The evidence the prosecutor has presented is clear and compelling," Jolie writes, pointing out that "millions of people have been displaced" and "hundreds of thousands have been killed."

Since Jolie's first visit to Chad to visit refugees from Darfur, she notes that "nothing changed." [Time]

Angelina Jolie Most Powerful Celebrity, Not Splitting From Brad Pitt

Forbes has come out with its annual Celebrity 100 List and pouty-lipped actress Angelina Jolie has found herself in the top spot for 2009, knocking out Oprah Winfrey from the top spot.

The talk show host was named number one two years in a row, but this year, it was Jolie's international fame that rocketed her past Winfrey, who grossed an impressive $275 million in 2008 over Angie's $27 million.

As for her personal life, a rep for Jolie and partner Brad Pitt has denied the report made by the National Enquirer that the couple are in the process of making a split "official." The claim is "not true," according to their mouthpiece. Of course, how could they split? Angie's so powerful, she probably has her own gravitational pull at this point.

Winona Ryder Confirms 'Heathers' Sequel, Denies Angelina Jolie Feud

Fans of the 80s cult classic Heathers should be excited to hear that the star of the film, Winona Ryder, has confirmed that a sequel is in the works.

Ryder admitted, "Whatever you hear, there is a sequel in the works. I swear to God. But for some reason the writer Dan Waters and director Michael Lehman don't want to talk about it. I've been wanting to do a sequel forever. There is a story, and Christian [Slater] has agreed to come back as a kind of Obi-Wan character."

Additionally, Winona cleared up any rumors that she's ever been jealous of Girl, Interrupted co-star Angelina Jolie, who won an Oscar for the Best Supporting Actress category. Winona said, "When it came out, people almost felt bad for me. But I expected it all along. I was really happy with the film, and really proud of it." Look, guys, Winona's just happy to be working.
