There were several reasons for Rihanna, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles to celebrate in London the other night.

Earlier in the evening, the Barbadian singer took to the stage at the Brixton Academy and debuted tracks from her new album, Rated R. Afterward, she launched into some hits from Good Girl Gone Bad and was joined on stage in a surprise appearance from Jay-Z, who arrived just in time to perform "Umbrella" with the young singer. As for Beyonce, she had reason to smile as well, having performed a sold-out concert at the O2 arena in London.

The threesome met up at Mahiki with Beyonce letting her hair down, showing off her legs and bright red lipstick. Jay-Z kept it simple in an all-black ensemble, complete with sneakers and sunglasses. While she kept her head shielded from photographers, Rihanna was hard to miss with her signature combed-over blond locks and a bright red, sheer mini-dress.

Sounds like any rumored baggage involved with the threesome was left at home. Or had its own hotel room.

This is an OMGASM! Beyonce and  Lady Gaga bring two of my favorite worlds together in this latest song/video collaboration for "Video Phone" off of Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce  DELUX album (available November 23).



Both women look GREAT  and sound well together, not to mention it's refreshing to see Gaga as just a woman and not some couture monster.

Singer Beyonce Knowles is currently in London with husband, Jay-Z, as part of the UK leg of her I Am...Sasha Fierce. And from the looks of these pictures of the pop star leaving the Whiskey Mist Club for her hotel room in London after an evening out with her hubby, the travel is agreeing with her.

That night, Knowles reportedly headed back to her hotel room, while her luggage rested comfortably in a room of its own. The Daily Mirror reports that during her stay in London, Beyonce has booked the presidential suite at the swank Lowry Hotel in the Manchester area, while her bags are staying at the less-expensive, albeit still chic hotel, Malmaison in Liverpool.

While two rooms might sound excessive to the casual observer, keep in mind, Sasha Fierce needs a place to stay and I'd be willing to bet anything, she's not a fan of sharing.

Renowned historian and Egypt's chief Egyptologist Zahi Hawass doesn't think much of Beyonce.  Hawass called Beyonce a "stupid person" while speaking to the press about the pop star's recent tour of the Giza Pyramids near Cairo.  Reporter Summer al-Gamal was on-hand to document Hamass's rant, according to ContactMusic.com.  Recalls Gamal:

"Hawass said, 'I showed her the Sphinx and I gave her a book on King Tutankhamen,'' during his self-guided tour. The reporter says, 'Then he stopped being diplomatic and said in anger, 'She's a stupid person and she doesn't understand a thing and she doesn't want to understand... She's coming here to take pictures and that's it.'"

Someone's eager to make himself Jay-Z's very own moving target.  What a self-righteous goober.  Does this make me a Twiologist or a 9021olgist?  I mean, if we're going to hand out titles...

Musical superstars Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z might be ready to slow things down in order to make room in their busy lives for a baby (and a new stylist).

The New York Daily News reports, "While chatting up Gotham mag editor in chief Cristina Greeven Cuomo, the rapper let it slip that procreating is high on the duo's priority list right now."

Sounds like therapy sessions might have helped to help Beyonce sort through the trauma of having witnessed her little sis, Solange Knowles, give birth. Can't wait to see the inevitable maternity line by House of Dereon.

Beyonce was the major winner of the evening at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Berlin. She took home a total of three EMA trophies - Best Female, Best Song and Best Video.

Eminem won the coveted Best Male category at the Awards, which honors and celebrates Europe's contemporary music stars, while Jay-Z triumphed in the Best Urban category. U2 clinched a well-deserved Best Live Act - scoring their third EMA award win since the MTV Europe Music Awards debuted in 1994.

Creative powerhouse Lady Gaga was honored in the Best New Act category while Green Day scored a victory over the Best Rock contenders. Best Group went to German rockers Tokio Hotel, who also wowed the 9,000-strong crowd with a stunning rendition of their hit "The World Behind My Wall," culminating in an explosive pyrotechnical display and the band's instruments consumed by flames.

Host Katy Perry brought her trademark energy and quirky humor to the awards, appearing in a dazzling array of costumes and looks inspired by burlesque and Liza Minnelli's Oscar-winning appearance in Cabaret, the novel which lifted the lid on decadent 1930's Berlin.

Among the many show highlights was a strikingly sexy performance of "Happy" by Leona Lewis, an upbeat version of "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce and a high octane rock medley of "Wheels" and "All My Life" by the Foo Fighters. Colombian siren Shakira sent temperatures rising with a steamy performance of "Did It Again," performed with dancers dressed only in skimpy towels.

Everybody and their brother--including the Jonas Brothers--showed up to the 2009 MTV Europe Awards dressed to the nines. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas were decked out in their trademark shiny suits while the members of Tokio Hotel opted for a more ostentatious look, as did Pete Wentz with his "black eye."

Hostess for the evening, Katy Perry looked elegant with her dark black locks swept back in a classic updo as she showed off her show-stopping figure in an elegant pale-pink and black gown.

Shakira and Joss Stone both opted for short, flirty frocks, with the Colombian pop star donning a sexy silver mini-dress and the British singer showing off some black knee-high boots with her blue toga dress.

The ever-lovable Tom Hanks took his charming movie star self to David Letterman's talk show (although the baby he met outside the studio didn't think he was so charming) and dropped a bombshell of a revelation. The Forest Gump star admitted that his favorite song of 2009 is none other than the catchy Beyonce Knowles song, "Single Ladies."

Starting to sing the catchy tune for the audience, Hanks crooned something to the effect of, "Dada-dada ring on it! Dada-dada ring on it!" The 53-year-old Hollywood veteran admits, "That is a damn fine song, the Beyonce song...because it's infectious."

Additionally, Hanks finds that the lyrics have been applicable in his relationship with his wife, Rita Wilson, confessing that his thoughts when they first met were as follows: "I'm gon' put a ring on that finger. I'm gon' take that thing home."

The only thing missing is a Tom putting on black unitard and shaking his groove thang.

In the past, singer Beyonce Knowles has been deemed too bootylicious during her on-stage performances for Malaysian audiences, so it should come as no surprise that the pop star is postponing her concert at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

While a spokesperson for the Malaysian promoter of the event claims, "The postponement is soley [the] decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," this situation sounds all-too familiar for the former Destiny's Child frontwoman, who is in Asia as part of her international I Am... tour.

I can only imagine what they'd think of Lady GaGa. I can't see her getting past customs.

Leggy pop star, Beyonce Knowles, is making a splash in Asia at the moment. The House of Dereon designer stopped by Tokyo, Japan for a special meet and greet to promote a line of handbags hosted by Samantha Thavasa.

At the event, the singer donned a black, layered, strapless mini-dress and a pair of sky-high blue pumps to show off her famous legs. While she might be clutching a bright, shiny bag in one hand, it's hard to notice anything past her trademark stunning smile.

Knowles is scheduled to make her way to the Wukesong Arena in Beijing, China later this month for a sold-out performance as part of her I Am... tour. Huang Leixiang, who runs Beyonce's fan club in Beijing, "She is really hot and expresses all things good about the modern woman." That sounds about right.
