Barack Obama Shakes It To 'Single Ladies'

Don't expect our new president to step out in a black unitard and heels anytime soon, but Barack Obama has admitted that he's a fan of the Beyonce Knowles dance anthem "Single Ladies."

At the inaugural celebration attended by a host of celebs, Michelle Obama revealed her hubby's penchant for recreating B's trademark ditty. "Mr. President, you didn't tell Beyonce about 'Single Ladies'? Your rendition?" Michelle joked when the president came to shake the singer's hand. Barack jokingly admitted to being a fan, but clarified, "I didn't put on the outfit."

But if you like it, then he would appreciate if you would put a ring on it.

George W. Bush: Three Martini Thursday

Yeah, we know the now former president doesn't drink, but we'd still like to symbolically give the guy our THREE MARTINI THURSDAY. With everyone super-excited to swear in the new president, Barack Obama, poor little George W. Bush has got to be feeling like the odd man out.

And regardless of his politics and how we may or may not feel about the guy, we all know what it feels like to be unemployed, sitting on the couch with a bowl of cereal in hand, watching Sex and the City reruns.

So with the country celebrating the arrival of the new kid in town, here's a little drinky-poo for you, Dubya. Now, you can go back to watching the episode where Berger breaks up with Carrie with a Post-It. The gall of that man...

Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball Sees Red, White & Blue

If you're looking to see where the political-minded Hollywood beauties went to party last night during inauguration festivities, then you need look no further than the Creative Coalition's 2009 Inaugural Ball.

Anne Hathaway was show-stopping in her elegant red Dior gown. Another stunning lady in red was Maura Tierney, in a knee-length satin number. In contrast, Heather Graham was divine in a long, midnight blue dress. Whatever she's doing with the sunscreen is clearly working. Kudos, fair-skinned woman!

Completing the trio of Star Spangled beauty was Alfre Woodard, looking stunning in a strapless white, floor-length frock.

Featured in the gallery: Anne Hathaway, Heather Graham, Kim Raver, Dana Delaney, Alan Cumming, Alfre Woodard, Ellen Burstyn, Matthew Modine, Connie Britton, Tim Daly, Gloria Reuben, Rachel Leigh Cook, Susan Sarandon, Maura Tierney, Edward Norton, Samuel L. Jackson, Star Jones, Magic Johnson.

The Obamas' First Dance

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama (in her now much talked about ivory Jason Wu gown) enjoyed their first dance last night on Inauguration Night at the Neighborhood Ball whilst being serenaded by Beyonce. Beyonce kept Sasha Fierce from coming alive on stage and managed to give Barack and Michelle their moment. Mostly. You know it was her idea to have her own spotlight going. Egotist.

"First of all, how good looking is my wife?" Obama asked the crowd. Yay! How? A lot. As a friend of mine remarked, it's about time we had some hot people in the White House.

Beyonce sang Etta James' "At Last," and the couple was formally introduced by Denzel Washington. Get this - they hit TEN inaugural balls last night. Ten. And they probably weren't even allowed to drink. When club-hopping becomes a chore. After the 7th dance, Shell musta been like "Can you go get us out of Iraq now, while I save the economy? My dogs are barking."

What a night. This hat will always be part of our fondest memories.

Featured in the gallery: Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, will.i.am, Mariah Carey, Ray Romano, Leonardo DiCaprio, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Nick Cannon, Mary J. Blige.

Michelle Obama Brings Sexy Back In Jason Wu Inaugural Gown

While today Barack Obama officially begins his quest to fix the country, last night we were allowed to be shallow and relish in Michelle Obama's bare shoulders.

But, seriously, how refreshing is her creamy inaugural gown? Yes, yes, it was the traditional inauguration white, but we thought the one-sleeved, floor-length gown by Jason Wu had just the right amount off-kilter to make what could have been staid dress, very sexy.

A former first lady, who shall remain nameless because we aren't tacky like that, would've bored us all in a matronly, high-necked, over-structured dress by a older, less hip design house.

Jason Wu, who once interned for Narcisco Rodriguez, is a brand, spankin' new designer who's first collection debuted in 2006 and regurlarly dresses Amber Valetta, Leighton Meester, Joy Bryant, Gretchen Mol and Kerry Washington.

Out Of The Mouths Of Babes: Reality TV Stars Talk Inauguration

Quite honestly, there's not too much I can do but post verbatim what reality TV fixtures Khloe and Kim Kardashian and Whitney Port had to say about today's inauguration of President Barack Obama. So without further ado...or tears:

Whitney Port on her official website:
While watching the events of today's inauguration all morning, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with tears of excitement at the prospect of change!!!

Mischa Barton on her official website:

I cried, I won't lie. I cried for the people being hit by our economic crisis, including my friends, and for the people who don't understand the spirit of good Americans. I cried because I had a press day where I had to answer worthless questions about fame and his speech was so right that that has nothing to do with the hard work that made the fabric of the American nation.

Had he not won, I would not be proud to be an American any longer.  I live in France for the freedom America once offered--I have all my faith in Obama. I'm not a religious person but may God bless him and his family.

Kim Kardashian on her official website:
This election was the first time I've ever voted and I'm so proud that Barack Obama is now our president!

Khloe Kardashian on her official website:
I have high hopes for President Obama and not once have I doubted his ability to turn this country around.

Wow, my favorites are the ones that use plenty of exclamation points.

Newly Inaugurated: President Barack Obama

It was a long election year and now after much anticipation, the United States has ushered in its 44th president into office. President Barack Obama took to the stage after a rousing performance by legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin and the swearing in of Vice President Joe Biden.

While President Obama was reciting back his statement while being sworn into office, he hesitated over a phrase and to be quite frank, we don't blame him. These are tough times! Obama's going to be working some crazy, long hours, if he wants to get this country back on the right track.

For now, it's time for a celebration over the history that was made today! Sweeping up the confetti can wait until tomorrow morning.

UPDATED WITH BARACK OBAMA'S SPEECH.

JLo & Marc Anthony Focus On Politics, Avoid Marital Discussions

This inauguration has been a wonderful distraction from Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's quickly crumbling marriage. Yeah, we know it's all rumors, but I don't think I've ever seen them be more affectionate in public than they have been lately, which makes me highly suspicious.

Lopez admitted she was starstruck by President Barack Obama. "The night he won the election, you could feel it in the air. I was...watching him with tears in my eyes, thinking, 'Yes. Something is different. Something is happening.' We're very excited."

The high-profile couple have been lending their support (if not their hard-earned cash) to the new president by showing up to one splashy inaugural event after another. Here they are at the Artists and Athletes Alliance Inaugural Honors Service Nation. That's certainly a mouthful. That's what she said!

Featured in the gallery: Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Meyer, Hunter Biden, Judith Light, Alicia Witt, Queen Noor, Joy Bryant, Fran Drescher, David Arquette, Brandon Routh and Jorja Fox.

Stars Shine On Inaugural Stage, Welcoming Our 44th President

But none shone brighter than President Barack Obama and his first lady, Michelle Obama, decked out in her custom-made outfit. It's full-on Obamarama, folks! Oprah Winfrey, the woman behind the man (let's be honest, here) was smiling a big grin. That one's future is so bright, she better be wearing shades, lest she be blinded. She's got enough problems with her thyroid--she needs those eyes!

Beyoncé Knowles looked sleek with her long, glamorous hair, sunglasses and black leather gloves. And holy hell, when did she start dating black, Russian Napoleon Dynamite? I love it! Jay-Z baked her a cake and would like to tell you how he spent his summer with his uncle in Alaska, hunting wolverines.

In an interview before the inauguration, Magic Johnson was asked about Obama's quip that he planned on turning the bowling alley in the White House into a baskeball court and wanted the former Laker legend to come by for a game. The interviewer asked Johnson if he'd go easy on the new president to which Magic responded, "I'll go easy on him if he goes easy on my taxes." Ha! Prepare for an elbow to the gut, Barack!

Featured in the gallery: Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Don King, John McCain, Sean Combs, John Kerry, Magic Johnson, John Cusack, Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael J. Fox, Isaiah Washington, Sarah Silverman, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Alba, Martha Stewart, Ashton Kutcher, Val Kilmer, Jessica Alba, Edward Norton, Rosie Perez, Corbin Bleu, George Lopez, Josh Grobin, David Arquette, Jon Bon Jovi, Forest Whitaker, Adam Levine, Demi Moore, will.i.am, John Legend, MC Hammer, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
