Ashley Tisdale Grinds Up On 'President Obama'

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale made an appearance on the Spanish television show, El Hormiguero and had nothing but good things to say about our Commander in Chief.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to break out of her Disney Channel star shell, Tisdale gushed about how much she adored President Barack Obama. As a result, an impersonator was pulled up on stage so Ashley demonstrate the full extent of her admiration.

Tisdale gave the "President" a very personal vote of confidence with a sexy dance, while taking a moment to blow sweet nothings in his ear. Get a voting booth, you two!

Wanda Sykes Rocks 2009 White House Correspondents Dinner

The comedian took to the pulpit in front of the crowd of famous faces. Sykes teased President Barack Obama about the numerous shirtless pictures of him in the media, his basketball games and managed to touch upon issues of race and politics with an edge that only Wanda can deliver.

Girlfriend did not pull any punches and I'm not doing them justice here in this blog post. You'll have to watch them for yourselves.

It was an impressive array of celebrities in the audience, but none whose smiles were bigger than the President and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The Obama Family Welcomes The First Dog

The newest resident at the White House has officially moved in. Bo, a 6-month-old Portugese Water Dog has come to live with President Barack Obama and his family.

A gift from Sen. Ted Kennedy, the pup was welcomed with open arms by the two daughters of the President and First Lady Michelle Obama, 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha Obama.

The First Family has pledged to make a donation to the District of Columbia Humane Society in lieu of taking in a stray. With the arrival of the doggie, President Obama has finally fulfilled his promise made to his daughters during his presidential campaign. Otherwise, I'm sure Malia and Sasha would have ripped him a new one in the press.

Kal Penn Hired By President Barack Obama

House star Kal Penn has found himself a new gig in politics. No, West Wing isn't coming back on the air. Rather, the House star has been hired to act as spokesperson for the White House for the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities.

Best known for his starring role in the Harold and Kumar films, the 31-year-old actor is now taking on the job of associate director in the Office of Public Liaison.

A start date has yet to be set for Penn, but if you watched last night's episode of House, you probably know he's going to have plenty of time on his hands for now.

Michelle Obama Touches The Queen Of England, Causing War

There's a question of whether or not First Lady Michelle Obama breached protocol when meeting the Queen of England for the first time. Accompanying her husband President Barack Obama on his visit to meet Great Britain's royalty, Michelle put her hand on Her Majesty's back.

Granted, this might not seem like that big of a deal, but you have to keep in mind that this is a British person. And to them, this is equivalent of Michelle jamming her tongue down her throat.

And if I'm understanding this video clip correctly (which I'm sure I am), Michelle's faux pas subsequently incited riots throughout all of England.

President Barack Obama's Interview With Jay Leno

Late yesterday afternoon, I got excited instant messages from my friends in Burbank, informing me that they watched President Barack Obama's helicopter take off from the roof of the NBC building to film his interview with Jay Leno. Whoah.

While Barack was clearly prepared to trade jokes with the talk show host teasing that Washington D.C. "is a little bit like American Idol, except everybody's Simon Cowell."

True to form, critics have questioned Obama's choice to take time out of his hectic work schedule to fit in a chat with Jay Leno, especially in the midst of the country's economic crisis. "Didn't you just say you were TOO BUSY to do an talk show interview?" While Obama argues that he's able to multitask, we all know where the grumbling started. I'm not going to openly suggest anything, suffice to say their name probably rhymes with "Snowprah."

George Clooney's Date Oscar Night: President Barack Obama

Usually, George Clooney is a regular on the Academy Awards red carpet. But this year, he was noticeably absent from the weekend's festivities. Of course, the journalistic-minded actor and director had a good excuse: He was just chilling with President Barack Obama.

On his CNN's Larry King Live interview on Monday, Clooney revealed that he'd spent Sunday evening meeting with Obama discussing the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. Clooney suggests that the United States do "what we do best, what we have done best since the start of this country, which is good, robust diplomacy all across the world."

Yum. "Good, Robust Diplomacy" sounds like a flavor of Starbucks coffee.

Michelle Obama Is A Vogue Cover Girl

Wearing a magenta silk dress, Michelle Obama posed for the cover of iconic fashion magazine Vogue. Jason Wu designed the frock worn by President Barack Obama's wife in the photo shoot, as well as the white gown she wore at the inaugural balls.

This cover is the second time a First Lady has been featured on the cover, the last time was Hillary Clinton in 1998.

But it's not all glitz and glamor for Michelle, who recently visited Mary's Center, a non-profit organization helping people with restricted health care. But, it's really hard not to look good when you're being hugged by a bunch of cute kids.

Etta James Is A Comedian, Eating Her Words

Etta James now says the whole Obama-has-big-ears-and-Beyoncé-is-gonna-get-an-ass- whupping tirade, was just a silly, harmless joke.

"I didn't really mean anything," she told the New York Daily News. "Even as a little child, I've always had that comedian kind of attitude. ... That's probably what went into it."

That's probably what went into it? Be honest, Etta. How do you really feel about Beyon-whatever-her-name-is, singing "At Last" your signature song?

"James said she was "feeling left out of something that was basically mine, that I had done every time you look around." She said she liked Beyoncé's performance, but when asked if she thought she could have done better, James answered, "I think so. That's a shame to say that."

There's no shame in that, Etta! Oh, hell no! Fifteen pounds and a blond wig doesn't make some diva-in-training your replacement.

And bravo for attempting to make a funny about the president. Even Chris Rock said that was impossible.
