Beyonce Announces Tour Dates In The U.S.

Super-rich couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are seen here in SoHo, enjoying the bounty of their vast riches (and some killer heels) on a shopping trip for sunglasses.

But these little off-the-clock outings are few and far between for the hard-working twosome. Soon, Beyonce will return to the stage after announcing her U.S. tour dates.

The tour for her album I Am...Sasha Fierce is set to kick off its North American tour at Madison Square Garden in NYC on June 21st, ending with a four-night stint at the Encore in the Wynn in Las Vegas from July 30 until August 2.

All the single ladies, get your credit cards up! Time to buy your tickets!

Obsessed With Beyonce's 'Obsessed' Trailer

In the movie Obsessed, Beyonce plays the wife of a successful asset manager, Idris Elba, who has just received a huge promotion and is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage. But a temp worker, played by Ali Larter, starts stalking him, all the things he's worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.

Once things start going horribly wrong for Beyonce and her family in the film, is when Beyonce stars over acting. The 3:20 mark (or so) when Beyonce delivers the line "You touched my child," is when the deliciously over the top line delivery begins.

So enjoyable!

Beyonce Knowles Gets Lifted To Meet Jay-Z

Low-key married couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z managed to whittle out some time from their intense schedules to grab lunch together at the French restaurant Pastis in New York's Meatpacking district.

For the rare occasion of getting to see her man, B stepped out in some super-high heels that appear to have come straight out of the closet of her diva alter-ego Sasha Fierce.

This reminds me of her Ebony interview in which she admitted that when nobody's looking, she rejects her high-fashion tendencies. "When I get home, I rebel against it and I don't want to take care of anything. I drop it. I'm relaxed. I don't have any shoes on. No make-up. My purse is in the kitchen."

You know, the minute she walks into the house, she peels these suckers off and tosses them at a dart board.

Baz Luhrmann Wants To Get Musical With Beyonce & Hugh Jackman

After his experience directing Beyonce Knowles and Hugh Jackman for their splashy musical number performed at this year's Oscars, director Baz Luhrmann is itching to pair the two on the big screen.

Luhrmann compared the talents of the Destiny's Child frontwoman to Diana Ross and Barbra Streisand, telling Vogue, "Just watching how she processes everything, she's so fast... I just found myself going, 'Oh, my God, I want to do movies with this girl. I want to do a movie musical!'"

Let it be so! Personally, I can't get enough of her glittery, high-powered thighs and Jackman's high kicks!

Mariah Carey And Beyonce Ask: What Recession?

And would we expect anything less? No. No we wouldn't -- Mariah Carey and Beyonce's gross wastefulness is a familiar constant to rock us through any topsy turvy economy.

First things first, Mariah Carey is rumored to have put a bid on the "World's Most Expensive Mansion" the Fleur de Lys in Beverly Hills. Clearly, Mariah and Nick Cannon really need the 15 bedrooms, five-acres and 41, 000 square feet and are ready to plop down an estimated $125 million. The two have made an offer for an "undisclosed amount."

Money well spent.

Beyonce on the other hand, like Katie Holmes, could said to be "valiantly" boosting New York's economy by buying diamond-encrusted undergarments. Seriously. When Beyonce visited Patricia Field's Bowery boutique last weekend she spent $11, 000 in 20 minutes, as reported by Page Six. Perhaps her flashiest purchase, they note, was a black, diamond studded bra.

Shoot, you aren't anybody unless you got some bling underneath all the rest of your bling. It's bling on top of bling.

Beyonce Wants To Die & Go To 'Rhythm Heaven'

You might not know it to look at the smiling pop star, seen here leaving the Patricia Field store in SoHo, but underneath that million dollar smile dwells the brain of a gamer. Beyonce Knowles has confessed to Entertainment Weekly that she loves Guitar Hero and recently filmed an ad for the Nintendo DSi game Rhythm Heaven.

When asked if she would consider creating her personalized version of Rock Band or Guitar Hero, the Destiny's Child frontwoman answered, "I've actually played some karaoke games with the old Destiny's Child songs. It's so funny, because I don't get great scores. I'm like, "How is that possible?!"

She's lucky those games weren't around 10 years ago. Her ass might have been tossed out of the band.

Beyonce Sparkles In New Video Shoot

Beyonce Knowles hit the streets of New York City's Tribeca neighborhood to film a promotional video for her I Am... world tour.

Wearing a sparkling gold dress that, um, accentuated her hips, Beyonce filmed a scene where she walked down an alleyway followed by a group of men in black suits. At one point the group was overheard chanting "Africa".

Beyonce's 28-show tour will begin April 26 at Arena in Zagreb, Croatia. I'm there.

Beyoncévolved On The Cover Of Ebony Magazine

Decked out in a mane of loose curls, a fist forward with a knuckle ring thrust forward, Beyoncé Knowles posed for a high-fashion photoshoot for Ebony magazine, including its cover. The title of the piece "Beyoncévolved" had the pop star spilling some personal pieces of information.

The singer, who hesitates to reveal details about her relationship with Jay-Z did reveal her hubby's pet peeve about her, "Whenever I'm out in public, I have to be put together. When I get home, I rebel against it and I don't want to take care of anything...I think that is most difficult thing for him."

Dude, I would not want to be the one to tell Sasha Fierce to put her bustier in the laundry hamper.

Hugh Jackman's Musical Oscar Extravaganza

I really didn't think I'd be all that impressed by Hugh Jackman as host of last night's Oscars because the best hosts of the past have been comedians.

But when the triple-threat actor opened up the show with a splashy, over-the-top musical number that included a duet with Anne Hathaway while re-enacting Frost Nixon, I knew the Academy had made the right decision.

Granted, there wasn't any nudity (as promised), but Hugh still delivered the goods...and high kicks! And audiences across the country must have thought so as well with preliminary ratings revealing that the telecast might have surpassed viewership for last year's airing.

Another musical number during the show teamed up Jackman with red-sequined wearing Beyonce Knowles and High School Musical sweethearts Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. It was a splashy number orchestrated by Baz Luhrmann, which I thought went well, except for the fact that I'm pretty sure B was lip-synching.
