Miley Cyrus Has A Broken Heart

OK, so maybe it's not broken, but it is ticking a little faster than a normal heart does. So it's only slightly busted.

In her memoir, Miles to Go, Miley Cyrus admits that she suffers from tachycardia, meaning that the 16-year-old pop singer's resting heart rate is higher than the normal range. Miley admits, "The type of tachycardia I have isn't dangerous. It won't hurt me, but it does bother me."

Let's be honest here. The Jonas Brothers pose a bigger threat to Miley's heart.

Miley Cyrus Launches 'Miles To Go'

Wondering what Miley Cyrus has done in her 16 years on this planet? Well, the Disney star has chronicled her career as a singer, actress and all around tween idol in her autobiography Miles to Go which she launched at an event here at Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue.

Miley dishes on her first love, whom she refers to as Prince Charming, but we all know is Nick Jonas, bullies in middle school and her family.

Sadly, the most juicy parts undoubtedly involve her current boyfriend Justin Gaston whose most recent publishing endeavor is probably more of a page turner than this G-rated gem of non-fiction.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Bethenny Frankel Wants To Make Oprah 'Skinny'

According to the star of The Real Housewives of New York City and natural foods chef, Bethenney Frankel, the word "diet" is "so 80s."

She claims that her book Naturally Skinny is all about how to enjoy eating without depriving yourselves of the joys of chocolate cake or a good margarita.

Frankel claims that "skinny" is a state of mind, professing admiration for curvaceous stars versus "little trolls holding large cups of coffee with giant sunglasses bigger than their waists." Three cheers to that! And she claims to have the solution to Oprah's battle with the bulge.

News Bites: Kathy Griffin Gets A Book Deal

-The New York Observer is reporting that comedian and Emmy award-winning reality TV star Kathy Griffin has just penned a $2 million book deal to write her memoirs. We're hoping there will be a chapter dedicated to Celine Dion and Whitney Houston a piece.

-Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima has eloped with Los Angeles Clippers guard Marko Jaric in an intimate ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. However, Lima claims that the MySpace page hinting that she might be pregnant is a fake. According to her rep, "Marko and Aridana are very happy, but not with child."

-Sean Penn didn't party with the producers of Milk at their private post-Oscar party held at BLT Steak on Sunset Boulevard. We're hoping it's because he opted to shower his wife Robin Wright Penn with flowers and lots of special attention after NEGLECTING TO MENTION HER IN HIS ACCEPTANCE SPEECH. Dude, after last year's shenanigans, it's the least you can do.

Sanjaya Malakar Has A Story To Tell

Sanjaya Malakar is the contestant from the last season of American Idol who had the horsey head, and couldn't sing, yet somehow gaily grinned his way into America's heart. Well, he's lost the horsey head and replaced it with a sort of Rico Suave/drug dealer mop and written a book about his experience on Idol. It's called Dancing To The Music In My Head and it's being released at the same time as his debut cd with the same title. And why did Sanjaya feel that he needed to tell his story in book form? Because he wants in on the lucrative VH-1 reality show business. No, he felt he had a interesting story.

"I realized that I had a story that no other past contestant has said," he said.

What that story is consists of the revelation that you have to audition three times before you even make it in front of Paula, Simon, Yo Dog, and the new gal. Also, Simon Cowell's mean. Rarely has such deeply investigative reporting seen it to the page.

"His job is to really just tell exactly what he thinks," Malakar said about Simon. "Whether that's brutal or not."

Brad Pitt Doesn't Google Himself, Angie's Bodyguard To Tell All

Not wanting to hear all the nasty, evil things that us Internet gossipmongers have to say about him, Brad Pitt claims that he has never typed his name into the monster search engine. Pitt maintains that part of the reason is that he's not very tech savvy.

"Dear God. No. Never. First of all, I don't really know how to operate a computer," he said when asked if he was a self-Googler.  And he's really not going to want to read anything after the reported tell-all book comes out by a former member of the couple's security detail.

In Touch claims that Angelina Jolie's former body guard, Brett, never signed a confidentiality agreement during his time of employment. Brett, who was fired last year, will dish "all the sordid details of how they (Pitt and Jolie) got together while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston," claims a snitch.

Dayum. This sounds like future required reading.

EXCLUSIVE: Tila Tequila: Still Pimpin' That Book

Continuing literary cross-country tour to sell her hardbound tome of sage dating advice, Tila Tequila hit up Los Angeles for a Hooking Up With Tila Tequila book signing at the Borders at Sunset and Vine.

Tila must be doing something right (i.e. showing lots and lots of boob) because she attracted hundreds of fans, who waited patiently for hours for the opportunity to talk with their (*ahem*) idol.

Orally-gifted, Tila took the opportunity to address her adoring fans, one of which turned out to be her on-again, off-again light-hearted love interest Courtenay Semel.  Tila actually poked fun at her lady-love's temper during this video clip, Semel give her girl a peck on the cheek and left her love with a smile on her face. 



Oh those two would warm the cockles of my heart if my heart cockles hadn't dried up and fallen off years ago. Check back tomorrow for more exclusive video from the event.

Michael Phelps Fans Have No Limit!

Fans had to wait in line for their turn to have their copies of US swimmer Michael Phelps' book No Limits: The Will To Succeed be autographed at a bookstore in Los Angeles, yesterday. Hundreds of fans lined up in and outside the Borders Bookstore to have their copies signed, who became the most decorated Olympic swimmer in history with 14 gold medals from Beijing and Athens, including a record eight gold in China, the most by an athlete at any single games.

Hopefully, Michael will get a haircut before his next book signing. The hottie is looking a tad to shaggy these days.

News Bites: Anne Hathaway Fetches A Pretty Penny

-At the Cracked X-mas Fundraiser in Los Angeles, a charity auction for a date with Anne Hathaway resulted in a $12,000 winning bid for a night out with the Rachel Getting Married actress. As the dollar amount kept increasing, the star told the crowd, "I'm blushing. Wow, I feel really good right now."

-Perez Hilton has a book coming out. We're guessing it's a picture book with some cleverly drawn squiggles. A perfect holiday present for those friends and family who think reading looks like fun, but are intimidated by all the thinking that usually goes along with it.

-An arrest warrant has been issued by Beverly Hills police for Shaha Mishaal Adham in the shooting of Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott, who remains in critical condition at a hospital in L.A. Not yet in custody is the other suspect in the case, Brian Scofield.
