Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt aren't the only ones who think The Hills will do just fine after the departure of Lauren Conrad from the series. Her former housemate Audrina Patridge echoed the sentiment to press recently.

Patridge told Us Weekly that even after L.C. leaves the MTV reality television staple, she believes fans will still tune in. "Yes, we're like family to our audience," the brunette asserted.

As for Audrina, she's got a budding straight-to-DVD career to focus on, seen here on the red carpet for the release of her film Into The Blue 2: The Reef. Things are looking up for her. And vice versa.

Just when you thought you had landed on the perfect combination of creams and antibiotics, the recurring nightmare of a rash that is the MTV reality series The Hills is returning to television with new episodes. And if I'm to believe the trailers that have been airing incessantly on MTV, it is going to be an epic season.

Lauren Conrad keeps "losing friends" on the bloody battlefield that is the Hollywood club scene, Audrina Patridge is hooking up with Brody Jenner, Justin Bobby continues to exist, Heidi Montag's crying silicone tears and nobody's got a problem that can't be solved by writing out a check and/or receiving a smack upside the head.

If you squint while watching the little snippets from the show, all you can see is highlights and tears. It's amazing, really.

Taking home the prize for Breakthrough Performer of the Year at ShoWest, Zac Efron took it upon himself to explain exactly why he had chosen to back out of starring in the Footloose remake.

"I'm sure Footloose would have been a huge challenge, but the actors that I love and the actors that work really hard in this industry are always shaking things up, trying new genres, acquiring new skill sets. That's what's always going to appeal to me: the unknown," the High School Musical star told Entertainment Weekly. No big surprises there.

Rachel McAdams, who stars in State of Play, was awarded Female Star of the Year and Dennis Quaid was her male counterpart, winning Male Star of the Year.

But before you get too excited over the recognition they received, keep in mind that Sorority Row cast mates Audrina Patridge and Rumer Willis were presented with the Stars of Tomorrow awards. So that kind of makes it sound like you can probably find these trophies in the 99 cent store discount bin.

Not everybody is happy for the career success Audrina Patridge has attained as...whatever it is exactly she does. The reality TV star has announced a development deal with Mark Burnett, the producer of international reality sensation Survivor.

And so, at a recent cast photo shoot for The Hills, executive producer of the MTV reality series Adam DiVello reportedly had nothing but bad things to say about the bouncy brunette. A witness told Page Six, "DiVello went on a tirade, cursing her in front of other cast and crew."

How could anyone be angry with this heavenly creature who only wants to make the world a better place through tanning?

These two individuals owe their careers to MTV, so it only makes sense that Audrina Patridge and Pete Wentz would lend their hosting services to the MTV Australia Awards.

Aww, aren't they cute at a photocall for the event? You know these two have shared a box of hair dye or two. And of course, the pressure is on for Audrina to actually DO something since she now has her own show.

As for Pete, he can't act like he's having too much fun here cause of problems with the missus.
