Everybody was glam to the max (oh yes, I'm bringing "to the max" back)
and nobody shone brighter on the red carpet than the ladies.

Nina Ricci. With a slit that went up her leg, she showed off some leg without going over the top with the sexiness.

Anna Paquin kept her look elegant, yet simple, in an aubergine, strappy
Herve Leroux
dress and an upswept do that showed off her shoulders and (most
importantly to her on-screen vampire boyfriend) that lovely neck of
hers.
Eva Mendes wore a white gown from Dior
with a hefty turquoise necklace. The white bow was kind of intense, but
somehow, I think it works. At least it's different, right?
As for
Maggie Gyllenhaal, I fell like so much of what she wears
might look better in person rather than the way it photographs. I'm not
so sure the Lanvin animal print is hanging on her quite the way the
designer had intended.
