Lindsay's many spending sprees, stays at fancy hotels like the Four Seasons here, as well as other "extra-curricular" activities have cost the actress a pretty penny. And she's looking to try and get herself back to in the black by penning her memoirs. Lindsay's rep has denied reports that the actress is so broke at the moment, she's had to borrow $10,000 from Steve-O, but her friends paint a different picture of her financial situation.

"She regrets all the cash she threw around the last couple years," reveals an inside source to OK! magazine. They say that the book could help her stabilize her finances. I can only imagine the conversation taking place between her and some other Four Seasons guests as they laugh gaily while waiting for the valet. "You like my Ramones t-shirt? Me too! Isn't Urban Outfitters the best?"

I would read this one in a heartbeat. Word is that George Michael is planning on writing a tell-all book. Hot. I hope he tells about what it was like being gay in WHAM! And being gay in the restroom in a Los Angeles park! And gay in the bushes in a park in London! And gay behind the wheel, passed out high at an intersection! He's lived! And gone through a lot of weed and personal lubricant! And refuses to get an HIV test, which is kinda dumb but interesting. He has signed a "multimullionpound" deal with HarperCollins to write an "all-access" (fitting) autobiography "entirely himself". Good, I hate ghost writers. I don't even want it edited! George Michael has some rad songs, and probably has seen the inside of 75% of the public restrooms here and in the UK! He should call it :Glory Hole: The George Michael Story"! It's going on my Amazon list and buy "Freedom 90" off iTunes right this second. The book is reported to come out next fall.

Candace Bushnell's former manager Clifford Streit is shopping around a book about the early days of "Sex and the City" that's supposedly chock full of tell-all. Candace's columns were the basis for the early "Sex and the City" episodes and Carrie Bradshaw is totally based on her. The book is called "Unbecoming Stanford" because Carrie's gay friend Stanford Blatch was based on him. Why anyone would want gossip from the early days of "Sex and the City", I don't know. Wasn't that like 1982? Streit's book proposal details a real-life affair between two of the actorss that would piss people off. Hmm. Carrie and Big for reals? Early days of "Sex and the City"? Did Cynthia Nixon really do it with Skippy before she came out? The book also talks about how Kim Cattrall was a "natural scene-stealer" which may have led to the initial tension between her and Sarah Jessica-Parker. Does this sound REALLY boring to anyone else? Jerry Seinfeld's wife Jessica released a book called "Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Getting Your Kids Eating Good Food," in 2007 six months after Missy Chase Lapine's book "The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals" came out. Both books are about how to get your kid to eat their veggies by subterfuge or something. Someone should have worked that grift on me as a kid. Maybe I wouldn't have this Ring-Ding addiction. Lapine is now suing Jessica Seinfeld for plagarism and including Jerry in the suit for "slanderous attacks" against her. Jerry apparently went on David Letterman and dismissed Lapine as a wackjob who was accusing his wife of "vegetable plagarism". Ok, Seinfeld's annoying but that's funny. He also mentioned that Lapine had a three word name, and that "many of the three name people become assassins". HAH! Wow, take that Missy. Lapine is the former publisher of "Eating Well" magazine, and claims she researched her book for five years. Jessica Seinfeld probably put a marshmallow on a carrot one day and wrote about it.

Tom Cruise may unleash a $100 million dollar lawsuit against author Andrew Morton whose new book insinuates that Suri Cruise's real father is....L Ron Hubbard's frozen sperm. Ewwww. This is some science-fiction soap opera shite! Morton's unauthorized biography of Tom Cruise refers to Suri Cruise as "Rosemary's Baby" and says that Katie Holmes was turkey basted with the Scientology founders seed to create the next Scientology superbaby or something.

The book is also full of other incredibly hot tidbits. Morton claims that Cruise is actually the second-highest member in the Scientology hierarchy, and that the Scientologists once installed a field of wildflowers for Tom and ex-wife Nicole Kidman to run through. Hay fever. Why Nicole didn't immediately run screaming is now evident. When you first enter into the church, they have you make an "audit" tape revealing your darkest secrets.

There's allegedly one Nicole made and it's supposed to be sexy talk. So she doesn't want that getting out. Paul Bloch of gay space queen's staff says "the author never interviewed anyone close to Tom Cruise. If they had, there would have been no book to be written." And Block went on to call the book "a vicious and false attack on a man, his religion and his family." It's kind of a howl to call Suri Rosemary's Baby, but when she reaches 18 and calls down the legion of Xenu star destroyers to kill all of us, we'll know where Morton was coming from.

Holy crap, this man is pretty. I thought he was a soap opera star, but apparently he's some British race-car driver named Lewis Hamilton. And here he is at signing for his book (those seem to be popular these days...) about his life's story. The twenty-two-year-old has been surrounded by a media frenzy in his native England, over his decision to relocated to Switzerland. His British fans are in an uproar, saying that the young Formula One driver is turning his back on his fans and his country. Hamilton says it isn't so.

"I love my fans; not only in the UK, but all around the world," Hamilton said. "I love making people happy. It gives me great pleasure to have someone come up to me and ask me for a picture or an autograph. It's a great feeling for anyone. There's no doubt in my mind that I love my fans and I love spending as much time as I can with them. I'm at a point in my life where I have an opportunity to see the world and I've chosen Switzerland. For me, it's not a tax issue because I've been in England for the past few years and I've been paying my taxes and it's really not an issue - you'd have to ask my management about that."

I don't blame him, really. I'd move to Switzerland if I could. That whole country is built on the values I hold most dear--cheese, chocolate and cheese.

Stars of HBO's "Entourage," Adrian Grenier and Kevin Connolly are chilling at Borders, promoting the book about the series at a book signing. I really love that save for the fact that I happen to know that Adrian Grenier is a famous actor, I would have otherwise assumed that he was a friendly-looking young homeless man, who had wandered into Borders, hoping to beg enough change for a coffee and accidentally ended up in these pictures. Seriously, there's a lot of hair on that guy from the neck up and it appears to be slowly, but surely taking over his face.

Not to betray my queer brethren, but my money's on Fitty. In fact, I fear for Lance's bone structure. Ok, they're not really going to fight. They just had books come out at the same time on Tuesday night and did some play-trash talking. Seriously, I'd like to see them fight, though. Again, not to turn my back on my people, but all I can imagine is 50 coming after Lance while he screams and runs for the knife drawer in the kitchen. Lance Bass' book "Out of Sync" and 50 Cent's coffe-table book "50x50" are stepping in the ring.

"He doesn't stand a chance," Senor Cent told me at the launch of his coffee-table tome, "50 x 50."

"With me, everything's a competition, so I bet you the end of next week, I'll be moving more copies than him," Fitty said over dinner at Philippe. "This is the same competition - this is Kanye West and 50 Cent all over again!"

Twenty minutes later, at Azza, Bass was happy to hit back.

"50's going down, that's all I have to say," he said while promoting his memoir, "Out of Sync."

"50, I don't want to playa-hate, but there's a lot that my book has" that his doesn't.

Lance met his "space training" (remember that attempt to draw attention away from the gay?) and his "relationships with the guys". Which I think he means the guys in N*Sync. I think. Does he mean guys in general? True. 50 Cent's been to prison but he's made it pretty clear in the past he doesn't swing that way and doesn't feel like anybody else should. So Lance has that on him. Seriously, though, if Lance EVEN has a Joey Fatone "bro-job" story - he'd goddamn better tell it or I'm citing the Freedom of Information act. I want size, width, girth, circumference, audio and video. In a report. In a binder. With a multimedia laser show accompanying it.

I don't know quite what to say about this video that Page Six pointed us to for " The Manny,"Holly Peterson's new novel. The video stars German-born Johannes Huebl as the Manny, along with model/actress Karen Duffy, Cristina Cuomo and Carole Radziwill. It's bizarre, humorous, insulting and childish all wrapped up in one.

While Anna Wintour is running Vogue, making a documentary and no doubt creating image conscious thoughts in women everywhere, she managed to squeeze in time to pen a foreward for the latest fashion must have. The addition to the literature world will be available in October.

A $75 "Style Bible" is set to hit a coffee table near you. The good book, entitled "Stylist: The Creation of Style," was concocted by Rizzoli Books. The top 16 trendsetters will comprise a 272 page dedication. Paul Cavaco, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Grace Coddington, Edward Enninful, Lori Goldstein, Tonne Goodman, Andrea Lieberman, Polly Mellon, Camilla Nickerson, Carine Roitfeld, Venetia Scott, Karl Templer, Melanie Ward, Alex White, Brana Wolf, and Joe Zee have all made the cut as the crème de la crème of style. Photos will accompany interviews from the portfolios of Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, and Annie Leibovitz.
