Michael Phelps & Ryan Lochte Embrace The Return Of The Speedo

A multitude of world records were broken on the first day of the world swimming championships, sparking discussion by international swimming governing body, FINA, that new regulations will eliminate performance-enhancing swimsuits.

What exactly does this mean? Well, a possible return to the teeny, tiny Speedo suits. And Olympians Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte think that's a great idea.

Phelps told reporters at a news conference, "Swimming will actually become swimming again. We're all going to have the same exact suit." In addition, Lochte tells Reuters, "I wish it went back to the old school, like banana hammocks. Jammers, I mean, I'm cool with that."

I think we're ALL cool with that.

Gilles Marini Wants To Make Every Month In 2010 Sexy

Former professional soccer player and Dancing With the Stars contestant Gilles Marini is again stripping down to nearly nothing for his 2010 calendar, photos taken by Fred Goudon.

The star of the Sex and The City movie has clearly never been camera-shy, having been photographed nude in the past and these new images by photographer Fred Goudon do not disappoint.

In addition, Marini also recently posed for a photoshoot for Playboy magazine. However, he's posing for a fashion spread and will, sadly be fully-clothed. But while you're flipping through the pages, you can always be sure to have this calendar tacked to the wall. It's sort of like having X-ray vision.

Tom Cruise & David Beckham's Boys Night Out Infuriates Victoria

Licking his wounds after being booed at Sunday's L.A. Galaxy game, David Beckham spent some quality time with his bro, Tom Cruise. The movie star joined David and Victoria Beckham for a night out on the town at Hyde in Los Angeles.

But just because wifey was along for the ride doesn't mean that the boys were completely well-behaved. A spy tells RadarOnline.com that it was all fun and games until three scantily clad fans asked to pose for pictures with the Tom and David.

Vicky, who was posted up on the couch with her legs crossed throughout the course of the evening. And when the girls approached, Posh prepared to nix the photo-op, but David agreed with a friendly "Sure!" A very flirtatious encounter ensued, much to Victoria's chagrin. But from these snuggled-up pictures of the couple, it looks like it was nothing a little make-up sex couldn't fix.

Fans Boo Beckham While Tom Cruise & Victoria Beckham Cheer

Soccer star David Beckham has returned from his brief stint at AC Milan to play his team, the Los Angeles Galaxy. However, the British athlete did receive a hero's welcome.

First of all, David's teammate Landon Donovan has openly questioned where Beckham's loyalty resides. And fans are echoing the sentiment, expressing their discontent with boos and signs at the Home Depot Center for David's return to the soccer field here in the States.

Luckily for David, however, he had famous friends up in the stands to show their support. Tom Cruise, the admitted namesake of the Beckhams' son, Cruz Beckham, accompanied Victoria Beckham up in their expensive seats.

Later, in the parking lot, some particularly grumbly fans were found staked with an expensive Christian Louboutin stiletto to the heart. I'm not pointing any fingers, but those big sunglasses sure do hide a lot of sins.

Hollywood Stars Honor Athletes At ESPYS: Merman Smooches Demi

Sneaking in a kiss to Demi Moore, multiple ESPY award winner, Michael Phelps (who led the men on the red carpet) took advantage of the 17th Annual ESPY Awards to swoop in and plant a wet one on the wife of infamous prankster, Ashton Kutcher.

Hollywood's most familiar faces showed up at the event, stumbling briefly during a teleprompter mix-up. Luckily, however, all eyes were on the winners, who included Phelps, winner of best male athlete and four other awards.

Best team trophy went to triumphant NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers, who received the award from musical legend Stevie Wonder. Tennis superstar sisters, Venus and Serena Williams, (who joined a bevvy of beautiful ladies on the red carpet for the event) presented the Arthur Ashe Award to Nelson Mandela. In his stead, his daughter Zindzi and grandson Zondwa accepted the silver trophy.

Host Samuel L. Jackson joked that Phelps responded with a Tweet that said, "Can't believe I lost the Arthur Ashe Award to Nelson Mandela. I can swim circles around that guy."

The ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards) Awards is an annual sports awards event created and broadcast by American cable television network ESPN. Awards are given out for individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the calendar year preceding a given ceremony.

David Beckham On Angelina Jolie In Her Underwear

We'd become so accustomed to seeing David Beckham posing in his skivvies for Emporio Armani, we had forgotten what he looks like fully-clothed on a soccer field. Weird.

So here's the part-time model practicing with the L.A. Galaxy after returning from a stint with Real Madrid in Spain. While in town, the professional athlete took the opportunity to shoot down rumors that he and Angelina Jolie would be featured in an upcoming underwear ad together.

"I don't think that's true!, I definitely don't think that's true. I think it's something put out in the press," Beckham told Extra. He went on to say, "You know she wouldn't do it and I wouldn't do it. At the end of the day, I wouldn't do it because I'm married."

Good answer, buddy. Someone's received some very strict training from a certain drill sergeant in order to answer that question correctly .

Tony Romo Calls It Quits With Jessica Simpson

Adding insult to injury, Tony Romo not only has ended his relationship with Jessica Simpson, but the split reportedly happened the day before the pop singer's 29th birthday.

A source dished to Us Weekly that Simpson has canceled her Ken and Barbie-themed birthday bash as a result, but is "doing OK." In addition, a friend of Romo's said the break up didn't come as a shock. "They go from one fight right into another, without a second break," the snitch tattled.

With the festivities canceled, Romo opted to spend his ex-girlfriend's birthday at the L.A. club My House. As a fan of the Newlyweds series, I can only hope it's no coincidence that both Jessica and her ex-husband Nick Lachey are single at the same time. Lord knows, they were much stronger with their powers combined.
