Brooke Shields Nude Portrait Removed From London Exhibition




Artist Richard Prince has withdrawn a nude portrait of a ten-year-old Brooke Shields from a London exhibition. Children's rights advocates were up in arms when they learned the photo might be part of the London art show, Pop Life: Art in a Material World. They argue that the image could act as a "magnet for pedophiles."

A spokesman for Scotland confirmed that the Obscene Publications Unit visited the exhibit and said, "The officers have specialist experience in this field and are keen to work with gallery management to ensure that they do not inadvertently break the law or cause any offence to their visitors." Since then, the room housing the photo has been closed.

In the infamous photo, taken by photographer Garry Gross, Shields is featured naked except for heavy makeup and was taken with the permission with the model/actress' mother, Teri Shields.

Chace Crawford And Ed Westwick Are Still Best Friends For Life!




OK, everything is still right with the world. Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick remain best friends even though Chace has moved out of their shared apartment.

Showbiz Spy reports that the two are still on very good terms and now hang out more that ever. Apparently, Ed was just too messy for Chace, and vice/versa. One source told the National Enquirer, "The truth is, they're both total slobs."

Also, it seems that living was really cramping both their styles. Chace wanted a place where he could have some more privacy, and since Ed has gotten very serious his girlfriend, Gossip Girl co-star Jessica Szohr, it jus felt like the right time.

I'm so happy these two never broke up. When Ed didn't show to Chace's birthday, I was just heartbroken. Was Ed upset that Chace was People's hottest bachelor? Was Chace upset that Ed had won a Young Hollywood Award? The speculation was endless, so I'm glad it's come to an end.

I am sad they don't live together anymore. There goes my nightly fantasy.

Brooke Shields Recalls Michael Jackson's Marriage Proposals To Her




Happily married with kids, Brooks Shields remembers when the late pop star Michael Jackson proposed to her, in an interview with Rolling Stone. The model turned actress believed that Jackson offered multiple marriage proposals to make sure they would always be connected.

Brooke elaborates, "I would say, 'You have me for the rest of your life, you don't need to marry me, I'm going to go on and do my own life and have my own marriage and my own kids, and you'll always have me." Her response "made him relax" according to Shields.

She describes their connection in very innocent terms and says that the longer they knew one another, the "more asexual" Michael seemed to become. Shields famously declared her virginity at age 20 and says of their bond, "We just found each other, and we didn't have to deal with our sexuality." I hate to admit that I still tear up watching her eulogy for him.

Celebrities Attend Michael Jackson Memorial




As the memorial for Michael Jackson takes place, his family and fans have flocked from all over to witness the singer being laid to rest. At the Staples Center, attendees were handed 14-page  programs in full color with anecdotes from his family.

Fans of the pop star include famous friends, including Magic Johnson, Wesley Snipes, Jennifer Hudson among others. The Kardashian clan showed up to lend their moral support. Kim Kardashian tells Us Weekly, "It's just really important to be here to support the Jackson family. My family and I have known them for years, so it's really special to be here for them."

The mix of celebrities is fascinating, to say the least, with Usher giving Brooke Shields a kiss on the cheek with his arrival and Dionne Warwick chatting with Kobe Bryant. As more arrive, they'll be added to our gallery of celebrity attendees.

James Marsden Is One Hot Daddy




This past weekend celebrities such as James Marsden, Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow and Denise Richards took part in a surfside family picnic at the Malibu Lumber Yard. The stars and their kids to part in face-painting, balloon art and jewelry making. Kids designed their own lunch pail, complete with shovel and sunglasses.

While the parents got to shop at various retail stores with the proceeds going to the EB Medical Research Foundation (www.ebkids.org), which funds research and treatment for the debilitating skin disease epidermolysis bullosa.

I'll say it. James Marsden is a total DILF! We need more James Marsden in our lives, or at least on our movie screens.

Brooke Shields Discusses Losing Her Virginity



When she wrote her autobiography On Your Own at the tender age of 20, Brooke Shields proudly informed the world that she was still a virgin. It was two years later that the model says she first had sex and that she probably would have done it sooner, had it not been for poor body image.

As unbelievable as it may sound, the nearly life-long model confessed to the magazine Health that she wishes she would have done the deed earlier in life. Shields told the mag, "I think I would have been much more in touch with myself. I think I wouldn't have had issues with weight. I carried this protective 20 pounds [in college]."

Good lord, if the pretty people are just as miserable as the rest of the world, what hope do mere mortals have?

Kiefer Sutherland Resolves Headbutt Situation




It appears that Kiefer Sutherland's legal woes as a result of his attack on Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough at the MET Costume Gala have come to a close.

The actor subsequently turned himself in for questioning the NYC police after the incident, however McCollough will no longer act as a "complaining witness" now that the two have come to an agreement over the situation.

Let's just hope that this baby doesn't get fresh with Brooke Shields.

Kiefer Sutherland & Brooke Shields Address Head-Butt Issue



Apparently, all prior statements attributed to Brooke Shields surrounding the incident in which Kiefer Sutherland engaged in an altercation with Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough have been untrue.

In order to clarify, her rep now says, "While at the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation."

As for Kiefer, although he's not making an official comment, although his lawyer did say, "We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening." The actor has already turned himself in into NYC police to discuss assault charges.

Now, I know it might just be the conspiracy theorist in me, but am I the only one wondering if Victoria Principal is somehow involved?
