Mariah Carey claims that she is no longer requesting photographers to only photographer her from her right side. Finally, at the tender age of 40, the songstress has embraced her "bad" side. As
the singer explains, "I really had specific things that someone told me when I was 19 starting in the business and I listened to them...I don't care anymore."
Why the change of heart? Carey claims it was
her role in Precious as a Frumpasaurus Rex that stripped her of her insecurities. Mimi claims, "By making me look so bad [the director] brought out the ability to never be self-conscious again, and that was a gift that he gave me."
As for her "bad girl" side, a witness claims to have seen Mariah on a late night visit, stumbling into NYC eatery, One Little West 12th. However, an insider explains to
Page Six, "She was probably wobbly because she was wearing 7-inch Louboutins. She had just completed 18 hours of press. That's tough to do." Goodness, those shoes sound like a hazard. We're just lucky she didn't impale anyone.
