Tony Romo Calls It Quits With Jessica Simpson

Adding insult to injury, Tony Romo not only has ended his relationship with Jessica Simpson, but the split reportedly happened the day before the pop singer's 29th birthday.

A source dished to Us Weekly that Simpson has canceled her Ken and Barbie-themed birthday bash as a result, but is "doing OK." In addition, a friend of Romo's said the break up didn't come as a shock. "They go from one fight right into another, without a second break," the snitch tattled.

With the festivities canceled, Romo opted to spend his ex-girlfriend's birthday at the L.A. club My House. As a fan of the Newlyweds series, I can only hope it's no coincidence that both Jessica and her ex-husband Nick Lachey are single at the same time. Lord knows, they were much stronger with their powers combined.

Alex Rodriguez & Kate Hudson Abide As A Couple

Despite the fact that he's apparently been getting no sleep, Alex Rodriguez reportedly couldn't be happier with his coupling with actress Kate Hudson.

Page Six reports that the athletic twosome were spotted out on a double-date with Bob Costas and wife Jill Sutton at Scalinatella. The gang met up after the Yankees triumphed over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

The spy claims that the two were "holding hands and whispering" to one another and "definitely looked every bit together." Wow, so yeah, this is still going on. At least until one of them gets distracted by something shiny.

Cristiano Ronaldo Gets A Clean Bill Of Health

Portugese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has taken another step towards successfully navigating his career toward playing for Real Madrid. The athlete just passed his medical exam at the Sanitas Hospital in La Moraleja.

The Real chief medical officer reports, "[Ronaldo] is in perfect condition and very eager to start the season as soon as possible."

Wow, so you mean he slept with Paris Hilton and isn't slowly rotting from the inside out? He must be some kind of Superman. Or probably just immune at this point, from his own worldly conquests.

Andy Roddick At Top Of Game Despite Wimbledon Loss

Roger Federer won his 15th Grand Slam title, breaking Pete Sampras's record of 14 Grand Slam titles.

The 27-year-old claimed his 15th after winning a marathon Wimbledon final against Andy Roddick on Sunday.

The Swiss tennis player prevailed in the longest Grand Slam final in men's history, turning back a determined challenge by American Andy Roddick, 5-7, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5), 3-6, 16-14.

Roddick was the heavy underdog, but it was clear right away that he was undaunted by the occasion. But it just was not his day.

"I just want to say congratulations to Roger. He's a true champion and deserves everything he gets," Roddick said. "I tried. Sorry, Pete. I tried to hold him off. It was a pleasure playing here Sunday in front of champions like Manolo Santana, Bjorn Borg, Rod Laver, Pete."

After pausing to compose himself, Roddick continued to say: "I still hope one day my name will be up there with theirs as a champion of this tournament."

Well played Mr. Roddick.

Joe Montana's Beach Family Outing With Sons Nick & Nate Montana

Football legend and father of four, Joe Montana, is enjoying a Hawaiian vacation to Maui with his comely brood. His two sons Nate and Nick Montana are hard to tell apart, appearing to be the spitting image of a young Joe.

The family shows off their surfing and tanning skill son the beach, while Joe's junk-loving son Nate, gets some help applying sunblock to those hard-to-reach areas. Basically, any area out of arm's reach of his crotch.

Kate Winslet Cheers On Andy Murray At Wimbledon

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet was mightily impressed with the performance delivered by Scottish tennis player Andy Murray during the final four at Wimbledon this week.

Star of The Reader cheered enthusiastically during a standing ovation for the 22-year-old tennis player as he made his way to the semi-finals for the event. Murray's win over the the former World Number 1, Juan Carlos Ferrero, took place after a one hour and 41-minute match.

The young man has the opportunity to make history as the first British man since 1936 to win the singles title at the All England Club, provided he can make his way past Roger Federer and Andy Roddick. It's a daunting task, but Kate will assuredly be there to provide moral support from the stands along the way.

Brazil Defeats U.S. At FIFA Confederations Cup

Of course, more than any scores, we're most interested in getting to know the soccer players on the field. Brazil managed to rally a win over the U.S. at the FIFA Confederations Cup, effectively winning the event  for a third time.

It was a close call for the match, which ended with a nail-biter of a second half. But really, when both teams are this attractive, everybody wins.

The stand out hotties are Midfielder Benny Feilhaber, Defender Oguchi Onyewu, Defender and Captain Carlos Bocanegra and Defender Jonathan Spector. I'd like to personally offer each of them big hugs.

Kate Hudson Is Giving Alex Rodriguez A Party Workout

Perky little actress Kate Hudson is just a blond ball of energy. In fact, she might even be more than even a professional athlete like Alex Rodriguez can handle.

The Yankee slugger spent most of the game last night against the Florida Marlins on the bench, citing "fatigue" as the reason, according to the New York Post.

This is no surprise, given the fact that the baseball player spent the evening with Hudson--his current squeeze--living it up in South Beach until early in the morn. It's quite a statement that he seemed more rested when he was mixing it up with hookers.

Cristiano Ronaldo Attracts The Ladies With His Fierce Tan

These days, Cristiano Ronaldo has clearly put soccer on the back burner, clearly focusing on spending his time either sunbathing or hooking up with the ladies.

On a particularly successful evening out at a bar in Beverly Hills, Ronaldo seduced three lovely ladies and brought them back to his hotel room with a wink and a smile.

The Portugese athlete was making out with a mystery brunette when two ladies arrived at the hot spot. One of the women told The Sun, "He was kissing the girl and staring at us. He made eye contact and threw a sexy, knowing wink. He knows his effect on women."

From there, the ladies engaged in a sexy dance-off that didn't end until the gang left at 4 a.m. That's the time at which his little shorts turn into tiny pumpkins.
