Looking over-the-top glamorous, even in a simple black tank top, jeans and a pair of high heels, Blake Lively, is classy casual as she reportedly spends the morning scouting for an upcoming film in Boston with Ben Affleck.

However, on her birthday, the 22-year-old managed to squeeze in some celebrating time. The star donned a dress from the Kate Moss for Topshop line and hit up the Tiffany & Co. and InStyle party celebrating Frank Gehry and tennis star, Maria Sharapova. At the shindig, the Gossip Girl star was presented with a chocolate birthday cake.

As for her plans for the late evening, Lively told People magazine, "I have nothing planned. I'm going to a lovely dinner, but it's a surprise."

Those ad wizards at The CW are so clever. Last year, Gossip Girl ran with OMG, but this year it's WTF. Not as in what it typically means, but as in "Watch this fall."



Meanwhile, Chace Crawford is back to work after attending the Teen Choice Awards and kissing Ashley Greene. He's seen here with new TV love played by Joanna Garcia. Blake Lively was looking chic in a low-cut navy mini dress, beige heels and a large orange, snakeskin handbag.

After what has seemed like a ridiculously long period of time, Kelly Rutherford has finally settled her contentious custody battle with ex-husband Daniel Giersch. According to US Magazine, Kelly and Daniel will share joint legal and physical of their two children Hermes, 2, and Helena, who was just born a little while ago.

Both parents will be relocating to New York while Kelly shoots this season of Gossip Girl, and according to court documents both must also attend co-parenting counseling sessions. Kelly doesn't see her and Daniel having a good relationship, although they will probably try to put on a nice face for the kids.

Wow. No wonder she didn't tell him about their daughter's birth. I think it was the whole "my husband is not paying for anything" that finally did the court in. You can't look at a pregnant woman who is probably crying over her children and not give them to her. Let's just hope that her Gossip Girl character has less drama than Kelly did this year. Pssh, whatever, Gossip Girl has got to have more drama! Yayz!

Hilary Duff spent her first day among the gossip today on the Gossip Girl. In case you haven't heard, Hilary is joining the cast of the CW show as Olivia Burke, a movie star attending NYU who forms a special bond with Dan, Penn Badgley's character.

No one is quite sure how the lovely people over at Gossip Girl are going to approach the fact that Blake Lively's Serena is supposed to be going to Brown. Does she transfer to NYU or does she spend every weekend back home?

Plus! How is she going to feel that a movie star has taken her place as Dan's woman? Frankly, I don't care as much about that as I do about how hot Chace Crawford is going to look this season. Seriously. Look at those pictures. The man is some sort of Grecian god. And the fact that he is still best friends with co-star Ed Westwick makes me happy. Very happy.

Good luck with Gossip Girl, Hilary. She can be super bitchie if she doesn't like.

Things are going to be shaken up this season on Gossip Girl. Along the Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester's characters, pairing up, look for Olivia (Hilary Duff), likes that Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) doesn't recognize her as a famous movie star., and Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan) are going to get it on hot and heavy.

Back to the photos. Not loving either of Blair's outfits, although I totally understand the Uggs. She needed to preserve and protect her tools of the "trade."

Yet another willowy blond is admitting that she's got her genes to thank for her covergirl looks. However, unlike Gwyneth Paltrow, this one doesn't engage in daily, hours-long workouts to compensate for a hearty appetite.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively confessed to UK Glamour--on which she graces the cover--that she definitely likes to eat. During a day of filming that had her wearing her underwear, Lively says, "On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips and coke. Afterwards, I thought, 'I probably shouldn't have done that.' But whatever." And it sounds like it's exactly how her boyfriend Penn Badgley likes it.

And how about compensating in the gym? Not likely, says Blake. "I have never worked out, but I know you feel better when you do, so I am planning on getting a trainer."
