However Taylor Swift was not there, but she's apparently incredibly popular. She beat out Michael Jackson to win Entertainer of the Year and took home a total of five American Music Awards.

The highlight of the night for me was Whitney Houston's performance of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength." While the rasp was present throughout the performance, the girl knows how to command a stage. She belted out the performance until she was almost out of breath. It was a powerful moment.



Michel Jackson ended up with four awards. Other multiple winners included hip-hop acts Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas, with two each.

The Black Eyed Peas were named favorite group in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories. Jay-Z won favorite male artist and favorite album in the rap/hip-hop categories.

Punk rock trio Green Day was named favorite alternative artist. Rascal Flatts won favorite country group for the fourth year in a row.

Even though she's no Victoria's Secret Angel, Fergie got in the spirit of the lingerie fashion show when she stepped out on the stage at The Armory in a emerald green halter top that showed off her underwear. She also donned a black leather and fishnets and made sure that during her performances with the Black Eyed Peas, she showed off plenty of leg while models made their way past.

While the models showed off showgirl-style, over-the-top designs in their skimpy lingerie and giant wings, host Heidi Klum took an unexpected walk down the catwalk in a tailor-made design that showed off her post-baby figure.

Many of the models were seen, veritably dripping in jewelry, with Marissa Miller encasing her pert puppies in a $3 million, diamond-covered bra. Who needs a wonder bra with special lifting powers, with jewels like that?

The stripper who claims she had sex with Josh Duhamel while he was married to new wife, Fergie, is apologizing to the singer for messing around with her man.

34-year-old exotic dancer Nicole Forrester tells Extra, "I thought, 'Nobody's gonna find out. It's not gonna hurt anybody.'" She adds, "I'm sorry that I didn't think of it like I think of it now." Forrester notes, "[Fergie]'s standing by her man, so obviously I'm not wrecking the home too bad, huh?"

Now that's one classy lady.

In fact, she's so classy, she's quit stripping because she says her son told her, "Mom, you're disgusting. I didn't know you had sex with him." Aww, this is truly a heartwarming tale. Can we make her experience into a Lifetime movie starring LeAnn Rimes?

As for Fergie's camp, they continue to staunchly defend Josh, with the pop star's mother speaking out. Terri Jackson does her best to eloquently shut down the rumor by telling RadarOnline, "My daughter's life is amazing and Josh is a great guy--that story is b****** as far as I'm concerned."

Amidst rumors of infidelity in her marriage to Josh Duhamel, Fergie has done what any other self-respecting pop star would do--she headed to Paris, France to party with her fellow Black Eyed Peas. And she's rocking a brand new hairdo for the occasion, complete with giant bangs. Fergie likes to work through her pain by using lots of hair product.

The dick-loving diva hung out at the DJ booth, mixing and mingling with the oh-so-alluring Dita Von Teese, while sipping on wine and champagne at the VIP Room.

To Hair, or Not to Hair, That is the Question. Is it me, or is Stacy 'Fergie' Ferguson using that burnt croissant on top of her head to cover up female patterned baldness? A flight from Melbourne to Perth consisting of 140 passengers were treated to some in-flight entertainment courtesy of the Black Eyed Peas as part of the Mile High Karaoke Plane event.

The audience, which included 30 winners of a contest on board a Virgin Blue flight, was invited to participate in some live karaoke with the Fergie-fronted pop group.

This sounds exactly like a nightmare I had, from which I woke up screaming. Plus, Fergie was really looking nightmarish!

In the midst of Oprah Winfrey kicking off her 24th season, the talk show host is talking up her recent interview with songstress, Whitney Houston.

Winfrey teases the upcoming episode, which airs September 14, by saying of their chat together, "I just wanted to be able to have an honest conversation with her. One woman to another woman. And the day of the interview I literally prayed about that all day long."

While she doesn't dish any details, Oprah reveals, "I just wanted a connection between the two of us. And that is what happened. And that is why I believe it's one of the most, if not the most, powerful interviews I've ever done."

Meanwhile, it was a star-studded outdoor event to kick off this year's season of O's talk show, featuring a public concert on Michigan Avenue in Chicago that included performances from Jennifer Hudson, Black Eyed Peas, Criss Angel, James Taylor, Rascal Flatts and more.

Oprah knows how to do it up right.

Don't you love how these decisions are totally up to the wife? After Fergie announced that she and husband Josh Duhamel were not going to have babies because she wasn't ready, the Black Eyed Peas singer seems to have quickly changed her mind.

The National Enquirer reports that the pair are having some issues and Fergie has agreed to start trying for a baby in order to try and get their marriage back on track. Ready for the best part though? She told him she wanted a baby in the middle of a Dodgers game.

Apparently, Josh was the one begging to start a family, but Fergie didn't think she could give up her hard working, hard partying ways. I guess when you're marriage in the rocks you'll do anything though. The two are going to start trying after the Black Eyed Peas tour end in fall. Don't forget guys: baby means very little time for pole dancing.

And what about that baseball game? A close friend told the Enquirer that, "Fergie turned to Josh right in the middle of the baseball game and told him she wanted a baby to make their lives complete. She says pregnancy will be a crash course in cleaning up her act."

Josh is obviously thrilled by this and can't wait to have a baby with Fergie. Personally I think having a baby to help a marriage is never a good thing, but maybe it'll work for them? I don't know how I'd feel about this baby though. I don't find Fergie particularly attractive, but Josh is super hot. This could be one interesting child.

The Black Eyed Peas just seem to be full of controversial stuff recently. First, Will.i.am attacks Perez Hilton, which, you know, is fine, and now the band is being accused of plagiarism.

It seems that their latest single "Party All The Time" bears a striking resemblance to "Mancry" by Freeland. Both songs start in basically the exact same way, and "Party All The Time" carries it all the way through the song.

In reaction to the accusation, the Black Eyed Peas told the Times of Malta that it was not plagiarism, but that their manager had offered them a beat and it was just a case of "working together." "It was a lack of finalizing legalities before releasing the record, clearance was not done and that was what it was about."

Listen kids, plagiarism is never good. Don't you remember all your teachers telling you that in school? It can only get you into trouble. Or it can get you publicity. But really, there are other ways to get publicity. Streaking perhaps?

Now that the dust has cleared surrounding the post-Much Music Awards fiasco between Black Eyed Peas musician Will.i.am and Perez Hilton, the blogger is claiming that it was the band's tour manager, Polo Molina, who struck him.

Initially, Hilton posted on his Twitter account that Will.i.am was physically violent during a confrontation, but in later statements revealed that he had been punched in the face by Molina.

Will.i.am's first response was to post a video blog and now, he's released a statement about the incident. In it, he says, "I do not condone harassment or violence of any kind," and adds, "I believe that the truth will speak for itself once the details of the events are fully presented."

Referring to Hilton's alleged outburst during his interaction with Will.i.am, the musician says, "Hateful slurs...Racial or gay should not be used as verbal weapons to provoke violence."

Where is the love, y'all?
