Spike TV Guys Choice Awards: Halle Berry Wows Everyone

Although Megan Fox (who was elsewhere on the planet last night) was awarded the prize for Hottest Girl On the Planet at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, Halle Berry deservedly was the woman who took home the honor of Decade of Hotness. The mother-of-one showed off her signature super-short hairdo in a slinky black dress that flaunted her assets. She celebrated her decade of hotness by making out with Jamie Foxx onstage. Things got STEAMY! Witness the ass-grab.

Sacha Baron Cohen graced the stage in an adorable Bruno outfit (a leopard print has never worked so well on a man before) to pick up his Funniest M.F. Award. It was Mel Gibson who kicked off the award show by riding in on horse and gave a Braveheart-esque opening speech. He awarded Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and director David Fincher, who's Fight Club was inducted into the "Guy Movie Hall of Fame."

Brad Pitt, of course, helped kick up the level of star wattage at the event. His partner Angelina Jolie won the prize for Femme Fatale. Mila Kunis, awarded Hottest "Mila," kept it simple and sassy in a black dress.

Zac Efron To Present Ben Stiller Special MTV Movie Award

Young Hollywood hottie, Zac Efron, seen here in a photoshoot for Japanese Elle, is set to present Ben Stiller with MTV's Generation Award at the upcoming Movie Awards. People reports that Van Toffler, President of MTV Networks Music/Logo/Film Group, cited Stiller's "versatility and talent" as reasons for honoring him at the Movie Awards, set to air on MTV May 31 (9 p.m. ET).

Stiller is already expressing his appreciation for the recognition - in his own way: "I am honored to be getting the 'Generation Award,' " the star says in his own statement. "I was given my first show at MTV, and also cancelled for the first time. I also was secretly having an affair with JJ Jackson, so it brings back pleasant memories."

Now lets hope that Ben Stiller can actually be funny while accepting his award. His last few appearances (the Oscars appearance stands out) have fallen quite flat.

Lance Armstrong Launches Nike Sportswear 'Stages'

Professional calorie burner (seriously, this man looks like he couldn't get fat if he tried) Lance Armstrong helped Nike Sportswear launch its Stages line at the Ricardo Montalban Theater.

The cyclist who's quite possibly dated as many high-profile female celebrities as he's won Tour de France competitions sported a Nike Live Strong shirt and trademark yellow bracelet at the event. I wish his love life weren't so icky, so I could get more unabashedly excited about his efforts raising money of fight cancer.

Comedian Ben Stiller was also at the event. There's another one who takes his working out seriously. The hair is interesting. I'm hoping it's for a role.

The Mens: 2009 Critics Choice Awards Red Carpet

Jason Segel, rumored to be getting all-romantical with Drew Barrymore practically blended into the red carpet (which was actually black...kind of a macabre choice) with his suit that looked like it was various shades of black. He had a splash of color though, with that red beard of his.

Kevin Bacon looks weathered, but in a charming way, always cutting a slim figure in a black suit. So maybe he's dyeing his hair. He's allowed to. Whatever keeps it fresh and spicy for Kyra.

Brendan Fraser...well, I don't really have too much to say to him. The man has completely given up on starring in movies with remotely plausible storylines, which I guess makes him the exactly opposite of a reality TV whore. Also the man did wear purple to the 14th Annual Critics Choice Awards, and I salute that.

Critics' Choice Awards Winners

Indie movie Slum Dog Millionaire was the big winner at the Critics' Choice Awards last night in Los Angeles, taking home 5 awards--Best Picture, Best Young Actor (Dev Patel), Writer (Simon Beaufoy), Composer (A.R. Rahman) and Director (Danny Boyle).

Sean Penn won for Best Actor as his portrayal of Harvey Milk for the movie Milk.

Anne Hathaway, successfully shedding her Princess Diary/ Ella Enchanted growing pains, tied with Meryl Streep for Best Actress. Streep for Doubt and Hathaway for Rachel Getting Married.

The Dark Knight won Best Action Film, with the late Heath Ledger winning Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the Joker.

Kate Winslet won Best Supporting Actress for The Reader and the Ben Stiller-directed Tropic Thunder took home the award for Best Comedy.

Palm Springs Film Festival Gives Props To Clint & Leo

There were a number of old-school Hollywood heavy hitters at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Donald Sutherland, Dustin Hoffman and Clint Eastwood represented for the silver-haired crowd. Clint, the grizzled old bastard, showed up to accept his Career Achievement Award. Good for him. I saw him once on a red carpet and I can't imagine a more intimidating individual to meet in person.

Leonardo DiCaprio and his permanent baby face accepted the Ensemble Performance Award for his co-stars in Revolutionary Road, which include his buddy and on-screen love interest Kate Winslet. Milk star Sean Penn nabbed the Desert Palm Achievement Award and he must have been happy with it because nobody ended up with his award jammed up their ass. I don't know if you know, but that one is a little on the temperamental side.

Fresh-faced Anne Hathaway took home a Desert Palm Achievement award as well for her performance in Rachel Getting Married. Also, I love that Suzanne Somers was there. Thighmasters for everyone!

'Shrek The Musical' Brings Out The Celebs

Ugh, they will turn ANYTHING into a damn musical. We're waiting for Just The Ten Of Us: The Musical and Ronco: The Show. Celebs including Cameron Diaz, America Ferrera, Phylicia Rashad, Joan Rivers, Michael Urie, Judith Light, Cheyenne Jackson, Natalie Morales, Rosie Perez, Ben Stiller, Hope Davis, Christine Taylor and Mary Catherine Gallagher came out for a night of watching Broadway murder an animated classic with Shrek the Musical. Did you know that Shrek is reportedly the reason why Brad Pitt might marry Angelina Jolie someday?

Celebs strolled down a Shrek-green carpet for their arrivaIs. Is Ben Stiller's wife Christine Taylor ok? She's looking a little...cougarish lately, and she's a little young for that. Maybe it's the stuffy Jackie O black dress.

Phylicia Rashad is totally working the Christmas stuffing out of that Three Wise Men at a disco outfit. It's a glitterball holiday. Cameron Diaz should have left the black coat at home (just run from the limo, pose quickly and get into the theatre) and she also should have lightened up on the face paint. Damn, is she just scrawling the lipstick on in a marijuana haze now?

America Ferrera looked lovely as always accompanied by Ugly Betty co-star Michael Urie, and Cheyenne Jackson should ALWAYS wear the scalley cap, sweater and tie combo. It's working for him.
