Lending his athletic prowess to a charitable cause was soccer star and Dancing With the Stars contestant Gilles Marini. Marini turned up at the Setanta Cup to benefit the nonprofit groups the Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund and Hollywood Unites for Haiti.
Gilles told In Touch, "It's for an amazing cause. Proceeds will help underprivileged youth in Haiti. You have to help." Brandon Routh and Marc Consuelos helped kick off the event with a scrimmage against the Hollywood United Football Club.

Currently the manager of Club Atletico River Plate, former soccer midfielder Diego Simeone showed off his still athletic physique on the beach in Miami. Accompanied by his shapely wife, the athlete showed off almost all of his assets in a tiny Speedo, while his lady opted for a revealing string bikini.
These two seem to be engaging in a contest to see who can step out in the smallest amount of fabric possible. And everyone wins.

Before his kids returned to the Los Angeles, soccer star David Beckham managed to squeeze in some quality time with his three boys Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo Beckham. David gave his sons some pointers in soccer while they ran around on the training ground for AC Milan.
A witness reports, "It was fantastic to see them having so much fun. The boys were obviously thrilled to be reunited with their daddy. They must miss him so much."
Yes, David. So do we. Come back to Los Angeles. We promise to be good.

He may not have won an Oscar, but Mickey Rourke is still reaping the benefits of his comeback from starring in the The Wrestler.
Acclaimed for his performance in the film as a washed-up professional wrestler, the actor told press on his way in to the Wrestlemania 25 event Sunday night in Houston, Texas, that he had no intention of giving a performance. "I'm doing Iron Man 2 now, and the insurance company said under no circumstances could I get into the ring."
Of course, that was just a dose of Mickey's good acting as he jumped into the ring for a little tussle with Chris Jericho (check out the video by clicking the continue reading link). Prior to Rourke's surprise cameo, Mickey was laying down some WWE-worthy smack talk in reference to disparaging comments Jericho had made about Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboat.
Mickey said, "They're my friends and I think any one of them on any given night could kick Jericho's ass." Nice. As for Nicole Scherzinger, we're not exactly sure what the connection was but this is the most I've ever written about professional wrestling in my life.

Married couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen resealed the deal when they headed to Costa Rica for a second wedding at the supermodel's home there. The ceremony took place on Saturday evening, with Gisele dressed in a long white dress with a 10 foot-long veil.
The intimate ceremony was held at Bundchen's house in Santa Teresa, attended by 25 guests. According to a witness, the two looked "very happy, like they were having a great time."
Prior to their second set of nuptials, the couple threw his-and-hers parties prior to the ceremonies. Officially, the two tied the knot in a small ceremony at the end of February.

I love Reba McEntyre. It's because she's a survivor, with gentle hands and the heart of a fighter. That, and I'm pretty sure she's part elf, which is awesome.
I'm glad Michael Phelps was able to put down the bong long enough to make it to the event. Ha! I'm only teasing! Besides, there's nothing I could say to him that Reba hasn't already lectured him about. She loves her kids and never stops.

Following his suspect encounter with Camilla Belle at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, tennis star Fernando Verdasco jetted off to Miami to rub elbows with fellow tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal.
The most famous siblings in tennis, the Williams sisters, showed off some drastically different styles on the red carpet with Serena opting for a body-hugging animal print dress and her sister Venus taking full advantage of her long legs.
