Beyonce Knowles: 2009 Oscars Red Carpet

Oh my. Now, I love that the dress being worn by Beyonce Knowles is a figure-hugging, fishtail design but those crazy gold roses have got to go! She looks like she's got a lampshade on her feet. I'm not sure who the designer of this was, but this smacks of Tina Knowles.

Jennifer Aniston To Present At Oscars, Entertainment Lines Up

E! Online claims that Jennifer Aniston will be taking to the Oscar stage to present an award with comedian Jack Black, however it's unclear whether or not her boyfriend John Mayer will be walking her down the red carpet.

Mayer dished to Popsugar that he had plans to attend the awards this year and said, "It's my first Oscars. And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend." But then again, he might be jerking our chain. That one loves to tell a joke.

As for the awards themselves, with Hugh Jackman hosting the event, it's reportedly set to be a musical extravaganza. High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron (shown here at the Women in Film's 2nd Annual pre-Oscar Cocktail Party) are reportedly set to perform, along with Beyonce Knowles and Mamma Mia! actors Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried. Apparently, even Australia director Baz Luhrmann is getting in on the action. Sounds like it could be awesome or disastrous. Both work for me, frankly.

Beyonce Frolicks On The Beach With Mystery Man

Well, it's not as juicy as I'm trying to make it seem. The dude in white is playing Beyonce Knowles' love interest for her most recent music video.

Shot on the beach of Malibu, the video shoot was a prime opportunity for the singer to show off her curves in a simple tank top and denim cutoff shorts. This video is for the fifth single off B's most recent album I Am...Sasha Fierce.

It looks like a sexy, romantic video. I'm going to hazard a guess that it's a lovey-dovey ballad, since there aren't any robot hands and unitards involved.

2009 NBA All-Star Game Attracts Politicians And Celebs

Celebs kept it pretty casual at the 2009 NBA All-Star Game with the usually over-the-top glamorous Beyonce Knowles leaving the fake eyelashes at home. With her loose grey sweater, a knit cap and minimal make-up, she and hubby Jay-Z were a perfectly matched pair in his white t-shirt, single piece of bling, shades and a black jacket and jeans.

It was a pretty mixed bag of individuals at the event. I mean where else are you going to see Jesse Jackson, Muhammed Ali, Cindy McCain and Corbin Bleu hanging out? Aside from the fact that they all take the same yoga class Thursday nights, that is.

Beyonce Knowles: NAACP Image Awards Photos

At last night's NAACP Awards, singer and actress Beyonce Knowles nabbed herself an Image award. Dressed first in a coral, asymmetrical one-shoulder gown and then changing into a strapless, white floor-length dress with black satin trim, Knowles nabbed the prize for Outstanding Female Artist.

Both dresses the 27-year-old pop star chose for the event sparkled with beading and matching jewelry. Knowles chose to keep her long, caramel-colored locks loose for the event. And then she promptly walked out of the event and welded her trophy to the hood of her car. At least, that's what I'd do.

NAACP Image Awards Winners

Jennifer Hudson, Grey's Anatomy, and Tyler Perry's House of Payne were some of the big winners at last night's 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards, hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry.

Jennifer Hudson, who was nominated for seven awards, told the crowd the NAACP Awards "always feels like home." She ended up winning three: Outstanding New Artist, Outstanding Album and Duo, Group or Collaboration (honoring her collaboration with Fantasia).

Beyonce was named Favorite Female Artist and Jaime Foxx Favorite Male Artist.

Grey's Anatomy won for Outstanding Drama Series for the fourth time in a row and Tyler Perry's House of Payne snagged an award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Meanwhile, Will Smith took home the Best Actor honor for his work in Seven Pounds, as did co-star Rosario Dawson who scooped up the Best Actress award.

Courteney Cox And Gwyneth Paltrow Are Honored For Cancer Efforts

Last night Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the master of ceremonies at the 14th Annual Saks Fifth Avenue's Unforgettable Evening, which gave a special nod to women's cancer research activists Courteney Cox and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Both actresses glowed in their white gowns, and were joined by cancer research co-chairs Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, as well as Jay-Z and Beyonce - who belted out some "Sasha Fierce" tunes for the party.

But considering the event was supposed to be about, well, cancer, Gwyneth's acceptance speech seemed a little odd. The Oscar-winning actress likened herself to a "housewife" and then self-consciously announced (guess she's been reading the rumors?) that her hubby Chris Martin's absence was due to "being in Japan" for Coldplay business.

Whoa Gywn, put away the excuse book. David Arquette couldn't make it either!

Etta James Is A Comedian, Eating Her Words

Etta James now says the whole Obama-has-big-ears-and-Beyoncé-is-gonna-get-an-ass- whupping tirade, was just a silly, harmless joke.

"I didn't really mean anything," she told the New York Daily News. "Even as a little child, I've always had that comedian kind of attitude. ... That's probably what went into it."

That's probably what went into it? Be honest, Etta. How do you really feel about Beyon-whatever-her-name-is, singing "At Last" your signature song?

"James said she was "feeling left out of something that was basically mine, that I had done every time you look around." She said she liked Beyoncé's performance, but when asked if she thought she could have done better, James answered, "I think so. That's a shame to say that."

There's no shame in that, Etta! Oh, hell no! Fifteen pounds and a blond wig doesn't make some diva-in-training your replacement.

And bravo for attempting to make a funny about the president. Even Chris Rock said that was impossible.

Etta James Isn't A Beyonce Fan

"At Last" singer Etta James seemed pleased with the performance Beyonce Knowles delivered in Cadillac Records, that is, until she took to the stage at a concert in Seattle not that long ago. YB&F reported that Ms. James was none too pleased with Beyonce's rendition of her signature song for Michelle and Barack Obama's first dance as President and First Lady.

You guys know your president, right? You know, the one with the big ears? Yeah, wait a minute, he ain't my president. He might be yours. He ain't my president. But I tell you, that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she's gonna get her ass whooped.

Barack Obama Shakes It To 'Single Ladies'

Don't expect our new president to step out in a black unitard and heels anytime soon, but Barack Obama has admitted that he's a fan of the Beyonce Knowles dance anthem "Single Ladies."

At the inaugural celebration attended by a host of celebs, Michelle Obama revealed her hubby's penchant for recreating B's trademark ditty. "Mr. President, you didn't tell Beyonce about 'Single Ladies'? Your rendition?" Michelle joked when the president came to shake the singer's hand. Barack jokingly admitted to being a fan, but clarified, "I didn't put on the outfit."
