Well, tonight is the night. New Moon is finally here! A least we don't have to wait another whole year until Eclipse debuts in theaters.

The last major U.S. event for New Moon is taking place tonight in New York City with a screening of New Moon. Although Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart (check out Kristen's green dress in the gallery) and Taylor Lautner do have a few more talk show appearances yet to air.

Here at Socialite Life we've really come to admire the Twihards and their passion for the book, films and stars. So we'd like to thank all of them for their support of Socialite Life, and look forward to our journey with the Twilight gang long after Breaking Dawn comes to the big screen.

It seems like the premiere of New Moon was just yesterday, well like two days ago, and we've been left with a little sadness in our hearts withRobert Pattinson losing out to Johnny Depp for People's Sexiest Man Alive. Not that Johnny Depp isn't sexy, but come on.

Showing off their shared love of black and all things gothic, celebrity couple Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton showed up looking all kinds of pale-skinned and mysterious at The Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit: A Tribute to Tim Burton in New York.

Naturally, Tim's BFF, Johnny Depp, was there to support the director, his longtime collaborator and friend. Johnny opted for his traditional three-piece suit, leaving the tie at home, naturally. He and Patti Smith posed for photos, making for an all-black couple dripping in cool.

The Olsen twins showed up wearing their trademark multiple layers, each carrying an oversized bag in hand. Mary Kate Olsen went for a splashier look, with her super-defined lipstick, cheetah-print coat and black hat, while Ashley Olsen kept her bright blue dress under a black jacket, with just her bright yellow pumps peeking out underneath.

Both Rose Byrne from Damages and New Moon star, Ashley Greene, opted for a frock that was both black, sexy and short. While Rose kept things sheer and sparkly, Ashley favored a more flirty style, showing off her bare legs and long, dark locks.

Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon looking classically glamorous in her long, gown. However, the tomboy inside her soon won out and for the after party for the event, Stewart made sure to change into a decidedly more casual outfit. Luckily for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, their matching suits and skinny ties proved to be comfortable enough to keep on for the entire evening.

And although the whole gang had traveled around the world promoting New Moon for fans, but of course, nothing compares to Hollywood. Pattinson tells the Associated Press, "It is about 10 times bigger than any other city in the world." In fact, things got so crazy that Twilight star, Kellan Lutz, even found himself having trouble getting inside the after party for his own movie.

This time around, Kristen felt more prepared for the throng of screaming fans, explaining, "I'm not as scared as I was last year." Before you know it, she'll be an old pro.

Check out the lady in red. With her long, brown hair half-up and half-down, Ashley Greene looked like a leading lady in her dramatic, red dress that matched the carpet she walked for the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Westwood.

The final touch on Ashley's 70s bombshell look are the big gold hoop earrings and cat-eye makeup. Well done, missy!

Looking at these pictures of Ashley Greene casually leaving celebrity-frequented restaurant, Beso, in Hollywood, you would hardly know that before her rise to fame as a vampire in Twilight, the leggy starlet rarely left her home state of Florida.

Since then, she's journeyed around the world to film New Moon and Eclipse in Vancouver and Italy, walking her way across the globe on red carpets for Twilight events. While Ashley has confessed that holds a special place in her heart for Vancouver, she admits to USA Today that Italy was her favorite spot to visit.

Greene explains, "It was really, really amazing. For one, the food is absolutely incredible. There's no preservatives. It's real food. I don't even like tomatoes and I was eating tomatoes in Italy."

And now, here she is, dining on the local cuisine in Los Angeles. From the strange look of her leg, it seems a real vampire considered her part of the local cuisine and took a quick bite.

The New Moon premiere is looming just a few weeks away and unofficial Vampire Ambassadors, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, have been working overtime to get fans excited about the upcoming sequel.

And get excited they did, with 17-year-old Shannon Norris saying of the twosome's most recent appearance on the New Moon cast tour in Aurora, Illinois, "I thought I was going to pass out there for five seconds."

And it's no surprise, since the stunning couple wore blinding smiles and some very dapper outfits. Ashley looked festive in her winter gear and Kellan was a sharp-dressed man in all black.

So, lucky fans hoping to meet members of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on the cast tour, were greeted with the smiling faces of Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene at Hot Topic and Nordstrom in San Francisco at a recent autograph signing event.

While Kellan's made no secret about his desire to become an action star, Ashley is looking to continue working in the supernatural realm of film.

The actress is in talks to star in The Apparition and, according to Variety, the plot "centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment" and was "inspired by true events."

Sounds like there is life after Twilight.

Back in Los Angeles after spending Halloween with New Moon co-star Kellan Lutz at Tao, Ashley Greene sucks on a lollipop as she stops into an AMPM for gas and a sugar free Redbull energy drink.

After filling up her Audi, she heading off to a friends house for the afternoon. I bet they baked cookies.
