It looks as if Mischa Barton's health isn't what the producers of The Beautiful Life are worried about. It's model's Elle Macpherson's acting skills, or lack there of.

An on-set source told The Daily News, "In comparison [to Elle Macpherson], Mischa is a dream come true for producers because she has experience" with three seasons of The O.C., says the source, who adds: "The real problem with The Beautiful Life is definitely the acting now, not Mischa's emotional state."

The source also reveals that acting coaches are being interviewed for Macpherson, as well as other model cast members. The prime-time show's execs, who include Ashton Kutcher, must hope their chosen cast can be taught to do more than just walk and look pretty. The pressure is on: The show needs to be taped, edited and in the can for the premiere on Sept. 16.

Continues the insider, "All the models need to be taught how to act, but the main focus is Elle, because she has one of the biggest roles."

And Ashton is going to help out with that how?

I'm not sure if Ashton Kutcher was actually checking in to see how the actual production was going for his series A Beautiful Life starring Mischa Barton, or if it was just a photo op for some publicity?

Ashton, along with his wife, Demi Moore, headed down to the East Village to check in on Mischa Barton and company. Mischa was done shooting by the time that the Kutcher's arrived. Mischa stars as supermodel Sonja Stone who is struggling to stay on top in the fiercely competitive fashion world.

Ashton took some time out to pose with a few fans, while Demi Moore just tried not to fall over from the weight of the gigantic purse that she was carrying.

Mischa Barton looked quite interesting as she hit the streets of New York to do a photoshoot for her new show The Beautiful Life. Her hair was a mess, she looked kinda out of shape, and it seemed like co-star Nico Tortorella was trying to keep her steady.

I know that she's supposed to be doing much better now, but honestly, she does not look it. What if this is some big publicity stunt? You know, she's supposed to be playing a drug-addicted model, so what if this is all to be like "watch the show! see how she plays a drug addict!"

Not gonna lie, I would definitely watch the show just for that. I do like the gold dress she's wearing in the photoshoot though, but now so much the jacket and hat. Not working for me at all. I can't wait until the photos are released so I can see just how much they photoshopped her. Come on, you know that you're totally excited to see it too!

Good luck with the show Mischa! I guess if Ashton Kutcher thinks it's ok to believe in you then I believe in you too.

Ashton Kutcher, who is married to actress Demi Moore, revealed he is far from getting embarrassed while taking his clothes off during filming.

"There is an initial apprehension. But once the crew has seen your business it's not like it's going to get any bigger or smaller. It's that bit you have to get over."

He added: "Getting up close to the actresses is the simple part. That is some of the easiest acting you have to do." Ashton had to deal with quite a bit of nudity in his latest film Spread, and if I must say so myself, he handled it quite well.

If it wasn't for Twitter we wouldn't have physical evidence that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were okay.

Las Vegas McCarran International Airport spokesman Chris Jones confirmed the landing to Access Hollywood, explaining that the aircraft reported engine trouble a few minutes into the flight after taking off shortly before 1 p.m. The pilots were then cleared for an emergency landing, which they made about 6 minutes later.

"My plane just had to do an emergency landing," he wrote. "Engine over heated. Fire trucks everywhere. Good times."

Demi also Tweeted about the close encounter and uploaded two Twitpics from the scene.

"Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing all!" she wrote.

Following his appearance on Diggnation, Ashton Kutcher was joined by Demi Moore, Matt Goss, Robin Antin and Anne Heche. Ashton was very charming on the red carpet, but according to Ted Casablanca Anne was being a diva.

As for the Heche-monster, we were warned beforehand that if you didn't have a 20-person news team with you, you shouldn't even bother trying to talk to Anne. And, darlings, ain't that the goddamn truth. She just whizzed by like we were last year's lesbians. Isn't being rude to the press much worse than talking to them?

Apparently Ashton Kutcher loves more than just Twitter and Facebook in regards to sharing and social media.

Ashton Kutcher joined Digg.com founder and former Las Vegas resident Kevin Rose for an episode of Diggnation. The show's regular co-host, Alex Albrecht, will also take part.

Rose publicized the former That 70's Show star's Diggnation appearance on Twitter.

"Start chilling the beer for Vegas now!" Kutcher tweeted in response to Rose's posting.

And they did beer it up onstage. Ashton's just a frat boy at heart.

Well it's nice to know that Mischa Barton has a champion in Ashton Kutcher. At yesterday's Television Critics Association press tour, Ashton Kutcher said that "[Mischa] was never unavailable for a day of work...Mischa's in New York working today." Kutcher is the producer of Mischa's show The Beautiful Life.

Ashton went on to day, "The great thing about Mischa for this show is we have a lot of young cast. She's done it before. On The O.C. she was one of the leads in this big soap opera."

He'd also like us to believe that she's not going anywhere. "[Mischa's role] is very prominent. She's one of our lead players."

Seeing that Mischa was out partying in New York City over the weekend, let's just hope she stays a little more focused on the job that's paying her bills.

In his newest movie at least. The stars turned out in droves for the premiere of Ashton Kutcher's new movie Spread. The film tells the story of a young heartthrob, played by Ashton, who has a relationship with an older, successful woman, played by Anne Heche, to get himself to the top of LA food chain.

One could say that this like Ashton's real life, you know with him being married to the older, successful Demi Moore, but from the looks of the couple at the premiere, Ashton just loves her. Those two are always so cute together. Usually in that annoying "we're the most adorable couple at prom" way, but cute none the less.

Demi looked fabulous at the premiere wearing a sexy purple dress and Ashton looked quite dapper as well in his all black ensemble. Rumer Willis was around to join her mother and stepfather and I gotta say I kinda want her dress. Give it to me Rumer. Now.

The movie sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if that's interesting in a good way or a bad way. Like, they are actually going to make Ashton act. I know! Can Ashton Kutcher act? He always seems to play the same goofy character so this could be a nice change. Or a not nice one. Both are possible. The latter extremely possible.

Demi Moore and Aston Kutcher dined last night with Demi's daughter Rumor Willis on in West Hollywood, California. Demi and Rumor were overcome with laughter when the jokester that Aston is, pretended to open his pants to flash a few female fans who were calling out to the group.

If Ashton had actually flashed his penis, it would have been a whole other story.
