We all know that Mr. Steven Patrick Morrissey is a bit of a pouf, and surely loves to take a shot or 2 in the face, tee-hee, but that must be with a whole galley of preparation and deep, ahem, breathing. Check the sure way he holds the tongue shaped Legend statue the Latin MTV Tres Los Premios award presented to Mexican band, Cafe Tacuba.

He holds the base, grips the tip, just ready to aim, point and shoot.  

I so admire a man with technique.

With that said, I am definitely sure that when Morrissey walked on stage at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, soon after making his recovery from his collapse, he expected a show where he does his part as the artist, and leaves a little bit of his soul there on the stage, and we the audience enjoy the music, and passion that makes us come together... Not a bottle of water to the head from some "fan" in the audience.  

And did I mention this show was in Liverpool?? What a way to welcome the Moz, douchey guy who probably spent a butt-load of money on his ticket. Couldn't you have stayed home, and like, pulled the wings off of a butterfly? Or better yet, plucked every hair from your empty head and ate it, then had to drink a bottle of liquid dran-o to unclog your bowels or something? Yeah, thats what I would need from you to make up for making Morrissey walk off stage after 2 songs. Just a little Liquid dran-o.

In half-up, half-down hairdo, paired with a Eva Longoria looked stunning in a sparkly, metallic dress. Showing off a tan and some spangly earrings, the petite Desperate Housewives star was radiant as she stepped out in a pair of matching metallic kitten heels.

Going long, Alicia Keys opted for a strapless, floor-length green dress that showed off her decolletage. The singer kept her look simple, with some turquoise jewelry and her hair parted down the middle.

From the summery looks these ladies are sporting, you would hardly guess that Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

Slumdog Millionaire costars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have remained relatively low-key about their relationship that first blossomed on set. However, the twosome have no problem posing for pictures on the red carpet together, like they did here at the 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards in Century City.

While director for the film, Danny Boyle, chatted about the young couple, he admits, "I'm delighted for them, they seem to be real soul mates....and I'm sure more than that." Initially, however, Boyle was just as much in the dark as the rest of us. Danny explains, "I was a bit surprised at first, but then those things tend to pass me by!"

However, the couple themselves opted not to chat with press about their relationship. When journalists tried to get Danny to spill the beans on a possible wedding in the couple's future, he joked, "Oh I've no idea, I'm a terrible person to ask about that, I can't give you any gossip on that front I'm afraid."

Well he's no fun.

Recently engaged, Emily Blunt, was radiant in her burgundy dress on the red carpet for this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts Britannia awards. The actress took home the prize for British artist of the year and said of her award, "To be honored with something that's so emblematic of where I'm from is really exciting."

Her co-star from The Wolfman, Benicio del Toro, was just one of many gents on the red carpet in a dapper tuxedo. Colin Firth was presented with a humanitarian award and also gets two thumbs-up from us for his impeccable ensemble.

Hollywood legends, Robert De Niro and Kirk Douglas, were also recognized with De Niro awarded the Stanley Kubrick award for excellence in film for his worldwide contribution to filmed entertainment.

Also, it would appear that the young Slumdog Millionaire real-life couple of Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are still going strong.

Beyonce was the major winner of the evening at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Berlin. She took home a total of three EMA trophies - Best Female, Best Song and Best Video.

Eminem won the coveted Best Male category at the Awards, which honors and celebrates Europe's contemporary music stars, while Jay-Z triumphed in the Best Urban category. U2 clinched a well-deserved Best Live Act - scoring their third EMA award win since the MTV Europe Music Awards debuted in 1994.

Creative powerhouse Lady Gaga was honored in the Best New Act category while Green Day scored a victory over the Best Rock contenders. Best Group went to German rockers Tokio Hotel, who also wowed the 9,000-strong crowd with a stunning rendition of their hit "The World Behind My Wall," culminating in an explosive pyrotechnical display and the band's instruments consumed by flames.

Host Katy Perry brought her trademark energy and quirky humor to the awards, appearing in a dazzling array of costumes and looks inspired by burlesque and Liza Minnelli's Oscar-winning appearance in Cabaret, the novel which lifted the lid on decadent 1930's Berlin.

Among the many show highlights was a strikingly sexy performance of "Happy" by Leona Lewis, an upbeat version of "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce and a high octane rock medley of "Wheels" and "All My Life" by the Foo Fighters. Colombian siren Shakira sent temperatures rising with a steamy performance of "Did It Again," performed with dancers dressed only in skimpy towels.

Everybody and their brother--including the Jonas Brothers--showed up to the 2009 MTV Europe Awards dressed to the nines. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas were decked out in their trademark shiny suits while the members of Tokio Hotel opted for a more ostentatious look, as did Pete Wentz with his "black eye."

Hostess for the evening, Katy Perry looked elegant with her dark black locks swept back in a classic updo as she showed off her show-stopping figure in an elegant pale-pink and black gown.

Shakira and Joss Stone both opted for short, flirty frocks, with the Colombian pop star donning a sexy silver mini-dress and the British singer showing off some black knee-high boots with her blue toga dress.

20 years after the historic fall of the Berlin Wall, the MTV Europe Awards will be held at the O2 World Arena in the reunified city. Katy Perry will be playing host for the event, which will play to an audience of 17,000 attendees.

Getting into the spirit of the celebration, costumes for the event have been inspired by the classic film, Cabaret. The singer tells Billboard, "Just like last year, I'm sure I'll have butterflies in my stomach again and will try to give my very best."

While she may have butterflies in her stomach, it looks like Perry had feathers on the rest of her body at a press conference for the event. Looking way more casual were newly shorn Pete Wentz and British singer, Joss Stone.

This woman is seemingly unstoppable. Last night Lady GaGa joined a throng of New York fashionistas at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards, where she accepted the Stylemaker Award, presented by Marc Jacobs. And the singer made an extra special effort not to be outshone on the red carpet.

While her outfit of a black button down shirt worn with bullet bra over the top, hot pants and vertiginous mint-green shoes were outrageous enough, it was GaGa's headwear that really took her look from seriously kooky to absolutely extraordinary.

Remember fashion is not about comfort. Not only did she win an award last night, but she set a record. Lady Gaga became the first artist in the 17-year history of Billboard's Pop Songs chart to notch four No. 1s from a debut album, as "Paparazzi" rises 3-1.

Such a fierce little diva.

Pop star, Katy Perry, is definitely trying to outdo herself this year with her upcoming hosting gig for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.

Last year, Perry showed up on the red carpet with a very strategically-placed, coquettish pair of eyes on her dress. And now, here are the promo shots for her upcoming stint on stage, featuring Perry in some thigh-highs, a short dress and a bright red bow atop a mass of black curls.

And she must be doing something right, since she's the only artist to have been asked to host twice, during the awards' 15 years of existence.

Oh it's that time of the year again, when we recognize all the films of the year--and even more importantly, the outfits being worn by the celebrities who starred in them. A handful of notable newcomers are mixing and mingling with award show veterans. Young Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe giggled as she gushed over her award, telling the San Jose Mercury News, "I think I was extremely naive when I showed up here tonight. This is a big thing."

The actress stars opposite Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey in the film, Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Saffire, and better start perfecting her red carpet strut because she's going to be a busy woman this awards season.

Carey Mulligan (Shia LaBeouf's rumored flame at the moment) also seemed overwhelmed at the event, having snagged the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award for her performance in An Education. She explained, "I'm in a little bit of a daze," Mulligan continued. "This is exciting. The photo bit is a little scary. The lights flash a lot and they made my eyes water, which is terrifying. But it's amazing."

Hilary Swank, who stars in Amelia and will most likely be walking the red carpet for the Academy Awards as a result, was all smiles in her black cut-out dress as she accepted her actress of the year.
