Brad Pitt's Happy To Be Starring In A Winner

OK, well The Curious Case of Benjamin Button hasn't won any Oscars yet, but the film is right behind Titanic and All About Eve in terms of all-time most Oscar nominations for a single movie.

With 13 nods to its credit, Benjamin Button needed only one more to have landed itself in a three-way tie with the other two films. At a press conference in Tokyo (he brought his brood along with him to Japan), Brad Pitt admitted that the critical recognition had him "thrilled."

"It means that more people get to see it and I think it's a worth film that deserves that kind of viewing--over and over again," Brad told the media. Hey, pipe down with your marketing. In case you hadn't hear, there's a recession going on. We can't afford to be going to the movies three times a day! The correct answer was, "It's an honor just to be nominated."

Brad Pitt And Angelina Grace Japan With Their Brood

The Touched By The Hand Of God family arrived at Japan's Narita International Airport yesterday and proud parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were photographed holding the dual beauties that are twin brother and sister Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. Genuflect!

This is a total ad for global harmony. Stop your wars! You've got Maddox working the mess out of that winter babushka thingy, Pax looking very Prada model with the short hair, peacoat, scarf and biker boots (that's a stylish five-year-old), Shiloh looking a little lost and hoping Angie doesn't forget she exists and those beautiful twins - the gleam in Angie's eyes!

"Former" stoner Brad and Angelina are in Japan to promote their latest films - The Curious Case of Bejamin Button and Changeling. They were reportedly met by screaming crowds at the airport. Angie says that the kids are used to constantly being on the go. Have they really asked them? "You go head, Maw, I'm going to hang at the chalet with the nanny." You know how Zahara rolls. She's the one they're sending to "talk to" that bodyguard.

"Our kids are always packing. They like to pack; it's a game in our house. It can get very hard trying to find 20 minutes to close your eyes if you've been up since four in the morning. We travel so much, we never have to adjust. We change school time to four in the afternoon in we have to," Jolie recently said.

Never fear, they are returning to the US for the Oscars next month (they're both nominated). You will be able to tell they're in the country by the stigmata you receive.

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt: 2009 SAG Awards Red Carpet

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit the red carpet at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards which were held tonight at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Angelina wore a blue satin gown from Max Azria Spring 2009 collection, while Brad Pitt opted for the standard black tuxedo sans tie for a more modern look. The couple looked stunning as usual.

Brad Pitt Doesn't Google Himself, Angie's Bodyguard To Tell All

Not wanting to hear all the nasty, evil things that us Internet gossipmongers have to say about him, Brad Pitt claims that he has never typed his name into the monster search engine. Pitt maintains that part of the reason is that he's not very tech savvy.

"Dear God. No. Never. First of all, I don't really know how to operate a computer," he said when asked if he was a self-Googler.  And he's really not going to want to read anything after the reported tell-all book comes out by a former member of the couple's security detail.

In Touch claims that Angelina Jolie's former body guard, Brett, never signed a confidentiality agreement during his time of employment. Brett, who was fired last year, will dish "all the sordid details of how they (Pitt and Jolie) got together while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston," claims a snitch.

Dayum. This sounds like future required reading.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt: Moving To NY?

The international jet-set A-list couple comprised of Oscar-nominated actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are tramping all around the world to promote Brad's film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

But it sounds as if the twosome is planning to lay down roots, once again, in a new locale. This time, rumor has it that Brangelina are planning on relocating their brood to the ritzy neighborhood of Lloyd Harbor, NY.

Real Estalker reports that the Jolie-Pitts are making the move for Angie to film her next movie Edwin A. Salt nearby. Filming should last several months, so it's no telling where these gypsies will traipse off to next.

Angelina Jolie Reacts To Her Nomination

Angelina Jolie, who already has one Oscar under her lithe, alabaster arm, has given a statement in regards to her Oscar nomination for Best Actress this morning for her role in the Changeling.

She called it a "a privilege beyond any expectation."

"Working with Clint Eastwood was a reward in itself that will last me a lifetime," she said. "It has been an exceptional year for acting, and I am honored to be in the company of these talented actors whose performances all deserve this recognition."

Jolie plays a single mother in 1920s Los Angeles whose little boy is kidnapped. The incredibly shifty cops then gave her a kid back that wasn't hers, and she ended up being institutionalized while trying to find out what happened to her real son. It's based on a true story, which is fairly horrific. Yeah, uh, this isn't my kid. I mean, he's cute and all but this isn't like replacing an ottoman or a parrot, assholes.

Angie, who took it to a new level recently in Berlin with her recent 60s cocktail party hostess doing the frug hair and exotic single earring, previously won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Girl, Interrupted in 1999. To celebrate, she made out with her brother.

Brad Pitt "Was" Into Smoking Weed

This dude who previously owned what your parents used to call a "head shop" back in the 60s says that Oscar nominee Brad Pitt used to spark it up all the time. Duh. How else do you cope with having that icy bitch who rides the sleigh in Narnia and feeds Edmund Turkish Delight as a companion? She's even starting to look EXACTLY like what you imagined after reading the C.S. Lewis novel.

"It was no secret Brad liked to smoke pot. He was so open and honest about it. It seemed to me all he wanted to do was smoke weed, make movies and go to the beach," Craig Z. Rudin, former proprietor of 2000 BC said. "He'd come into the shop all the time. He came in once and was excited about smoking with one of his very big-name co-stars. 'We blaze (smoke pot) every day in his trailer,' Brad boasted. He had a huge grin on his face," Rudin said.

This is probably the least shocking news since we discovered Eddie Murphy liked girls with something extra. Anyway, another source said that Bradley is off the green.

"His whole life has changed since he stopped smoking pot. He found he was thinking clearer and and feeling better."

Let's call bullshit on that one. This guy has a hydro set-up in New Orleans AND France and probably has minions courier the good shit to wherever he's filming. You don't father a village sober. Angie's pissed because the pillows in the One World, One People, All Angie chalet's rumpus room smell like hash bricks all the time. You can't tell me this dude isn't stoned. It's why his fly is down.

Oscar Nominations Are In!

The 81st Annual Oscar Nominations are finally in!

No huge stop-the-presses surprises here. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is the clear favorite with 13 nominations, including, yes, an Oscar nomination for Brad Pitt. Keeping Brad company: Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Frank Langella and Richard Jenkins.

Brad's lady pal in crime, Angelina Jolie, was nominated for best actress, alongside Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Melissa Leo, and Kate Winslet.

Heath Ledger kept up his posthumous streak with a nomination for supporting actor in Dark Knight while Penelope Cruz and Amy Adams were both nominated in the supporting actress category.

Indie favorite Slumdog Millionaire also did incredibly well with 10 nominations as did The Dark Knight with 8 nominations.

Oh, Christ, people are running out of questions to ask during press conferences. Just focus on the moustache or just ask anything you ever wanted to know about Angelina Jolie (like - "what's that hair doin'?"). Sure, you'll get tossed out or they will find your body in a sewage processing plant a week later, but it will be a brief respite from the insipid hamster wheel of questions posed to this dude. Brad Pitt is scared of burning to death and suffocating. Who isn't?

Pitt is in Berlin talking about his baby with the old face movie and was asked about death.

"I'm not so afraid of getting old, I'm more afraid of how I'll go," he said. "Fire and tight spaces don't appeal. A shark would be interesting."

Yeah, getting my flesh torn from me while being yanked underwater and drowned sounds keen. Didn't this bitch see Deep Water? Here's Brad at the afterparty at Kaisersaal at Potsdamer Platz. He looks like a befuddled exchange student.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Toast To 'Benjamin Buttons'

In Germany to promote the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hit up the Vau restaurant in Berlin for dinner after the film opening. It's clear that Brad cracked open one of Germany's many fine brews of beer and said "Prost!" since he left the restaurant with a bottle of the stuff still in hand.

Meanwhile, Angie looked happy enough on the red carpet for the Berlin premiere, but in a few of these shots, it would seem that the mother of six was over it and ready to head home to her multicultural brood. Gotta love that look of death she gives when she feels so compelled. Girlfriend could reheat leftovers just by glaring at them.
