Adam Lambert Licks Catherine Hardwicke: 2009 Young Hollywood Awards

A good time was had by all at the Hollywood Life Media's Young Hollywood Awards sponsored by Sebastian. Here's gothic singer Adam Lambert showing Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke some vampire love.

In these photos of the Hollywood Life's 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards from Wire Image, we get to take a peek at the pressroom and stage at the event. Katharine McPhee was stunning in a strapless red dress and it looks like her bodyguard Quween was off for the evening. Good for her. She works too hard.

AnnaLynne McCord had a decidedly classic Hollywood look with her soft blonde hair in curls and a pair of bright red lips. This might be my favorite look on her yet.

Kellan Lutz: 2009 Young Hollywood Awards

At the Hollywood Life Media's Young Hollywood Awards sponsored by Sebastian, a gaggle of young, hot celebrities flocked to the event for the evening. One of these was Kellan Lutz, rumored to be dating 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord, who was honored as Superstar of Tomorrow.

The couple arrived at the awards five minutes apart from one another. Their efforts to appear unattached weren't too convincing, though, since they were never more than 20 feet from each other.

At the event, Kellan was a fan of the Transformers vintage tees. Can't wait to see him out in one of them.

AnnaLynne McCord's Hair At The 8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

At the 8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord showed up at the event with a hell of a hairdo. It looks like at any moment, a giant butterfly might break out of that cocoon atop her head. And of course, I mean Mariah Carey.

Speaking of hair, rapper Eve was rocking some long, blond tresses at the event and an electric blue dress. Speaking of hair, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford had an abundance of it from the neck up, between his scruff, eyebrows and tousled hairdo.

To top it off, former boybander Lance Bass was cute with a bright pink tie and a smile.

Denzel Washington Helms Premiere Of 'The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3'

John Travolta, who is not yet ready to return to the red carpet after the untimely death of his son, was nowhere to be seen at the premiere of his new film The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.

Instead, it was the film's other big star Denzel Washington who made the rounds with press on the red carpet. The Oscar winner said of his co-star, "He is trying to work it out. It's a tough situation."

Also a tough situation? Trying to maintain a semblance of dignity on this particular red carpet. Tommy Davidson felt the need to expose his chest while Bai Ling looked fully dressed, but as always, I feel like we're always one false move away from seeing nipple on that one.

Gilles Marini Hits Red Carpet Day After Surgery - Remains Of The Day

Despite having minor surgery on his shoulder yesterday, Dancing With the Stars runner-up Gilles Marini managed to make it on to the red carpet at the LG Xenon Splash Pool Party. Marini posted tweeted about it, "On my way to the hospital. I am relax and hope that all will be fine. It's my number 15 when it comes to surgery. Love G."

What a trooper! I guess he really wanted that LG Xenon phone.

CW Tween Stars Get Sleek & Sophisticated For Upfront Party

The young stars of 90210, Gossip Girl and the new faces from the revamped Melrose Place are in full-on promotional blitz mode for the CW Upfronts.

After their work was done on the red carpet, the cast flitted over to the Gramercy Park Hotel to celebrate. Pete Wentz showed up to support his wife Ashlee Simpson in her new role on Melrose Place. Little world traveler Bronx Mogwli Wentz opted to stay in for the evening.

Most of the kids kept it simple except for rock star-in-training Taylor Momsen, whose shocking blond hair, porcelain skin, bright red lips and sparkly black dress was pretty hard to miss.

'Melrose Place' Cast Turns Up At CW Network Upfronts

Officially stepping out as the newest members of the CW network family, the cast of the new Melrose Place had a coming-out of sorts on the red carpet. Leading the pack was former Seventh Heaven star Ashlee Simpson, who's returning to the network in this new iteration of the 90s TV soap.

Also, the original redheaded vixen from the first version of the series, Laura Leighton, was flanked by her younger costars who she'll end up teaching a thing or two about devilish plotting.

If someone doesn't end up in the pool in her sister's wedding dress by the end of season one, I'll be sorely disappointed. Let the scheming and double-crossing begin!

'90210': School's Out For Summer! Except For Tristant Wilds

The young stars of 90210 have a whole summer of hiatus to look forward to after wrapping this season of shooting for the CW series.

That is, unless, they're able to get cast in summer projects like star Tristan Wilds. Wilds will be starring in the war drama Red Tails, written by John Ridley and executive produced by George Lucas.

As for AnnaLynne McCord, it's not clear if she'll manage to land herself a part in Twilight, but at least she's doing her best to try and get noticed here on the red carpet with her sister Angel McCord. Is it just me, or are those two (and Rachel Eggold) wearing lingerie as dresses? Oh, kids these days...

Did AnnaLynne McCord Skip Charity Event To Party With Kellan Lutz?

At a Habitat for Humanity event, 90210 stars Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, Dustin Milligan and Adam Gregory all dutifully showed up to volunteer. Gregory told E!, "AnnaLynne [McCord] isn't here because she isn't feeling well."

However, it sounds as if these two didn't do a good job coordinating their stories because AnnaLynne was spotted at the 24th birthday party for her boyfriend(?) Kellan Lutz in Vegas at at Privé in Planet Hollywood's Hotel and Casino.

A rep for the actress claims she wasn't scheduled to attend the charity event and insisted that his client would "be going to New Orleans in the next two weeks with the Bernard Project rebuilding houses in the Lower 9th ward." We'll believe it when we see it.
