The star of What Happens in Vegas has joined her co-star Ashton Kutcher on the promotional tour for the romantic comedy. After taking time off to be with her family after her father's death, Cameron dusted off her best red mini dress and high-heels and got back to work, hitting up the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

Dude, I know it's not any big revelation that Vince Vaughn is puffy, but before I clicked on this thumbnail of him, I thought he was a former cast member from The Sopranos.

And if you think Bai Ling looks pouty in this picture here, well, you would be too if you had been attacked by a sequin spider and left for dead.

Cameron Diaz, absent from the press junket for her film What Happens In Vegas... due to the recent death of her father, sent a note to her fans. Co-star Ashton Kutcher read the handwritten missive. Diaz's Dad Emilio died from flu-related pneumonia on April 15.

"Due to the loss of my father I have chosen to be with my family this weekend. But it was important for me to convey to all of you how much I love this film. We really did have the best time, most fun and laughs making it. I know that the stories Ashton, Rob [Corddry] and [Director] Tom [Vaughan] share with you will illustrate that point. I was fortunate to work with a group of truly gifted individuals that share the common denominator of a generous heart and wickedly sick sense of humor.

"This weekend I am screening What Happens in Vegas for my family. It was a unanimous decision that we all needed to share a good laugh. After all that's why we make films like these. So people can leave behind their worries for a couple of hours. Have a good laugh."

The movie is your typical rom-com schlock about a man and woman who drunkenly marry in Vegas and then compete to win slot machine earnings from each other. Kutcher told the press that Diaz is the only "true comedic leading lady in our business right now." In light of her recent tragedy, I won't touch that one.

The What Happens in Vegas star wants you to know that he's not perfect. He was on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross talk show on the BBC when he decided to take off his shoes to reveal to the host that his feet were slightly webbed. Just before he decided to whip out his tootsies, he said, "When everything else is so good-looking, something has to give."

I too suffer from a very subtle affliction just south of my ankles, but it's barely noticeable, really. People with hooves are a lot more common than you think. There are at least 5 of us, worldwide.

Ashton Kutcher rocked the red carpet last night for the premiere of his new movie 'What Happens in Vegas' without his beloved costar Cameron Diaz by his side. Cameron is in LA after the sudden death of her father last Tuesday, but Ashton said the actress is doing well considering the tragedy.

'She is doing well ... as well as you can do,' he said. 'I can't imagine losing my dad. That would be ... a pretty tragic deal. But I think she's doing good, and you know what? She'll be happy that's she's making people happy, and she's great for the movie.'

Ashton also took advantage of the event to make quite a few fans happy. He stayed on the red carpet visiting and entertaining the people for 2 whole hours, much like Tom Cruise used to do.

'I love London and I love the women here,' Ashton said, quickly informing the press that 'Demi doesn't mind at all.'

Hmmm. Demi doesn't mind him traveling to promote his movie, or Demi doesn't mind him canoodling with the ladies of London?

We'll find out when we see how many shopping bags Demi has Ashton carrying around town when he returns home.

Ashton Kutcher is speaking on behalf of his What Happens in Vegas... co-star, Cameron Diaz, who is currently "seeking medical" attention. The actress, who is still in mourning after her father's passing last week was unable to attend the premiere for her new comedy, in which she stars alongside Ashton.

Kutcher addressed the press on the red carpet "Sadly she will not be joining us for the premiere as she has just lost her father and is under medical attention with stress at the moment."

And we here at Socialite Life would like to wish her a speedy recovery because we can't in good conscience make too much fun of her while she's down and out. We'd prefer to wait until things go well for her again.

Ashton Kutcher looks like a college kid who got caught making time with his best buddy's mom in the photos below. He's in Details and letting the reporter watch his Kabballah rituals, and referring to wife Demi Moore as "one of the smartest people he knows." Keep in mind, he hangs out with Wilmer Valderamma and Diddy.

During the interview, the reporter noted that Ashton took out goblets of wine and water and said prayers over them. He noted that he doesn't follow a "religious leader" but his beliefs are a "combination of prairie wisdom gleaned during his Iowa childhood and New Age Hollywood metaphysics."

The best part of this interview is when Cameron Diaz is on the scene. She's Ashton's co-star in What Happens In Vegas... and he discusses his upcoming gig hosting Saturday Night Live with her. He hits upon the idea of having her do a walk-on. This is seriously their conversation:

"During the monologue, like, you could come on, where you're thinking you're hosting and I think I'm hosting," Kutcher said.

"Oh my god. That could be so funny."

Kutcher kept going. "Like, 'Hi, I'm Cameron Diaz.' And then I'm like, 'Cameron, what are you doing?'"

"I'm hosting Saturday Night Live," she said, picking up the riff. "What are you doing?"

"I'm hosting SNL."

"I'm hosting SNL."

Diaz threw her arms around Kutcher. "Oh my god, totally--we have to do it." They kissed each other on the cheek.

It's like the ninth ring of hell. This is the reason why aliens are going to wipe out our asses out someday. They're going to get this article on their alien newsfeed and just make it a mercy killing.

Kathy should never have agreed to this. Adnan is probably going to try and get in her pants and explore her bozo wig down below. Any rich bitch in a storm. I bet there's less snack food wrappers, but there's no way she puts out as quickly.

Here's Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore leaving a friend's apartment building. I think May/December is turning into April/January. I salute their love, and admire her patience in putting up with his loud, goofy ass. But she's occasionally looking her age lately. Not that it's a bad thing, but when it happens it makes her look like she's effing the paperboy.

Ashton, meanwhile, is making some changes. No, he isn't dumping his mom-looking wife. He's switched agents. He's made the leap from Endeavor to Creative Artists Agency. Ashton's a successful guy. His film career hasn't been stellar but he's produced a number of successful reality series, including Punk'd, Pop Fuction (yeah, I used a "u"), and Beauty and the Geek. So I guess that's a coup for CAA. Then again, Pop Fuction? You can't fool me with your dumbass show, Ashton!

"Muthaf*ckin' princess" Avril Lavigne played a sold-out show in Atlantic City recently, and addressed her recent appearance on Ashton Kutcher's Pop Fuction show. Yeah, I used a "u". She was up to mischief and convinced the world that she was preggers! Imagine that pink-haired stank baby? Avril was her usual whiny self.

"Man, everyone keeps asking me about this! Was it really that big of a deal?" she said. "Ashton approached me and I thought it was a great idea, mostly because I'm often attacked in the media and I don't know why. I have so many positive things in my life right now that I'm just, like, 'Really? Whhhhyy?' [when a negative story appears]."

Because you're annoying and you steal music. When asked how she would run a tabloid, Avril said that she would only run stories "full of nice things." Honey, you better land the shuttle because that doesn't sell. Can you just picture her asking "whhhyy?" through a mouthful of gum and playing with her hair? Isn't she from Canada? How did SARS miss her?
