Fame is an addictive thing for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. Not content with being on The Hills, the married duo is looking to land their own reality show.

The couple told the Associated Press that they've been hawking the notion to several networks.

Currently, the pair is making the media rounds to promote a new book they've penned titled, How To Be Famous: Our Guide To Looking The Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture.

The Pratts feel that The Hills doesn't show enough of their complex existence. "You don't get to see our everyday lives and what we do," Heidi Pratt told AP.

Oh my god. Who would want to actually witness their daily lives?

After being decimated in an interview this past June by weatherman, Al Roker, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were hoping to face off with the Today show correspondent in an appearance on the morning talk show this morning.

However, a Today show rep reveals to Us Weekly, "Due to a change in the show's schedule, we had to cancel the interview with Spencer and Heidi Pratt." As a result, the twosome will not have an opportunity to promote their new book, How To Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture. As if people who actually like them can read.

Ha! Lesson number one, don't piss off Al Roker! Interview denied!

It was a who's who of Hollywood's beautiful people last night at the Prada Store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA Friday night.

Zoe Saldana and Chloe Sevigny wore the same bra-revealing outfit albeit in different colors and fabrics. Zoe pulled it off better. Twilight's Elisabeth Reaser wore some unfortunate shoes; cute dress though.

Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel kept things dark, while Rose McGowan went for a white dress and posed her ass off on the red carpet. Loved Christina Ricci's overall look - great hair.

Erstwhile beauty queen, Carrie Prejean, was looking for the opportunity to sell her book, reciting nearly verbatim the same speech from her Today show appearance about what she claims is the double standard faced by conservative women in the liberal media on Larry King Live when the host threw a wrench into her rehearsed performance.

After Prejean gave her spiel, Larry King asked the former Miss California USA why she had dropped her claims of religious discrimination, libel and slander against the Pageant. Larry insisted, "Why settle since you had a fight to carry on?"

Carrie refused to discuss any details of the settlement and when King continued pressing, she said, "Larry you're being inappropriate. You really are." The two continued to banter, with Carrie appearing to threaten to leave the interview after removing her microphone. Yeah, she's really not interested in chatting about that sex tape of hers, in case you didn't notice.

After the interview, Anderson Cooper chatted about the incident on his show with another CNN correspondent, who explained that Prejean claims she was preparing to exit the interview early because she was told she wouldn't have to take questions from callers. To this, Anderson summed the entire episode perfectly by saying, "Bizarre." (Watch that clip after the jump.)

Photographer, Mark Liddell, has amassed an impressive portfolio of stories and photographs taken of Hollywood celebrities including Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears and Cindy Crawford, just to name a few.

All of these famous faces are included in Liddell's new book, Exposed: 10 Years in Hollywood, along with personal anecdotes related by the photographer, including his admission that photographing Halle Berry was exceedingly difficult because her beauty made him nervous.

Alba and Hilton were on hand at Liddell's book party to support the photog's book launch--and most likely to ensure that he got their good sides.

Now that is quite a gorgeous foursome. How interesting that Rutina Wesley, the only human among the bunch, is the one comfortable baring her teeth.

Famed Vampire Chronicles author Anne Rice is in the midst of promoting her new book, which focuses on angels. Now that the author has moved on from her bloodthirsty pursuits, she's been tuning into some vampire stories by other people. Rice admits, "I really enjoy the HBO series True Blood." When I was writing my own, I wouldn't have wanted to be influenced."

While she hasn't read any of the Twilight books, Anne did watch the movie and sounded off on it as well. She adds, "I think many girls mature much earlier than boys, and they are frustrated when they approach young boys for love or protection.  Hence the fantasy of a wise and protective vampire coming into the life of a young girl who, of course, appreciates him in a special way."

I like them both, but there's something about those vampires from the Bayou that really get me going.

In his new memoir, Open, tennis star Andre Agassi opens up about his personal life, tackling such issues as drug use, his marriage to Brooke Shields and the loss of his hair.

Andre admits that he was initially nervous to admit that he had regularly used crystal meth in the late 90s. He claims, "I was worried for a moment, but not for long. ... I wore my heart on my sleeve and my emotions were always written on my face. I was actually excited about telling the world the whole story."

As for the extent of his drug use, Agassi explains, "I can't speak to addiction, but a lot of people would say that if you're using anything as an escape, you have a problem."

I'm glad he was able to get this off his back, but if you're looking for serious, mind-blowing bombshell revelations, I know just the thing for you.

It was eleven years ago that Alicia Silverstone first embraced her the vegan lifestyle that she claims made her the happy-go-lucky gal you see today.

The Clueless actress chatted with MTV News about her cook book, entitled, The Kind Diet, which she credits for a number of positive health benefits.

Alicia explains, "I felt so much better, and I used to take an asthma inhaler and I used to get allergy shots--and all that stuff went away. And my skin got great." She summarizes the tome by saying, "What I'm really trying to do is give you all the most valid information available in a really concise, fun way. I tried making it a really fun conversation."

Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to maintain my healthy glow from bathing in the blood of virgins.

Granted, it's my opinion that fact-checking is for the birds, but I'm not a journalist. In an article on the FOX News website, quotes from Kathy Griffin currently promoting her new book, Official Book Club Selection, were mistakenly attributed to Kathy Lee Gifford. Ha! Glorious!

Sadly, the quotes concerning politics were corrected, effectively destroying the hilarity. Griffin's quote to Entertainment Tonight was, "Hollywood hates on Republicans because they feel the Republicans and conservatives are about repression and Hollywood is about expression. That sounds kind of smart."

This segues into a quote from wacky daytime talk show host, Gifford, who recently said of President Barack Obama, "I would like to see him listen more to Middle America. They're trying to have their voice heard but they're being dismissed as a mob or Astroturf or different things."

Here's the Cliff Notes version, FOX News: Kathy Lee Gifford is the one slowly driving Hoda Kotb completely insane and Kathy Griffin is the one surrounded by a mob of admiring gays with multiple Emmys soldered to the hood of her car.
