Anne Hathaway, perhaps still nursing a broken heart over that thief guy she was into and looking to bathe herself in some charity to get over him, teamed with Netflix on Saturday to help out at the Kids Cafe in Harlem, NYC for the company's Holiday Gift Program to raise money for Feeding America.

Not only that, but she's joining other celebs such as Cosmo subscription canceller Scarlett Johansson, family man Ben Affleck and shockingly, the Grinch known as Jessica Alba, in creating special artwork to package Netflix gift subscriptions in for the holiday season which will also benefit Feeding America. Nice work.

Anne looks sweet as sassafrass here, and she's restoring the karmic balance for her ex-lover Raffaello Follieri's crimes in a way.

-At the Cracked X-mas Fundraiser in Los Angeles, a charity auction for a date with Anne Hathaway resulted in a $12,000 winning bid for a night out with the Rachel Getting Married actress. As the dollar amount kept increasing, the star told the crowd, "I'm blushing. Wow, I feel really good right now."

-Perez Hilton has a book coming out. We're guessing it's a picture book with some cleverly drawn squiggles. A perfect holiday present for those friends and family who think reading looks like fun, but are intimidated by all the thinking that usually goes along with it.

-An arrest warrant has been issued by Beverly Hills police for Shaha Mishaal Adham in the shooting of Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott, who remains in critical condition at a hospital in L.A. Not yet in custody is the other suspect in the case, Brian Scofield.

Independent film veterans Jason Bateman and Sandra Oh took to the podium for the announcement of the Independent Spirit Awards nominations. The biggest prize of best feature is up for grabs by either Rachel Getting Married (starring Anne Hathaway), The Wrestler (starring Mickey Rourke), Frozen River, Wendy and Lucy (starring Michelle Williams) and Ballast.

Rachel Getting Married has earned the most nominations for the event with a whopping six to its credit. It would be nice for Mickey Rourke to get some kudos for his performance in The Wrestler, about an aging wrestler attempting to make a comeback. He seems like a guy who could always stand to hear some good news.

Anne Hathaway, after what some may call an awkward end to her relationship with Raffaello Follieri, is rumored to have found a new man - one less likely to spend his days making license plates and showering with his pants on.

Life & Style claims the actress is tingly for 27-year-old actor Adam Shulman, famous for his star-turning role as Enos in The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.

The pair was caught spending time together last week in New Orleans, at a screening of Hathaway's new drama Rachel Getting Married.

"We met through mutual friends," Adam told the tabloid. "I came to support Anne. We've never been to New Orleans before -- it's our first time."

The fact that Shulman was in a relationship at the time they met apparently did not deter her. Or him.

"He was actually seeing someone else," the actress is said to have told pals at a post-premiere dinner  "I thought I was going to have to step back." Hathaway's rep is denying that the Life & Style report is accurate, but that kinda takes the fun out of this story, so I suggest you ignore it.The rep, that is, not the story.   

Seriously. How does corruption seem to follow this one like spaghetti sauce on a crisp white button-up Oxford? After doing her best to shake her association to convicted felon ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway is now being linked to a voting scam.

The NY Times reports that the Devil Wears Prada actress was in the process of filming a PSA for a group now accused of filing false registration in Virginia, Ohio, New York and Florida when she noticed that her name wasn't present on the rolls.

Like many in the target demographic for the organization, Anne had signed up online and her application had not been processed. The group's executive director Heather Smith personally searched for Anne's information and came across 40,000 unprocessed applications while doing so.

This year, more than 2.5 million individuals downloaded registration forms from the syndicate so God only knows how many voters are affected.

Sheesh, Anne. I know some people have bad luck and all, but I'm getting a little concerned that she's going to end up in a Kool-Aid drinking cult. She's impressionable, that one.

-Jamie Lynn Spears and mom/grandma Lynne Spears ran some errands with taskmaster Maddie Aldridge. The color of the day was pink, with three generations of the Spears women sporting a bright shade of their signature shade. They'd leave Maddie at home, but then the little girl would just go crazy on Amazon.com.

-Anne Hathaway's Italian businessman ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, ended up getting four and a half years in prison at the insistence of the federal prosecution. The defense unsuccessfully argued for a three-year prison stay, per his plea deal. Follieri delivered a statement, "What I did was wrong and there is no point in making excuses." He added, "I just hope that someday those who have been hurt by my actions will forgive me."

-Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are expecting twins. Wow. That sperm of Charlie's really does deliver. No wonder his ex-wife Denise Richards was so keen to get her hands on some. I'm not sure, because I've been living under a rock these past two years, but didn't her mom die of cancer?

What gets you over having your boyfriend turn out to be a lying criminal? A new boyfriend! Anne Hathaway was at the London premiere of her new flick, Rachel Getting Married, and told the press that she's met someone new. No word on who he is. "You know when sometimes you don't know someone very well - you'll
probably never see them again - but you just meet them and you're like
'WOW, you really have it going on'?," she asked rhetorically. Yes, yes, I do. His name was Joey Fatone.

Mary-Kate Olsen was in LA yesterday when her friend that was driving the car she was in backed into the car of an El Pollo Loco delivery driver. The paps converged on her ass during the insurance info trade-off and the press-shy little troll girl finally flipped her shit. "Get out of the f--king window. Are you kidding me? You guys are..." she yelled and a pap mooed at her. That guy's funny. Make some popcorn and check the video.



Flirty actor Terrence Howard told NPR that finding out he had been replaced by Don Cheadle in the Iron Man sequel was "the surprise of a lifetime." "I read something in the trades implicating that it was about money or
something, but apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren't
worth the paper that they're printed on, sometimes," he said.

It was a rainy day at the Vue Cinema where Anne Hathaway showed up wearing a big smile and a long blue gown for London's BFI 52nd Film Festival. When asked about her love life at the premiere of her film Rachel Getting Married, the Devil Wears Prada actress said, "I'm still trying to figure out whether I believe in marriage... whether there is one person for everyone."

It's no surprise that she's feeling iffy about the idea of a relationship, since federal prosecutors are requesting that her ex Raffaello Follieri be sentenced to more than four years behind bars for fraud charges.

A memo sent to a federal judge from the prosecution said, "Follieri was motivated by greed. He used his considerable charm and skill to trick people into giving him their money."

But Anne has been hard at work, distancing herself from her Italian ex-boyfriend and I have to say the amazing blue dress she's wearing is doing a good job of distracting me from his legal woes.

-With the MTV staple set to go off the air in November, Beyoncé Knowles will help end the series with a bang by performing on "Total Finale Live" on November 16 at 8 p.m. The singer has yet to decide which song she will perform for TRL's upcoming farewell.

-Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is asking for just three years in prison to pay for his crimes versus the four (and possibly more) years he agreed to spend behind bars per his original plea deal. The Italian businessman will be sentenced on Oct. 23.

-Dennis Leary writes about autism in his new book Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid claiming that the disease is being diagnosed in the children of "inattentive mothers and competitive dads," when Leary believes simply that the kids are "stupid," "lazy," "or both."

Fair-skinned and doe-eyed, Anne Hathaway makes a logical addition to Tim Burton's team of actors for his film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Hathaway will take on the role of the White Queen, playing opposite Helena Bonham Carter, who plays her evil sister the Red Queen.

The White Queen is "a benevolent monarch who is deposed and banished by her sister," according to comingsoon.net. So this time around, Anne will get to play the good sibling, as opposed to her most recent role in Rachel Getting Married.

The film also stars frequent Burton collaborator Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Australian actress Mia Wasikowska in the lead role of Alice.
