The Brad Pitt Family Donates $1 Million To St. John's Hospital

On the heels of Brad Pitt purchasing a very expensive piece of art for his collection, he uses his money to do some good. Doug Pitt announced the Brad Pitt family, Doug and Lisa Pitt and Rob and Julie Neal will donate $1 million to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at St. John's. In honor of their mother, the center will be renamed St. John's Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.

The endowment fund will also go toward building a new pediatric unit, a 10-bedroom hospital-based Ronald McDonald house and doubling the size of the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. St. John's is matching the $1 million donation to help fund the expansion.

Kudos to the Pitt family for the donation!

Brad Pitt Takes A Trip To The Art Basel In Switzerland

And why shouldn't he? Brad Pitt, is in Switzerland for the international art show Art 40 Basel. An avid art fan, Brad is taking in contemporary art works by over 2500 artists from more than 300 leading art galleries from all continents.

He must be in heaven. The question is, did he bring any of the kids, because it's been way too long since we've had a sighting of any of them.

Angelina Jolie Most Powerful Celebrity, Not Splitting From Brad Pitt

Forbes has come out with its annual Celebrity 100 List and pouty-lipped actress Angelina Jolie has found herself in the top spot for 2009, knocking out Oprah Winfrey from the top spot.

The talk show host was named number one two years in a row, but this year, it was Jolie's international fame that rocketed her past Winfrey, who grossed an impressive $275 million in 2008 over Angie's $27 million.

As for her personal life, a rep for Jolie and partner Brad Pitt has denied the report made by the National Enquirer that the couple are in the process of making a split "official." The claim is "not true," according to their mouthpiece. Of course, how could they split? Angie's so powerful, she probably has her own gravitational pull at this point.

Brad Pitt Begins Work On New Movie 'Moneyball'

Brad Pitt began a little pre-production work on his latest movie Moneyball, which is based off the 2003 book, Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game. The film centers around the Oakland Athletics baseball team. Pitt will play Billy Beane, the A's general manager who assembled the team on shoestring budget with new technology to draft players.

Casting is being held right now for baseball players, and filming will begin next week. However, the film won't be released until 2011.

According to the director of the film, Steven Soderbergh, "I want it to be really funny and entertaining, and I want you to not realize how much information is being thrown at you because you're having fun."

Other than promoting his upcoming Inglourious Basterds, Brad has been spending time with the kids while his partner Angelina Jolie has been filming Salt. "Angie's been working, and I've got to be home a lot with the kids," he said. "Let me be the cliche -- it's really rewarding."

Other than the constant cleaning of pee off of himself, I imagine.

Spike TV Guys Choice Awards: Halle Berry Wows Everyone

Although Megan Fox (who was elsewhere on the planet last night) was awarded the prize for Hottest Girl On the Planet at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, Halle Berry deservedly was the woman who took home the honor of Decade of Hotness. The mother-of-one showed off her signature super-short hairdo in a slinky black dress that flaunted her assets. She celebrated her decade of hotness by making out with Jamie Foxx onstage. Things got STEAMY! Witness the ass-grab.

Sacha Baron Cohen graced the stage in an adorable Bruno outfit (a leopard print has never worked so well on a man before) to pick up his Funniest M.F. Award. It was Mel Gibson who kicked off the award show by riding in on horse and gave a Braveheart-esque opening speech. He awarded Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and director David Fincher, who's Fight Club was inducted into the "Guy Movie Hall of Fame."

Brad Pitt, of course, helped kick up the level of star wattage at the event. His partner Angelina Jolie won the prize for Femme Fatale. Mila Kunis, awarded Hottest "Mila," kept it simple and sassy in a black dress.

Brad Pitt Teases Mel Gibson About His 'Sugar Tits'

At Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards yesterday in Los Angeles, Brad Pitt showed off his more playful side when he went on stage to accept an award (along with Edward Norton) for Fight Club.

The film was inducted into the Guy Hall of Fame--a prize announced by Mel Gibson--and upon accepting the honor, Pitt told Mel, "Thanks, sugar tits!" Aww, that makes me nostalgic.

After that, Pitt took the opportunity to plug his new film Inglourious Basterds and informed the audience, "Thank you for the greatest moment of my fucking life!" I'm sure Mel feels the same way.

Happy Birthday Shiloh Jolie Pitt!

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt is three years old today. It seems just like yesterday when all the hell broke loose and the most beautiful baby in the world was born to the most beautiful woman in the world. According to Shiloh's "official" Twitter, she got a chocolate playhouse for her birthday, and Hugh Jackman will be performing at her party.

Born in Namibia, in Africa, Shiloh's birth was a birth that was heard around the world. Her baby pics were sold for more than $7 million, and she was the first baby to become immortalized in wax by Madame Tussaud's.

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Partied The Night Away In Cannes

After attending the screening of Inglourious Basterds at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, the couple hit up the after party. The festivities were held at Baoli, a club on the beach in Cannes, France around 10:30 PM. Also in attendance were Quentin Tarantino, Mike Myers, B.J. Novak, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson.

Not ones to skimp on security, Brangelina brought eight bodyguards with them, who occasionally linked arms to form a chain around the couple.

A source told Usmagazine, As servers dressed in World War II army gear passed around drinks, Jolie was "laughing and smiling and enjoying her conversations. Brad was also smiling, but not laughing," the source said. "He looked tired ... he seemed more reserved than Angelina."

Of course he's tired, he's got six kids at home!

Quentin Tarantino Got Brad Pitt Wasted To Star In 'Inglourious Basterds'

All it took for director Quentin Tarantino to convince Brad Pitt to star in Inglourious Basterds, which recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival, was several bottles of wine and a mysterious sort of smoking device.

The 45-year-old actor explained that before he realized what was happening, he had signed on to star in a film with the fast-talking director.

"Quentin came to visit some time at the end of the summer, we talked about backstory, we talked about movie--I get up the next morning and see five empty bottles of wine right on the floor, five, and something that resembles a smoking apparatus--I don't know what that was about - and apparently I had agreed to do this film."

What a coincidence. That's how I tricked my first husband into marrying me.
