Bronx Mogwai Hits The Streets Of New York City

Actress/Singer Ashlee Simpson, her husband Pete Wentz and their baby Bronx Mogwai Wentz are seen out in New York City. Earlier in the day Ashlee took part in The CW's Upfront presentation.

Ashlee Simpson will be playing an 18-year-old who has just arrived in Los Angeles "with her own secret connection to Sydney Andrews" on the upcoming reboot of Melrose Place. Check out this preview clip.

'Melrose Place' Cast Turns Up At CW Network Upfronts

Officially stepping out as the newest members of the CW network family, the cast of the new Melrose Place had a coming-out of sorts on the red carpet. Leading the pack was former Seventh Heaven star Ashlee Simpson, who's returning to the network in this new iteration of the 90s TV soap.

Also, the original redheaded vixen from the first version of the series, Laura Leighton, was flanked by her younger costars who she'll end up teaching a thing or two about devilish plotting.

If someone doesn't end up in the pool in her sister's wedding dress by the end of season one, I'll be sorely disappointed. Let the scheming and double-crossing begin!

Hello Mr. Chubby Cheeks! Ashlee Simpson was spotted carrying her baby Bronx Wentz in New York City today.  He's looking adorable in his striped shirt and bare feet.

The singer/actress has brought Bronx with him to the set of her new CW remake of Melrose Place to show off the little tyke to her castmates. He is a little cutie.

Bronx Mowgli Checks Into 'Melrose Place' With Ashlee Simpson

It's take your baby to work day on the set of the CW remake of Melrose Place. Redhead mommy Ashlee Simpson toted her baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz with her for filming in downtown Los Angles on Saturday.

Little Bronx alternated between being carried by his mother and rolling around in a stroller while Mama Ashlee pushed him around, looking sporty in a pair of short shorts, tank top and tennis shoes.

Maybe little Bronx can sweet talk his way into a walk-on role.

Good Lord. In that outfit, Jessica Simpson looks like she just returned from her granddaughter's wedding in Maui. She's even wearing matching orange lipstick. In fact, something about her lips seems a little...off.

The singer, who might quite possibly have been dropped from her record label, spent Saturday night out with her mother, father, sister and boyfriend, Tony Romo. Ashlee Simpson and Mama Simpson looked PSYCHED to be out and about. Pete Wentz must be at home with the baby, trying on his clothes.

Pete and Ashlee Make Out While Hosting The Australian VMAs

Veteran Australia VMA host Ashlee Simpson helped Pete Wentz shoot down the rocky marriage rumors last night while he hosted the annual MTV bash in Sydney. 

Grabbing her rocker hubby by the collar, the singer and maybe-actress provided a very public display of affection for the defenseless audience. "Sorry we haven't seen each other in a while," she justified. And because nothing is TMI for the pants-sharing couple, she added, "we're going to find a quiet place to go fornicate."  Hey, at least she incorporated some Bible language  - Joe Simpson would be proud.

It was kind of a manic night for Mr. Wentz, who bagged a Best Rock Video Award and later dove off stage while the Kaiser Chiefs were performing.  The Killers opened the show, followed by performances by The Fray, Mauboy, Sia, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon (via satellite), and Vanilla Ice, who revived his classic hit "Ice Ice Baby."  Australians do love them nineties. 

Pink's divorce anguish earned her Best Video for "So What" while Katy Perry was crowned Breakthrough Artist and Australia's Sneaky Sound System won the Independent Spirit Award.  VMA princess Britney Spears also got some love, nabbing the Best Moves trophy - though of course she was too busy touring and texting Adnan Ghalib to fly down under.  

No word on how Audrina Patridge handled the red carpet, but good news: no Tara Reid-like nip-slip as of yet.

Ashlee Simpson And Pete Wentz: Marriage On The Rocks?

 It turns out that youthful recklessness fails to disappear the instant two people get married and have babies.  So Ashlee Simpson is discovering. 

The 24-year-old singer is a little jel about having to stay home with sore nipples and bad reality TV while 29-year-old hubby Pete Wentz is out with playing drinking games with his urine. 

An insider tells Page Six, "Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she's stuck at home. It's just not working." 

Of course, Ashlee's camp is splattering a giant smiley face over any rocky marriage suspicion.  Per her rep:  "Everything is fine in their world."  Or, at least, in it's lower hemisphere.  Ashlee and Pete are spending a little "mommy and daddy" time in Australia this week - without baby Bronx Mowgli.  Hopefully a little lovin' will do a marriage good.

Ashlee Simpson Moving Into 'Melrose Place'

The CW, which is already the home of the Beverly Hills 90210 remake, will also be where the reincarnated version of Melrose Place will be living. As for the tenants, EW's Michael Ausielo is reporting that Ashlee Simpson will be moving in.

The recent CSI: NY guest star and former star of 7th Heaven will be playing the character of Violet, a small-town girl who move to the big city, whose wide-eyed charm conceals her more sinister intentions. Oh yeah, Sydney's back, red hair and all. Also, Mischa Barton's still a casting possibility at this point.

As for the most important question of whether or not Heather Locklear has designs on reprising her role, according to a tipster, "It's looking good." That, of course, is awesome. Now, would someone please be a dear and give Lisa Rinna a call before she shows up on set with a sandwich board on her body that reads, "Will Work For Attention."

Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson Sell Drugs On 'CSI'

Leaving their hotel in Manchester, the happy family that is Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz and their young, inspirational son Bronx Mowgli Wentz is on their way for a lovely day out NOT selling drugs, unlike the characters they're portraying on CSI: NY.



The tiny couple united on-screen to portray a drug-running couple. Here's a clip from their upcoming episode and...well, let's just say it's a good thing Pete's band Fall Out Boy is doing so well.

Pete Wentz Making Music For Kids, Bipolarism Under Control

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's little one, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, has provided much inspiration for his musical father. The Fall Out Boy bandmate claims that it's because of his son that he wants to record an album of childrens music.

Wentz said that his band's last album included a hidden track, a lullaby for his son. "We had so much fun doing it I'm going to put out an album of songs for children," the musician admitted.

In addition to being his muse, Pete's son has also helped his dad in dealing with his bipolar disorder. "With marriage and fatherhood, I've finally found two fixed points in my life," Wentz has said. That's good because Pete has a tendency to get stressed.
