Much like a plumber wields a wrench, Eva Mendes claims that she uses her sexuality as a tool of her craft. Mendes explains, "I don't allow myself to be typecast, but when I have to turn up the heat and turn up the sexuality and I do an amazing Calvin Klein campaign it's very conscious, that's no accident."

She describes the use of her sensuality in both her modeling and acting gigs as "methodical." The sultry actress explains, "If I feel it's appropriate to show some nudity in the scenes then I go for it. As much as I use my sexuality, I have never felt exploited."

And sometimes, a little nudity on the red carpet goes a long way too.

Something that we didn't pick up on when Taylor Lautner graced the CFDA Awards in New York, but Elizabeth Snead of the LA Times did. First of all, Taylor Lautner was at the awards which was kind of odd. Second, he was wearing Calvin Klein. Snead points out that when celebrities wear a designer's clothes to an event that usually implies a "fashion relationship."

So are we going to be seeing Taylor modeling for Calvin Klein soon? Can you imagine a Calvin Klein underwear campaign with the newly buff Taylor Lautner? Yummy.

We were a little concerned to see Mariska Hargitay in and out of the hospital a few months ago due to a partially collapsed lung. So it's nice to see the Law & Order: SVU actress out and about at the 69th Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala at The Metropolitan Opera House.

Hargitay told People magazine of her ailments, "I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt." Yikes. Well, she seems to be in better health these days and certainly looks great, in her black and white frock.

Everybody was looking quite flawless at the event with Eva La Rue looking stunning in an angelic gown with a plunging neckline. Anna Wintour was tiny, stylish and with small fur jacket to keep her bony shoulders warm. Pouring her extremely tan body into a strapless midnight blue dress, Kelly Ripa accessorized her outfit with her adorable husband Marc Consuelos on her arm.

If you thought that Mark Wahlberg looked kind of blasé in those Calvin Klein ads back in 1992in which he posted with a scantily clad Kate Moss, it's because he claims that her body type doesn't really do it for him.

Wahlberg told Nuts magazine, "It was OK. I wasn't into the waif thing. She kind of looked like my nephew. I mean she's beautiful--she's a very pretty nephew--but I'm more into curvy women."

Now THIS is more like it.

Having recently dissed Jennifer Lopez for her money-making endeavors and claiming that her only career goal is "becoming the best actress possible," Eva Mendes showed up at a promotional event in Harrod's to celebrate the launch of Calvin Klein's underwear line Seductive Comfort.

The Calvin Klein poster child has been spotted all over the place lately, promoting the company's wares that I had actually forgotten that she was an actress.

Unless this whole time she's been "acting" like a spokesmodel who likes getting PAID.

Not just the face (and nipple) of Calvin Klein, Eva Mendes has launched a new home decor line. I'd buy it. Eva has a great sense of style and I would trust her recommendation on what bedding is most comfortable without being trashy about it.

The line is called Vida and was launched at Macy's with Eva's grandmother at the event in Miami, Florida to support her celebrity granddaughter. Look at her little abuelita with her cane! She's too cute.

Once again, Eva's outfit doesn't disappoint (although dress pockets always perplex me) she looks great in this cream-colored frock.

The fragrance that had sexual overachiever Eva Mendes flash her nipple (a fact to which I refer multiple times throughout the day) is finally being launched. Throwing on a classy black sheath dress (I feel like she rarely has a fashion misstep), Eva looked simple and glam for the Secret Obsession launch event.

I guess all my references to her banned-in-the-U.S. nip flash is just proof that my obsession is not-so-secret. It's more like Awkward Obsession.
