Octomom Nadya Suleman Snags Reality TV Show & Book Deal

Mother of 14, Nadya Suleman has snagged herself an extension on those 15 minutes of fame of hers. Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets in January has signed a deal to allow a reality TV series to be produced about her life as a single mother of 14. In addition, Nadya will be co-writing a book with ghostwriter Wendy Lee.

Jeff Czech, Nadya's lawyer, explains that the series will be a "quasi-reality" show and says, "She's trying to find the middle ground and feels this approach will work best." But don't expect her to follow in the footsteps of TLC's Jon & Kate Gosselin.

Czech admits, "She's been watching them a bit lately and thinks it's boring." Boring? Adultery, crazy budgetary restrictions, severe blond wedge haircuts? Nadya, are we talking about the same people here?

Kanye West Publishes A Book, Not Interested In Reading

Boasting that authors who "write novels" are "so self-absorbed," rapper Kanye West has penned a tome himself entitled Thank You and You're Welcome. The 52-page "collection of thoughts and theories" was co-written with J. Sakiya Sandifer reads more like a collection of fortune cookie phrases and even has several blank pages.

One page says simply, "I hate the word hate!" while another section says, "Life is 5% what happens and 95% how you react!" There's some math for you guys. The sayings have been dubbed "Kanye-isms" by the hip-hop artist and were printed to clear up any confusion about quotes attributed to West.

Kanye says of his literary endeavor, "I am not a fan of books. I would never want a book's autograph." Similarly, we're guessing he would not want to take a book behind the middle school and get it pregnant. West adds, "I am a proud non-reader of books. I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life."

There you go, folks. The voice of a generation has spoken.

Skinny Tori Spelling Sells 'Mommywood'

After baby number two, Tori Spelling looks thinner than ever here at the launch of her book Mommywood. I'm not exactly sure what this latest piece of literary genius is from Tori, but I'm going to hazard a guess that it's going to piss off her mother Candy Spelling. I have trouble believing Tori's story that "There's no feud."

Especially now that her mother has addressed her in an open letter on her website (check out the letter here). Candy writes, "Well, I'm stepping up. Call me, write me, text me." Candy closes the letter by writing, "I want a relationship with you and my grandchildren." You can tell she means it by the pink background.

These two just keep hurling books back and forth at one another. And it looks like that activity burns a lot of calories, cause Tori is quite emaciated.

The reality TV star has been busy guest-starring on 90210 and it appears that the pressure of staying as thin as her young costars is getting to the 35-year-old actress. She needs to write a cookbook next.

LeAnn Rimes Thinks People Are Fascinated By Her Personal Life

LeAnn, LeAnn, LeAnn. LeAnn Rimes, the country singer/actress, is under the impression that we really care what goes on in her life. Rimes said, "I've grown up in the press my whole life," she said on Monday's Today show, while promoting her new book, What I Cannot Change. "I think people are fascinated with my personal life. And I totally get it."

Let me clue you in a little LeAnn. People really only cared about your life when there were the early rumors that you're husband, Dean Sheremet, was gay, and then when you most likely did the deed with Eddie Cibrian. All those years in between, we really didn't care that much.

Johnny Depp Starts Filming 'The Rum Diary' In Puerto Rico

Having portrayed author Hunter S. Thompson on screen in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Johnny Depp is more than intimately familiar with the author's work and personal life. So the reclusive actor was the perfect choice to portray Thompson's protagonist Paul Kemp in The Rum Diary.

A thinly veiled version of the author himself, Paul Kemp is a washed-up, hard-drinking journalist who moves to Puerto Rico to write for a small newspaper. And so we find our beloved Johnny dressed in dapper late-50s glam, smiling and waving as he films scenes for the film, which is shooting on location in Puerto Rico.

Very nice. I find I haven't been getting my daily dose of Depp lately, as recommended by the Food and Drug Administration.

Candy Spelling Breaks Her Silence, But Not To Daughter Tori

Those Spelling women sure are prolific wordsmiths. Just a year after Tori Spelling's book telling her side of her feud with mother Candy Spelling entitled sTori Telling, her mother's now come out with a tome of her own. Candy's memoir, Stories From Candyland, has been published and she's hard at work promoting the hell out of it.

The 63-year-old grandmother confessed to People the full extent of her estrangement from her daughter and grandchildren, "I don't see Tori and Dean anymore. I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I've never met Stella."

These people need to stop wasting their time coming up with punny titles for tell-all books and sit down and hash out their issues. Or at least have the decency to just do reality shows. I don't have time to read all this crap.

Alyssa Milano Is 'Safe At Home'

Sports enthusiast, Alyssa Milano, has penned a book about her pursuits entitled Safe at Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic. Even though the former child star is an avid hockey fan, it's her passion for baseball that is strongest.

Alyssa's love for the game has even spilled over into the Charmed star's love life. Milano confessed, "I dated three pitchers, which was an obvious pattern that needed to be broken."

Does that mean she struck out? Ha! Sports puns are the best. Except that I'm not much of a sports person, except in very specific situations.
