Little Bronx Mowgli Wentz is getting to be such a big boy. Here he is, accompanying his Melrose Place star mommy, Ashlee Simpson, on a coffee run to Starbucks in Beverly Hills.

In fact, the little guy is getting so big, that it looks like Ashlee was having a heck of a time, squeezing her son into his car seat.

As for Ashlee, she's looking super-trim in a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. Next time, let's hope she picks up a croissant or a muffin.

Here's what Laura Leighton is thinking about right now. THANK GOD my character was killed off so I don't have to work with Ashlee Simpson. Hands down, Simpson is one of the worst things about the new version of Melrose Place.

My favorite Ashlee moments are her "reaction" shots. When she doesn't say anything, but she either needs to acted scared, shocked, disgusted or sexy. Those need to be made into a gag reel. Precious, precious moments.

If you remember, until Heather Locklear arrived on the original series, it was pretty bland. Do you think Heather can add some juice into the new version of the show, or is it doomed because of Simpson's lack of acting abilities?

Sure, you may have been famous first Jessica Simpson, but right now it's your little sister Ashlee Simpson who looks like she knows what she's doing. Ashlee told Daily Fill that Jessica is just aching for a baby of her own. "She's always saying, 'Oh, I want a baby!'"

Ashlee, husband Pete Wentz and their little boy Bronx looked like the perfect little family as they hit up the park, so it's really no wonder Jessica wants her life. Does Ashlee envy her sister's current life? "I really don't." Ouch! It's a good thing Jessica's got that new modeling career to worry about, or that might really have hurt. It probably still hurts even with the modeling and lingerie.

Ashlee, who is currently promoting and shooting the new version of Melrose Place, says that having a baby really made her grown up. "Being a mom's so empowering and incredible. I'm one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that's where the best moments come from. The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Your body is changing, and it's such an amazing time to feel that connection."

Well now isn't that precious Ashlee. I hope that Jessica finds happiness soon. Obviously lots of guys want her, so I just want her to try settling down again and have a very entertaining baby. And not name it something weird. I really just want her to have a baby and name it like John or something. Thanks.

In Los Angeles, Fall Out Boy band member, Pete Wentz, suited up for a Los Angeles Dodgers game to toss out the first pitch to Dodgers catcher Brad Ausmus.

The musician then spent the duration of the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Dugout Club with Panic at the Disco singer Brendon Urie.

Meanwhile, his wife, Ashlee Simpson, trekked to the other side of the country for an appearance on the MTV show It's on with Alexa Chung. With her long, red hair and a big smile on her face, she looks more than ready to talk about her new show, Melrose Place. As long as it's not with Perez Hilton.

Melrose Place is coming back with a vengeance! In celebration of the forthcoming premiere of the revamped series (the show premiere's on September 8th), the stars of the show, plus a few of the other CW stars, hit the red carpet for the Melrose Place Premiere Party.

David Cassidy's daughter, Katie Cassidy, who plays Ella on the show, was a standout on the red carpet in her deep blue sparkly number.

With word that Heather Locklear may be returning to the series, I'm betting that Melrose Place just may outshine The CW's 90210 reboot.

Celebrities always try and keep their face looking fabulous. After all, it's the thing that most people recognize and it's what is going to show up on a huge movie screen. So it's no wonder that they go to great lengths to protect it.

One great way to protect against the harmful rays of the sun? Hats! Celebrities love hats. Wearing hats, buying hats, eating things from hats...probably not the last one, but you get the pictures. Hats are often paired with sunglasses to prevent the paparazzi, but as well as know that usually never works.

We've compiled a list for you of some of our celebrities looking fabulous with a brim atop their head. My personal favorite is the picture of George Hamilton. Yes, he's in the snow, but I love seeing the tanned man, in the cold, wearing a hat.

Although she looked the epitome of sweet perfect at the InStyle Magazine summer soiree, Ashlee Simpson is always such a nice girl, but don't mess with her or you'll get an entirely different side. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton had find out the hard away about Ashlee's angry side when he posted a story on Ashlee getting into a drunken fight with husband Pete Wentz.

When Perez accused Ashlee of being "completely wasted" and questioned whether or not she and Pete were gonna make it, she took to her Twitter account to clear things up. Before tweeting Perez, Ashlee wrote to Pete, "I had so much fun with ur parents last night. Thanx for dedicating the DJ set to me. Love you more magic. I miss u already." As soon as she was done with that, the claws came out for Perez. "When all you do is make up untrue stories -- look in the mirror. Do you even feel human? Karma is a bitch. Your story is WAY off."

Perez seemed unfazed and responded with, "I don't wanna name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels & Kings. I'm not wrong." Ashlee still wasn't having it, but managed to get the last word in, "WRONG. My husband is an amazing DJ and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur own life."

Ashlee didn't let the fight spoil her night though. She was joined by some of our favorite people at the event including Twilight stars Noot Seear, Jack Houston and Kellan Lutz. Wait, shouldn't Kellan be in Vancouver? I guess the man needs to get his party on.

I think it's funny that Steven Strait was in attendance, as he was Twilight fans choice to play Jacob Black before being deemed too old for the teenage role. Everyone else at the event looked fabulous in my opinion. I swear, Kellan is getting hotter like by the minute. I didn't find him at all attractive in the first Twilight movie, but looking at him here I just want him to hold me. Any celebs at the event you guys are particularly fond of? Let us know!

It was a date night for Halle Berry and her yummy boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey.

The couple attened the launch of GAP's new 1969 Jean Shop. Theywere all smiles in support of the brand, with the Canadian model in a black baseball cap and his partner's cropped 'do slightly more spiky than usual.

Halle recently spoke out about their relationship stating that despite being parents to daughter Nahla Aubrey, they see no need for marriage.

"Gabriel and I don't look at our relationship in terms of forever, we look at it as right here today."

They weren't the only celebs in attendance. Donald Faison, CaCee Cobb, Ashlee Simpson, Patrick Robson, Joel Madden, Rutina Wesley, Tiffani Thiessen, Molly Sims, Emma Roberts and Anthony Kiedis all ventured out for an evening of chatter and cocktails.

Well it's nice to know that Mischa Barton has a champion in Ashton Kutcher. At yesterday's Television Critics Association press tour, Ashton Kutcher said that "[Mischa] was never unavailable for a day of work...Mischa's in New York working today." Kutcher is the producer of Mischa's show The Beautiful Life.

Ashton went on to day, "The great thing about Mischa for this show is we have a lot of young cast. She's done it before. On The O.C. she was one of the leads in this big soap opera."

He'd also like us to believe that she's not going anywhere. "[Mischa's role] is very prominent. She's one of our lead players."

Seeing that Mischa was out partying in New York City over the weekend, let's just hope she stays a little more focused on the job that's paying her bills.
