Of course the big question is, are Jessica and Tony still together?

The two have not been photographed together for three weeks, until yesterday when they grabbed sushi at Katsuya in Hollywood. Tony kissed Jessica in front of the photogs there, but it was only on top of her head.

Rumor has it that Papa Joe called Tony after the breakup and asked him to show his support for Ashlee and Pete by coming to the wedding with Jessica.

So, here you have the two showing up to Papa Joe's a few hours early for tonight's wedding. I have no idea if they are officially together or not, but I'm getting to the point that I don't really care either -- at least until football starts again.

Pete Wentz's parents are now in town, and the Chicago couple hosted a rehearsal dinner for their son and his fiancee Ashlee Simpson at her sister Jessica's Studio City house last night.

It was an intimate party with a small group of friends and family. The decor had white tables with white candles, and sparkling white lights in the trees.

According to one source, guests to tonight's wedding were asked to wear cocktail attire, but not overdress -- and to make sure their attire is dark. The guests, totalling around 150, have been told to expect a fantasy themed party.

Fantasy-themed? I'm not sure what that entails, but I'm still hoping Pete was joking when he dropped this one. I also hope it involves a laser light show set to Fall Out Boy music. That would be sweet.

In preparation for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's weekend wedding, Jessica and Tina Simpson hosted a bachelorette party last night for the red-headed expecting future bride.

It was a low-key event held at Ashlee's parents house in Encino starting in the early evening and coming right around midnight. Tents were set up to accommodate the guests. What did you think it was going to be? Some crazy boozing and running around? Please, this isn't a McDonald's in Canada, people.

Meanwhile, Pete hung out with his future papa-in-law and some of his friends that night, hitting up Mr. Chow for an almost $1,000 tab. Leaving the restaurant, Joe declared, "I'm a happy camper."

And at the ripe old age of 23, I guess being pregnant makes the time "right."

Pete Wentz is excited for his upcoming wedding to Ashlee Simpson. So excited, in fact, that he has jokingly exclaimed he wants the ceremony to be themed after the Gremlins sequel.

The Fall Out Boy bassist said in an interview, "We could have it take place in a mall and there could be little green naked monsters running about! We could even have Gizmo as a guest!"

All jokes aside, fashion-loving Pete did mention that he's leaving the day's fashion to his fiancee, Ashlee. Pete launched his own line called Clandestine four years ago, but he doesn't seem to have faith in himself for creating clothes for big event.

"I would not even try to step in and design Ashlee's wedding dress. I don't think she would want that - thank God. I wouldn't marry anyone who wanted a wedding dress designed by me," he said.

Let's face it, Pete knows he will be too busy trying on Ashlee's dress to even think about making one for her -- either that or there is just not enough time because the couple are getting married this weekend in a shotgun wedding!

Jessica Simpson performed at a concert for the troops at Camp Pendleton Thursday night, and revealed to the press that she's going to be sister Ashlee's maid of honor. Ashlee is possibly pregnant and marrying Fall Out Boy heartthrob/Cover Girl Pete Wentz.

Jessica replied "of course," when she was asked if she would be standing up for Ashlee on her wedding day. Well, what else does she have going on?

Simpson performed alongside Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Ne-Yo, and Pamela Anderson in a three hour concert that night. I can only imagine what Pammy Anderson was performing. Jess sang "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" in a skintight red top, jeans and stiletto heels. I gotta hand it to her, she gives her all for the troops.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz might be getting married next week. Do I hear the cocking of a shotgun? Reports say that the flailing songstress and her faux emo boy might be getting married as early as May 16.

"The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles," says a source.

Ashlee is currently playing coy with the media as to whether or not she's pregnant. A pregnancy could very well be a reason for all the hurrying around. Then again, her new album just came and went and maybe she needs the distraction of a honeymoon and picking out china.

The same reports state that Jessica Simpson has also gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. She's allegedly jealous that her little sister is pregnant and getting married before her. I totally buy the jealous part, but if Jessica Simpson were engaged she would be running down the street flashing the ring at everyone and screaming her head off. What else does she have to live for?

Ashlee Simpson went on British television to discuss her new album (which is flailing) and her engagement to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz (which is annoying). She didn't talk about the pregnancy (that would kill the suspense) but she did talk about her engagement ring, and how great Pete is. Oh, and her ninja moves backstage? Whaf*ck?

Ashlee showed off her engagement ring to British television host Paul O'Grady's audience last Thursday.

"He did a great job, it's pretty exciting. I got a good one," she beamed as the audience applauded. Ashlee's in London trying desperately to shill her record Bittersweet World. It only sold 47,000 copies in the US in its first week. Compare that to the 398,000 copies that her first album sold upon its debut. No wonder she's working this pregnancy thing for all its worth. She's gotta stay relevant!

The most intriguing revelation on Ashlee's part during her Paul O'Grady appearance was when she described what goes on backstage before her and the band perform.

"My girlfriend kisses my hand three times and my band do a really weird ninja dance. We clap our hands and give each other our energy and then we say a really bad word afterwards," she explained. You know they scream the c-bomb and it's directed toward her sister. "Ninja dance?" Is crack on the concert rider?

Ashlee and Pete are already on their way back home after a whirlwind trip to the other side of the pond.

While there Ashlee recorded a session for the Nokia Green Room, a program which is known for great live performances and candid interviews with popular musicians. Surprisingly, the couple managed to continue avoiding the question of whether or not Ashlee is pregnant.

At least we don't have to speculate about Ashlee and Pete getting engaged anymore. I know they officially announced it a while ago, but that large rock on Ashlee's finger is what makes it all real to me!

Fall Out Boy bassist and Ashlee Simpson's sperm donor Pete Wentz is being sued for assault and battery by a Chicago man. The man claims that he got his ass beat by Pete and a security team at a Chicago bar during a SPIN magazine party last June.

Andy Kallas says that he suffered "serious injuries to his head, mouth and face" after "an unprovoked attack" by Wentz and his crew (supposedly 10 in number) at Schuba's Tavern.

Pete Wentz spoke to MTV , and said that the suit was "frivolous" and Kallas was a big sissy. Ok, he didn't say that last part but he thought it.

"This lawsuit is entirely without merit and will be vigorously defended," Wentz said via e-mail. "This is another in a long line of frivolous lawsuits that are filed against celebrities each year from individuals seeking a quick payoff when there is absolutely no justification for the claim."

At the time of the scuffle, a Schuba's patron told the press that Kallas was heckling Wentz by mocking Ashlee Simpson and the hoodie that Wentz was wearing. Well, glittery hoodies are girly! And...it's Ashlee Simpson, dude. Kallas also allegedly called Wentz a "sell-out". Like he's never heard that before.

Wentz admits he's a "jerk" but he only hit Kallas after Kallas grabbed him first. Can you imagine what this slapfight looked like? Ashlee's probably got a better right hook.
