There's yet another dance competition series being added to the primetime television lineup with the announcement that ABC will premiere Let's Dance.

The series is set to be hosted by none other than the sharp-tongued comedian, Kathy Griffin, and is described by Entertainment Weekly as "a weekly dance-off featuring celebs performing classic dance routines from movies, musicals and music videos." The potential for glitter-encrusted costumes is unlimited.

Speaking of amazing outfits, how about this festive little number Kathy is sporting at her birthday celebration at The Abbey? Oh wait, or is this Kathy Lee Gifford?

Red carpet whore AnnaLynne McCord was noticeably missing from the red carpet Los Angeles premiere of Michael Jackson's film This Is It. The reason for her shocking absence was because it was her sister Rachel McCord's 21st birthday party last night.

The party was held at Sky Bar in the Mondrian Hotel, and the theme was all too fitting. It was a Hollywood theme. These McCord sisters want fame soooooooooooooooo badly, that I wouldn't expect them to have chosen any other theme.

On the "Walk of Fame" arrival carpet the sisters posed as if they were posing to save their lives. It's kind of sad.

Settle, people.  Important things are happening.

Like Katy Perry turning 25 and throwing a giant party for herself.  Apparently, said par-tay had a Charlie and The Chocolate Factory theme and was held at L.A. restaurant The Beach.  Katy asked all her guests to wear white and then got a bit silly with some brightly-colored paint.  Naughty celebrities!

Katy unsurprisingly showed up with her love-buddy Russell Brand, and lovey-doveyness ensued.  I don't have much to say about these two.  They are a steaming cup of 'who cares?' in my book.

But on the bright side, look!  Oompa loompas!  I hope they got overtime for this gig.

Also in attendance were Taylor Swift, who seems to be dwarfing Julianne Hough, Matt Dallas, Jonny Makeup, JoJo, Perez Hilton, and Markus Molinari.

Here is the totally-famous-in-his-own-right Nick Cannon momentarily without that no-name wife of his.  And it looks like he completely forgotten any feuds he may be involved in.

Mariah Carey was indeed on hand Saturday night at the Bank nightclub at the Bellagio Resort Hotel in Las Vegas to celebrate the 29th birthday of her husband of almost a year and a half.

Cannon is the host of the totally almost watchable America's Got Talent.  Good for him!

Things between CNN Headline News anchor, Nancy Grace, and Jon Gosselin seem to be getting as heated as the situation between the warring Gosselin exes. In a segment that aired Wednesday on The Insider, Grace quizzed Jon as to why he was choosing now to stop the reality television cameras from rolling, accusing the patriarch of being greedy.

To this, Jon interjected, "I'm not doing it for the money. I'm doing it to restore family values." He also insisted that he isn't "broke," to which Nancy shot back, "I can see that. You've got on two diamond earrings. You're obviously not broke." Jon smilingly clarified that they are cubic zirconium.

Now, it seems, the tables have turned completely because Jon is the one who wants to have cameras rolling for the birthday party of his eldest children, twins, Cara and Madeline. But the video isn't for TLC, it's for a different television outlet.

His estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, is trying to bar Jon from filming. And here's some photos of Jon leaving his NYC apartment to head to the party.

The event was extravagant! With a price tag of $1.5 million, and with 400 guest in attendance, Simon Cowell better have thrown a swanky party.

Pre-recorded birthday wishes from the likes of the Beckhams and Jennifer Aniston were displayed on giant screens. The venue, a palladian mansion set in 2,500 acres, is a 30-minute drive from Central London and was lit with hundreds of scented candles.

Ryan Seacrest, Ant McPartlin, Amanda Holdin, Chris Hughes, Danni Minogue, Gordon Ramsey, Cheryl Cole, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Terri Seymour, Randy Jackson and Julie Cowell were on hand to help Simon Cowell turn 50-years-old.

Singer Gwen Stefani celebrated her 40th birthday (lets hope I look as fabulous at 40 as she does) at Cecconi's with family and friends at one of my favorite restaurants in West Hollywood, Cecconi's.

Gwen's children Kingston Rossdale and Zuma Rossdale were there, along with husband Gavin Rossdale, and Gwen's dad. On the celebrity front. Kate Beckinsale and No Doubt band member Tony Kanal also joined in on the celebration. Check out all the gorgeousness in the gallery.

Joined by her husband Pete Wentz, and her sister Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 25th birthday at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas yesterday.

Joe Simpson even made an appearance. There was plenty of cake, and the single Jessica Simpson seemed to playful mood by making funny faces throughout the day.

Let's hope Ashlee wished for better acting skills when she blew out the candles on her cake.

Everybody remembers when Anna Nicole Smith died of drug related complications shortly after the birth of her daughter, and the huge custody battle over the little girl, but it seems that little Dannielynn Birkhead is doing well and a happy little girl with daddy Larry. OK! Magazine got an exclusive interview with the Larry right after Dannielynn's third birthday on September 7. Kinda brilliant on Larry's part, right? As they put it, Larry and Dannielynn "are living proof that love can triumph over tragedy."

On 3-year-old Dannielynn: "It seems only weeks ago I was bringing her home and now all this time has gone by and she's bigger and wiser and such a great kid."

On how she's like mommy: "I have photos where they look exactly the same. She loves posing for the camera like Anna, too. And she's going to be tall like her mommy."

On daddy life: "It's hard work and time consuming but it's worth it when I hear her laugh. All my friends are out in bars, but I don't miss it. In fact, I'm morphing into my parents -- I've become corny and sensible."

On missing Mommy Anna: "She misses her mom so much. Right now she's at the age where she's noticing that other children in television and in books have moms. She said to me the other day quite seriously, "Where's my mom?" It was sad but I explained to her, "Your mommy is in the clouds and you'll see her again one day." She knows who her mom is, though -- I make sure of that. Our home is filled with photos of Anna and recognizes her straight away."

From the looks of it, she is quite an adorable little girl and she looks incredibly happy with her dad. Larry says that he wants to be her shield and keep her from worrying about the nasty things. Aww cute. As the daughter of Anna Nicole Smith, I'm pretty positive that she's going to have to deal with a lot of nasty. I'm just hoping she stays off the celebrity path. That very rarely works out well.
