Here's Pete Wentz, husband of the gigantically pregnant Ashlee Simpson, appearing on Canada's Much Music on Tuesday. He had to eat gummi worms via some sort of Halloween fun. The photos show that they must have been tainted or something because he looks ill over it. It's probably the consistency.

While on the show, Pete and his band Fall Out Boy rehearsed in a parking lot (check the photo and why? Canada's chilly.) and he mentioned that the airline lost some of his luggage that had new baby clothes in it. That's a deal breaker for the airline. Do you know how much things from that La Petit Tresor joint in Beverly Hills cost? Ashlee's last album cost less to make.

Also, Pete is "on call permanently" as Ashlee is ready to birth at any given moment. "She is very pregnant," he told Ryan Seacrest on Thursday. "I am on call permanently right now. She's at the very end, and it could happen at any point."

Get this, though. Petey and his bandmate Patrick Stumpf are trying to break a record today for more radio interviews in 24 hours. Ashlee is going to be screaming and splashing around in placenta water and he's going to be on the phone with some backwoods joint with a single antenna in Kentucky. "On call permanently" is not possible when you're not utilizing call waiting for your wife's pregnant needs!

In the eighth month of her pregnancy with twins, Ashlee Simpson looks ready to just give up on this whole eating for three thing. Simpson, who recently celebrated her 24th birthday with a white trash party, was spotted heading into Los Angeles restaurant Kamasuka looking exhausted and enormous.

Despite Ashlee's worn-out expression here, she recently admitted that she and husband Pete Wentz are anxiously putting the finishing touches on their nursery.

A source told OK! Magazine of a recent Ashlee sighting at the children's bookstore Every Picture Tells a Story in Santa Monica. "Ashlee looked radiant and heavily pregnant. She had bright red hair and looked striking. She was very sweet and had a genuine interest in the children's art on display," the spy said.

Simpson finally settled on a print from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Ashlee Simpson threw a "white trash"-themed 24th birthday party for herself on Friday night. She's pregnant, but nevertheless wore "Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly."

So she dressed as her sister?

Papa Joe Simpson wore a mullet wig so he looked like a more countrified version of his molester self. Sister Jessica Simpson wore "a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage."

So she wore what she usually does?

If I was knocked up, there is no way I would throw myself a theme party. Eff that. If I had to go to that shitshow, I'd make them place a Barcalounger and a TV in there for me with plenty of Pepperidge Farm Orange Milanos and a case of Diet Pepsi. And a cone of silence so that the rest of these hillbillies portraying hillbillies wouldn't talk to me.

Happily married young couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz (who I suspect would never have found each other without the existence of MTV) looked every bit the excited expectant parents on the red carpet.

Pete's buddy, musician Tyga spilled the beans at the House of Hype's pre-VMA barbecue that Ashlee has been eating for three.  He said, "They're having twins. They're really happy." Way to pull a Jack Black, buddy.

Also, what the hell? Is there something in the water? Everybody seems to be having twins these days. But whatever. I'm happy cause it means we still have a chance we were right both times.

Meanwhile, they seem like a sweet couple, but why does Pete insist on dressing like Ashlee's gothic butler? It can only serve to confuse their children.

Someone in the blogosphere said Ashlee Simpson was having such a hard time with pregnancy weight gain that she flipped and bought herself a bunch of size 0 jeans. So, like many celebs these days, Ashlee turned to her myspace blog and wants you to know, "My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby."

Other things she blogged about? She loves maternity jeans because of the stretchy tops and her closet of size 0's are currently being worn by her clumsy husband Pete Wentz and "he looks hot in them :)."

I wonder if they have a baby boy if it will be dressed in girls clothes...

Jessica Simpson's dad, Joe Simpson, sat down to chat with Extra and clear up some rumors about his notorious reputation as a control freak. He denies that this is the case, saying, "The media says that I try to plan everything. If I had half of the power they give me... Ashlee and Jessica don't call me and ask me. They call me and tell me."

Of his impending grandfatherhood with Ashlee now married and preggo, Joe Simpson said, "I would love to have a boy, but I know how to raise girls so I'm good with that."

You know what he's really thinking is, "I don't care if it's a boy or a girl, as long as the child develops large, bouncy breasts."

They look like have doll hair. It's impossibly shiny and straight. Here's Pete Wentz with his bride, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and their glossy highlights. Will they go bald someday with all the ironing and product? I hope I live to see that.

Ashlee was spotted the other day having a business dinner at Il Sole (Aniston's favorite restaurant). Ashlee chowed down on a filet mignon. That sounds good. Some fans stopped her outside to tell her that they loved her music (well, maybe you should have bought her flop album) and Ashlee was reportedly very friendly and took the opportunity to engage in some marketing for her sad-ass sister.

A restaurant customer says that Ashlee was "totally sweet and very gracious. They were complimenting her music and Ashlee raved about Jessica's country album."

Man, this family is totally all for one and one for all. Papa Joe has them trained to push Simpson family products. Ashlee must not have heard that single Jessica has defecated onto country radio. One time I was buckling my belt, and that little spoke that goes into the belt hole went UNDER my fingernail and I screamed bloody murder and that was still nicer than Jessica's country song.

Ashlee Simpson has "postponed" her summer tour, due to her pregnancy. The singer and husband Pete Wentz were at the opening of the Palms Place in Las Vegas on Saturday, along with her entire family. Pete deejayed and Ashlee hung out with her "country singer" sister Jessica.

"After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour," Ashlee's publicist said in a statement on Saturday. "She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future."

Rock nothing! She didnt sell any albums. Bittersweet World was bittersweet alright, for her ass! She's going to have to be a stay-at-home Mom because it's all over.

Ashlee's sad-ass sister Jessica was also lurking around the proceedings, and many photos were taken of them together. Jessica posed with her hand on Ashlee's belly. She says that Ashlee's love with Pete inspires her music. I heard the single. That's an ugly love.

They're just the cutest couple in the world," she says. "They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about." That's far too many wishes. And there is no way in hell I would wish to be related to creepy Papa Joe Simpson. I would want my virginity taken by someone who wasn't related to me, thanks.

Pete dedicated "Power of Love" to Joe Simpson, and I don't even want to know what that means. "This is dedicated to my father in law Joe Simpson. I definitely have the power of love for you," he said. Uh huh. Pete went where Tony Romo couldn't. And it involves spotting Joe Simpson when he lifts weights naked.

Instead of the pop princess, who had been speculated to attend, the Simpson sisters showed up, along with Ashlee's new hubby, Pete Wentz. I'm guessing all that half-assed pop music created between the three of them might equal one Britney.

Hmm, I'm wondering for how much longer George Clooney's ex-girflriend Sarah Larson will be able to get invites to red-carpet events. But then again she's in some pretty comparable company at the Palms Place opening, what with La Toya and Jackie Jackson, Khloe Kardashian, Verne Troyer and Linda Hogan in attendance.

Sarah better familiarize herself with this crowd because long gone are the Oscar parties and gowns. She's going to be hanging out with Deal or No Deal girls and ANTM rejects, human flotsam and jetsam floating up on the metaphorical coast that is the red carpet.

If Larson's not careful, she could very easily face-lift herself into this existence. Also, how the hell does Linda Hogan's armpits get so damn tan? Well, I guess when your dance moves include lifting your arms up as you pretend to surf, you want to make sure you're a uniform caramel color.

Pete Wentz is the master of the slow burn, I-want-you-to-fill-me-full-of-love-look. That's the look he gives his new wife Ashlee Simpson when he wants them to paint each other's toenails, listen to the Cure, and experiment with hair dye. There is no way he made a baby. Feel free to send in your theories about who the father is. I'd say Papa Joe Simpson had a hand in it, but I watch a lot of Law & Order: SVU so that could have given me some sick ideas.

Pete has scored a gig hosting MTV's F'N Summer on Friday nights. This looks to be some sort of MTV Beach House-type thing (remember that?), and Wentz will be hosting their Friday Night Events. It will feature debut videos (cuz' they show a lot of those) and live performances.

"F is for feedback, N is for new, and together 'F'N MTV' is the summer music event that brings it all together. Starting in June, MTV will focus on exclusive NEW music video premieres, and via mtv.com, the instantaneous feedback from our audience and culture at large as they make the music their own," said Brian Graden, President of Entertainment. Hurrah!

Remember when MTV used to show the videos and in the summer they would be at the Beach House? I miss Pauly Shore and Tabitha Soren. Is Kurt Loder alive? I want to see Kennedy driving a golf cart into people, and Adam Curry hosting Hard 30. Jesus, I'm old. Happy Friday!
